When designing and decorating the accommodation, it was configured as a large suite where guests can enjoy maximum comfort and detail, feel at home with the independence that this entails and with all the amenities that a house offers. The ultimate goal is for guests to have an unforgettable memory of their stay. All the decoration has been carefully studied to make it a truly privileged place, where I have included part of my travels, as paintings brought from Bali, tapestries and fabrics from Cambodia have been hung, and all this mixed with furniture and objects that I have been acquiring for years from different places and sites, giving rise to a very special mix, in a unique atmosphere and that gives an exclusive magnetism to the place. Specifically, it is an apartment, located in the town of Marbella, in the exclusive area called Golden Mile, close to accommodations as exclusive as the Puente Romano Hotel and the Marbella Club Hotel. The one-bedroom apartment has room for four people, a master bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. It is designed for a couple or a couple with one or two children who want to enjoy a quiet stay in a residential and exclusive area, close to all the areas of interest in the town of Marbella. It has a 44 square meter terrace overlooking Marbella's iconic and emblematic mountain "La Concha". The apartment is within a residential complex, with few houses with a video surveillance system and common garden areas and a swimming pool of considerable size, depending on the total number of neighbors. In short, it is a place located in a sea of tranquility and disconnection within walking distance of everything a place like Marbella offers. A complex made up of 28 houses, with great privacy, security cameras in the access and common areas, parking for 2 cars, a swimming pool with a garden and a hammock area, which usually has few people, as it does not have many neighbors, and a concierge. There are two more entrances that can be found in front of Olivia Valère on the Carretera de Istán and through the Camino de los Manchones, which gives access to the areas of Marbella Hill Club, Marbella Sierra Blanca, Nagüeles and Camoján. Snuggle up by the wood-burning fireplace in this cosy 'cottage/chalet style' sanctuary nestled within a peaceful walled oasis, just a few minutes from Lancaster town centre. It's remarkably light and airy inside, thanks to white paneling and skylights. Help yourself to a nice glass of bubbles and take in the spectacular close up views of Lancaster Castle from the window seat, whilst you plan your days ahead. Draw a hot bath in a copper tub big enough for 2 (with Castle View's very own homemade lavender bubble bath) before climbing in to the exceptionally comfortable 'secret bedroom'. Quaint on the outside. Quirky on the inside. Inside Castle View, the secret bedroom and bathroom are a real surprise and simply luxurious! Everything is kitted out with your complete comfort in mind. A giant copper bath for 2 people, a king size natural mattress with 400 thread count Egyptian cotton bed linen, Smeg fridge/freezer and a giant 'Loaf' sofa to sink into in front of the wood burner. The flat screen TV can be positioned to watch from the living room, 'secret' bedroom or bathroom. Insulation and remote control blackout blinds throughout the property ensure a peaceful nights sleep. The property is detached from our home and has it's own parking space. We're around in person or by text to help in any way that we can - although we completely understand that many guests will want to keep themselves to themselves. :) Just a minutes walk from Lancaster Castle, 3 minutes walk from Lancaster train station and a 4 minute, breath taking walk to the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, yet situated in a peaceful walled oasis in the heart of historic Lancaster Castle Conservation area. Whether you want a romantic retreat or a comfortable base to explore the North West - the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales & Manchester Airport are all about an hour away. Parking space a few strides from the cottage. Getting around could not be easier! The property has it's own parking space. The train station really is 2 minutes walk away from the property gates. Simply wheel your case straight up from the platform. No need for a taxi! By train, Manchester airport is a direct 1 hour 15 train journey away. Oxenholme (The Lake District) 12 mins. Delightful seaside towns such as Silverdale and Arnside 15/20 mins away. Yorkshire Dales 30 minutes. Morecambe 10 minutes. There are frequent direct trains to Edinburgh and London that take just under 2.5 hours. There are cycle tracks on our doorstep to picturesque riverside locations and seaside villages and towns. We are less than 10 minutes walk away to the bus station. Children aged 8 years and upwards are welcome. Feel free to bring your own dry logs and kindling - or buy a basket from us for £10. The apartment is on the third floor of a renovated building. There is lift from the first floor. It is equipped with everything you could wish for. The bedroom has a double bed with 1.50m x 1.95m, and has a closet to store your things. The bathroom is complete with towels and a hairdryer. In the living room you have a table if you dine so you can dine or work if that is the case. There is a kitchen equipped with all appliances and utensils to use. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.
