Monthly Rentals in Elliðaey

Really in the countryside! Horses, puppies. Quiet and still close to everything. On the other hand, curtains to cover the entire patio door would have been appreciated (especially when the sun does not set). The place is small, but perfect for 1-2 nights keeping your clothes in the suitcases.

Jóhanna’s place was everything and more! Unbeatable location: within a couple minute walk to the local coffee shop/bakery, bookstore, restaurants, and local sites. Walkable to the ferry as well. Parking right out front and a lot next door. Easy check in. Spacious, clean (aside from a little dust but I always wipe surfaces down anyways), and clean towels/linens. We felt right at home and would recommend this hands down. We truly didn’t want to leave and are so thankful to have had such a wonderful first stay in Iceland. Thank you Jóhanna, you have a gem of a place!

This place was awesome to stay in. Private location not far from the main road and many of southern Iceland's attractions. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed with my two year old and OMG there's an incredible playground just steps from the apartment! Such a huge bonus! Dagny's space was lovely and spacious and very easy to find and get to anywhere you want on the island (we had a car). She also provided some great local recommendations ❤️
