Cabin holiday rentals in Durham

We had a great weekend in Jennie’s cabin. It is located in such a beautiful setting, very peaceful and scenic. The cabin offers a large entertaining space with plenty of amenities. The beds were super comfortable. The hot tub was a fantastic indulgence to chill in on a cold evening. We will definitely be returning next year.

The snug was exactly as described! Wonderful base for exploring around Otterburn. The cabin had all the amenities we needed for cooking and relaxing on a night and the hot tub was lovely to wind down in on an evening. The area itself is quiet and set back with plenty of birds and wildlife. Sara was always responsive and helpful and I think the pricing was excellent compared to alternatives! We would definitely stay again next time we are in the area 😌

Lovely view days away, used as a base to visit Holy island and Alnwick. Immaculate accommodation with lots of space. Hot tub was well maintained and clean. Lovely quiet site with everything we needed. Great host Novelle. First time using Air bnb and I hope all hosts are as good as Novelle.

Peaceful place to stay with lots to do in the area.Martin was very helpful sending some suggestions for things to do.

Lovely comfy lodge with everything needed for our stay. Lots of information available about local attractions. Nice peaceful and relaxing setting with a lovely safe space for kids to play. Hot tub was an added bonus. We stayed whilst visiting family close by and would definately stay again.

Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at Pete’s cabin. It was lovely and peaceful. The hot tub was amazing. Pete was always on hand to help re heat the hot tub. The fresh eggs from the hens were a great addition and were very tasty! Overall it was an amazing stay and would highly recommend Pete’s cabin to anyone wanting a lovely peaceful get away!

Really enjoyed our stay at ‘The Niblet’. The surroundings are amazing, with horses, rabbits, kites right outside every day. The place had everything you need for a couple of days and the hot tub was great! Faye was very helpful, and put up some birthday bunting for my wife which was a nice touch. Will definitely be coming back!

We had a lovely relaxing stay at the grass field hut. The stay was amazing we didn’t want to leave, better than we expected. Anna was a great host and helped with anything we needed. (Recommendations of walks and the local pub) the tearoom is a lovely added touch for somewhere to enjoy other than your private space! We will definitely be returning as would love to explore areas around even more! Thank you for a such a lovely experience x

The Fell Hideaways were perfect for our get away. Ideally located for the various Roman Forts and Hadrians Wall. The place itself was peaceful, with the four pods well spaced apart - privacy was assured. It was clean and our hosts brilliantly responsive. I would highly recommend.

Excellent stay and excellent hosts! We came for a getaway after our wedding and this place did not fail. Very peaceful, beautiful area, lovely hikes and a lot of nature to take in. The room was immaculate, comfortable and well sized. Was very accommodating for our dog also. Helen and Alan were brilliant hosts and very responsive. They even made ourselves a wedding gift. 10/10 would go again.

Really enjoyed our stay, what a lovely place, so pleased we found this gem. Quiet, lovely walks for both of us and our dog. Lovely beach walks..perfect.. Amazing place to stay and much bigger than we were expecting, plenty to do all within a short drive and lovely surroundings.

An excellent, clean property well located for our visit to the Northumberland coast. The site itself was very clean and safe for our grandchildren to play. Vickie was a responsive host who was always quick to answer our questions. The only drawback was poor WiFi and issues with connecting to 4G at times. However this did not spoil our stay one bit. Thank You

Lovely peaceful place to stay. Cosy wooden pod, comfy bed, spotlessly clean, really lovely feel to the place. Shower and toilet huts were clean and spacious. Breakfast and packed lunches provided by Joanne were delicious and full of variety. Hosts were really friendly and informative. All round fantastic place to stay 😊

We had a lovely 2-night stay with our dog, and felt we could relax straight away. The cabin is spacious but cosy, and had everything we could’ve needed, with basic supplies and a few treats kindly provided, as well as games, books and good wifi. The weather wasn’t at its best during our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy the new garden swing, or do any stargazing, but we loved that the garden was enclosed and not overlooked. The location was very peaceful and it was easy to access nice dog walk routes in each direction. Charlene and Ian are great hosts, very responsive and so thoughtful - I was very touched by the special birthday wishes. We’d love to return.

We spent a lovely week in the cottage. We particularly enjoyed being surrounded by ducks, geese, goats, hedgehogs and cats. The indoor swimming pool was great too. Good location, close to many diverse hiking routes, museums and the beautiful Fountains Abbey.

This was a truly wonderful place to stay. Felt like home as every little detail had been thought about and was really cosy. It was perfect for the 6 of us. Great location right next to the sea with wonderful sunrises strolling along the beach. Beautifully decorated and well kept accomodation. Close to some fabulous attractions. We enjoyed Woodhorn Colliery museum, saw dolphins at Newbiggin as the sun set, a fantastic boat trip to the Farne Islands and Lindisfarne from Seahouses, Warkworth Castle and beach, and a stop in Amble. Thank you so much to our wonderful hosts who kept in good communication throughout and were really helpful. We would thoroughly recommend this place to others looking for a base to explore Northumberland and all it has to offer.

Absolutely fantastic stay from start to finish. Set in such a beautiful area with the most amazing views. Lovely and clean accommodation and lots of space for a family of 5. Would highly recommend and will be definitely returning in the future.

When I first walked into the caravan I think my first words were "wow this is amazing" and I was beaming with joy from how happy the place made me. Danielle and Micky have put so much effort in to make the caravan homely. They have literally thought of everything you could need for your holiday. You can tell they really care about the guests having a really good holiday in their caravan and as a family, we felt really cared for and thought of from the little touches that were there. The kids were so excited that there was an Xbox too😆 My 7 year old son kept commenting how it's the best caravan ever and way better than the other one we stayed in. He said his bed was comfier than his one at home 😂 and my 9 Yr old was asleep within 10 mins which is unheard of.. so I now have my work cut out improving their own beds!! 100% recommended this place. Great last minute weekend away decision! We have had a great time. Friendly and helpful hosts. The cabin was warm and cozy. Bed was comfortable. Beautiful surroundings. Our Cocker Spaniel loved the field and woods next door to explore and enjoyed her treat from Allison when we arrived. Spotted the local barn owl which would swoop by the cabin each evening. We also visited the cafe and bought some super tasty cheeses and the sausages were top notch. Will definitely be back!!!! :-)

Lovely quiet setting with friendly host's that was happy to help. The view from the pods was great. We would definitely visit again.
