Best location in Weimar, great apartment, very nice, caring hosts

We had a nice, albeit very wet, Pentecost weekend in Rachel's house. We were two families (6 people, 2 children (3 years)). We particularly liked how child-friendly and well-equipped the house was. There are plenty of toys and the trampoline in the garden was a hit. The surroundings are beautifully idyllic. However, we were a little surprised by the high number of ticks, but no one can do anything about that. However, you should prepare yourself before a vacation in the area (vaccination, spray) and check daily, especially with the kids. The house was very cozy and could be heated wonderfully warm with the fireplace in the unfortunately very bad weather. The walk to the house, which is a little elevated, was a little impractical. If you arrive with a little more luggage and shopping, you have to walk the way several times, but it worked. Overall, we were satisfied and felt very comfortable.

We were there with a dog over New Year's Eve. Beautiful house, no frills, very well equipped kitchen (I have to mention it: sharp cutting knives), very cozy and soundproofed. Didn't even hear the blast. Host very nice, ostramondra seems to host many dogs, in our case there was a lot of barking in the neighborhood, which did not bother us.

We used the cottage with two families (2 children and 2 adults each). The sleeping situation was really ideal as we had two large bedrooms and the entire attic. This allowed everyone to sleep in different lengths. The entrance area was really great, so you want to go home, 8 people can kick off shoes and jackets at the same time. The kitchen equipment was really very good. A second bathroom, at least when using 8 people, would certainly be the icing on the cake.

Our stay at Chalet Birkenzauber was magical 🫶 The entire accommodation for us was super cozy, well equipped (unlimited 5G Wi-Fi, 4kSmartTv, coffee maker with all kinds of pad hangers etc...) and offers a magnificent view and because we were there over New Year's Eve we had a fantastic fireworks spectacle! The area had many highlights to offer. The museums, picturesque hiking trails and the snow park towards Oberhof with its versatile winter activities such as skiing, biathlon shooting and a fantastic view. Everything necessary like supermarkets with bakery was right nearby We didn't miss anything. Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for recreation and or experiences. Thank you Mandy again for this wonderful break we were able to experience and the little touches that made it even more special! ❤️

I had an amazing time here! I arrived at night, to a sky full of stars and nightingales singing in the trees across the street. The house was really well furnished and decorated, everything super comfortable and all very new. The skylights in the bedroom were great. The only surprises were good ones! It was a really quick drive into Erfurt and also pretty close to Weimar. A really wonderful place. I hope to return!

We were satisfied with everything, recovered well and the fenced property for our dog was very nice. The only thing missing in the description was that the stairs were very inconvenient for dogs...but not bad, we slept downstairs. The cottage is very modern, for us already much too good😅 maybe you could get new cutlery and the chairs are too low for the table, or the table too high for the chairs. But this is not a criticism, it is just information or a recommendation. Best wishes and thank you for the wonderful days in Thuringia.

The place was very clean and just right for all the people. Nearby are various restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. If you feel the wanderlust, this is also a good starting point. The huge couch and fireplace invite you to chat and the kitchen is superbly equipped. There are enough beds available even if the climb to the top takes some getting used to. But all in all very cozy and modern. We enjoyed the time together very much and can highly recommend Nicole's place.

One of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in, located in the city of Erfurt but in a very calm and relaxing place, we were in the area for work and it was perfect to relax at the end of the day, it has everything you need in the house, Anke, Frank and Kheda are very friendly and good hosts, I really recommend it, thank you

Bad Sulza is very clear and nothing is more than 20 minutes walk from the property. Also some circular & hiking trails lead along the address of Anja Haus. Good local recreation!

Had a wonderful stay with nice walks and bike rides. The bungalow has all the amenities you need and a lovely sauna to end the day in!

The place was very nice. Beautifully furnished, clean and everything corresponded to the pictures. Great terrace and chill lounge with grill. The only downside: upon arrival (in April) all radiators were off. On the first day, the apartment was only 17 degrees. The next day, however, it got nice and warm. We would go again.

We had a wonderful week in the cottage. Mario and Silke are very nice people and always helpful. The house is very cozily furnished, nothing is missing and there are lovingly made details everywhere. The sunsets on the veranda were a dream. Our kids had a lot of fun in the great pool. There is so much to do with and without children in the area that we only managed a fraction. Very good was the fairy world and the fairy cave in Saalburg and the climbing forest and the summer toboggan run in Saale.

Host was very friendly and received us very politely. The apartment is very centrally located to an S-Bahn (suburban train) station, a REWE supermarket and a bakery. You have everything you need. If you should go to the city, the S-Bahn is well connected and there within 7-8 minutes. We'll be happy to come back.

The apartment was just as described, very nicely decorated and clean. The location is good, relatively central, but still not too noisy. I especially liked the direct proximity to the Gera. The only drawback: Parking is difficult to get, as there is a resident parking zone directly at the apartment and the free parking spaces are almost continuously occupied. All in all but definitely a very nice and inexpensive place to stay. I will definitely be happy to come back on my next visit to Erfurt!

Very nicely furnished accommodation and excellent cleanliness. The beds were comfortable, the apartment had everything that was needed. Unfortunately, the parking situation in the street was not good, but the hostess can do nothing about that. The city center can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. In front of the house were garbage cans, which stank a lot, so the ventilation in the apartment (ground floor) was not so great, in addition, the other tenants smoked in the hallway, fortunately nothing of it was noticeable in the apartment. We would book again without hesitation.

Well located. The apartment is very nicely decorated, very clean and there is everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Everything you need to spend a few nice days in the Thuringian Forest. The accommodation is a self-contained apartment in a larger detached house, but you don't get too much from the neighbors. The apartment is tastefully furnished and was really sparkling clean. The contact with Jörg was friendly and uncomplicated. There's nothing to complain about. A good starting point for local hikes.

4 nights in a cozy student dorm. Konstatin came to let us in because we were there way too early. Thank you again for that! Very centrally located. We could reach everything on foot. There was everything you needed. And animals are very welcome. If Weimar is on the plan again, then we know where we will knock
