It features restored Victorian cornicing and incredible refurbished bay windows with views of the historic high street and abundant natural light. The room name is taken from the glorious Pentland hills which are but a short walk from the award winning Balerno Inn. The Pentland is a warm room with stunning Harris tweed drapery. This room has the added advantage of being able to host an additional bed for a child so is perfect for a family. The room features a desk, terrestrial digital tv and radio, kettle, individual tea and coffee. Also provided is a powerful hairdryer and ironing facilities are available from reception. The en-suite is spacious with wc, walk in shower enclosure and sink unit with illuminated warmed mirror. We offer optional soft touch house keeping and all rooms include a free grab and go breakfast for consumption in your room.

Quiet place close to Edinburgh in a very convenient location, very near the city centre but in local and quiet neighbourhood. You have many things around and the views from your room are of the beautiful Pentland Hills. Nice for people travelling to explore Edinburgh and around, having a stop over to/ from the Highlands or for newcomers to Edinburgh while searching for a permanent place where to stay. The bed can be arranged as a single or double room, according to the number of guests.

Our boutique hotel is located in a peaceful area of the New Town but very close to all tourist attractions Room 7 on the lower ground floor is our largest room and combines a double bedroom and a separate lounge with sofa bed that sleeps two children. The whole apartment can accommodate 3 adults maximum with one sleeping in the sofa bed This charming suite has a shower and bath, fridge, high speed wi-fi/streaming TV and access to a rear courtyard.
