Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Erlangen-Höchstadt

Sven was a super gracious host who communicated very well with us. The home was close to family we have, so we were able to walk between the two homes readily, which was very convenient. The home was cozy and provided us a great space to recharge after our days out.

We had a lovely stay with Annette. Lovely accommodation, modern appliances, clean, friendly host with helpful local recommendations. Great peaceful area would stay again 😊

A beautiful and renovated accommodation in the countryside in the middle of Franconia. The house was spacious and offered enough space for our young family of five, with a large, cozy garden for playing, exploring and being creative. A table tennis table and a foosball table provided additional fun for young and old. Everything was neat and clean, we didn't miss anything. The location is very nice and quiet, yet only a short drive from supermarkets, restaurants and excursion destinations. The hosts are super friendly, respond quickly and welcomed us warmly incl. Excursion tips, restaurant recommendations and a sweet surprise!

We rented the house with both apartments. There is a large garden with sauna, pool house and fireplace.

5 ★ Stay – Perfect Anniversary Retreat We chose Cristina’s place to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt an abundance of good vibes and positive energy throughout the house. The location is wonderfully quiet, surrounded by nature, with plenty of lovely walking paths. The house itself was cozy, spotlessly clean, and felt like a warm hug. It was the ideal serene getaway we were hoping for. With so many interesting places just a 30‑minute drive away, we were able to soak in the region’s charm—Veste Coburg, the impressive fortress known as the "Franconian Crown," is a must-see. Cristina was truly a perfect host: proactive, always available, and a pleasure to communicate with. Her thoughtful touches and responsiveness made our stay effortless and enjoyable. We highly recommend this lovely retreat to anyone seeking peace, charm, and access to the gems of Franconia. We’re already hoping to stay here again.

The place is in a very quiet area, ideal for relaxing. The apartment is stylishly furnished, it leaves nothing to be desired. I felt very comfortable Unfortunately, you can only use the sauna from a five day booking. I can recommend the apartment and would love to come back.

We stayed in the apartment as a family with two children and had four wonderful days. The apartment is cozy, the garden is magical and you are in a few minutes' walk in the forest or at the idyllic Fichtelsee. Michael and his wife were wonderful, very nice and open hosts. The children especially loved cat Bärle. We definitely recommend Michael's place.

A fantastically beautifully located apartment with fantastic views, great garden, beautiful and functional furnishings and furnishings, very, very nice and helpful hosts, and beautiful surroundings. Very quiet, surrounded by greenery, and yet only 5 minutes' walk from Kulmbach's old town. Everything is perfect - and the price-performance ratio is unbeatable. Unrestricted recommendation!

Beautiful, spotless space and calm little village. The room was exactly as advertised and had all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Easy to find with the instructions from Sandra. She was very responsive and a great host, despite us arriving so late (DB drama), she was very understanding and welcomed us with kuchen. Unfortunately our days were packed so we could not enjoy the accommodation to its fullest extent, but it was a great place to come back to after a day of activities. Would certainly return! Just a note, we came with a small van, and it was quite difficult to make the turn and get up the steep hill to the hof for parking. It would certainly be a lot easier for those with a smaller/normal sized car, but in case you are also in a bit of a bigger vehicle, just note you will have to turn a few times to make it work.

Very nice forest house with spacious old building apartment in a charming Franconian village & with an equally charming host. Franconia is just around the corner, Bamberg is just a stone's throw away by car, and in every hamlet there are great breweries to stop at. Definitely a place to come back to.

There were no problems checking in or out; The area is very rural, but somewhat larger towns are very close; For us it was very suitable and we would definitely book it again if we want to go back to Rothenburg. Greetings to the hosts Diana, Meg and Friedrich

A charming little cottage, which has grown from wonderful management. Here you can feel comfortable, a mixture of forest house, hut and grandma's times, it gives a loving arrangement. We spent a nice family weekend here, used the forest path, as well as the nearby oil mill and the board games provided.

Very quiet and idyllic forest hut to just really unwind. In the evening, the birds sing you to sleep, and in the morning they wake you up. And if not, the sun wakes you up, shining directly in your face - and thanks to the trees, not at sunrise, but quite comfortably around 8 a.m. (in June) :-) In the morning, greet the sun with a coffee in front of the hut and dangle in the hammock during the day or hike in the forest, or if you want, go to the nearby spa. In the evening, prepare your food at the campfire or camping stove. At night (with mosquito repellent!), you can wonderfully watch the stars. Simply a really great place for all those who are looking for slowing down and nature and can and want to leave their mobile phone off for a few days or use it very little... or have a good power bank. ;-) Karin was very friendly and uncomplicated and took care of everything. I'd love to come back!

The cabin hause was cosy, the host was friendly and everything was clean. Just wc and bath were in the separate share section. I recommend it.

Pleasant stay in a quiet location. Friendly and helpful host. Kitchen is well equipped, but a little small. There were six of us, one of us had to sleep in a walk-through room to the bathroom. The outdoor area is very nice and invites you to relax and unwind.

We felt completely comfortable with Nabila and her family. We were very warmly accommodated. Since they were not at home on the first day, Nabila's mother took over the check-in. The cabin offers retreat and yet very nice interactions took place. Interesting conversations, our children also got along well. We also love the nature in the pommelsbrunn, which is very inviting for hiking. I'd love to come back anytime.

Idyllic accommodation with a huge farm garden. Really fantastic. Cozy cottage for overnight stay. The open kitchen with covered seating invited us to linger every day. A very friendly and pleasant host, with whom you occasionally meet by chance in the garden for a chat. We will be happy to come back. 🤗
