Waterfront holiday rentals in Erlangen-Höchstadt

We were in the apartment over the weekend to explore the area around Altmühlsee and Brombachsee. An ideal apartment for this. The Altmühlsee can be reached on foot in 5 minutes, the Brombachsee by car in 20 minutes. Gunzenhausen, with its beautiful old town and good restaurants, is also only 8-10 minutes away by car. The apartment is perfect for 4 adults (there were only three of us), it is very spacious, modern, has a nice large balcony with good views. It is a quiet area to relax and feel good. The kitchen is well equipped, all the necessary things were there, even dishwashing detergent, dish towels and tabs for the dishwasher. A bottle of water and pads for the coffee machine, as well as tea, were also available. Very attentive! I highly recommend the apartment. Thorsten is a courteous and friendly host, gives many tips and is always helpful. Thank you so much for letting us be guests here.

Astrid was an exceptional host—kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful. During my stay, I experienced a medical emergency, and she went above and beyond to assist me, even accompanying me to the pharmacy since I don’t speak German. What truly touched me was how she checked in on me over the following days—a gesture that showed genuine care. Her home was absolutely lovely: beautifully kept, cozy, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, whether short or long-term. The stunning water views and nearby beer garden added to the charm. While the house was impeccably clean, it’s worth noting there’s no microwave (the oven works just fine!). For groceries, dm and Rewe are about 2km away, easily accessible by bus. Out of all the Airbnbs I’ve stayed in, this was by far my best experience. I only wish I could’ve stayed longer! I can’t recommend Astrid’s place enough—it’s truly special.

Beautifully furnished apartment with a lot of love for detail. There was nothing missing. Great equipped kitchen! Our goal was a long weekend in a quiet, beautiful and natural accommodation. Accordingly, we absolutely got our money's worth! 100%i recommendation.

The accommodation is centrally located in the city center of Bamberg, everything is within walking distance. The view of the residence, the cathedral and the different churches is really beautiful. Everything was clean and we'd love to come back.

We were spontaneously in the accommodation for one night; the contact with the hosts was friendly and uncomplicated. Everything you need is available in the accommodation, we were particularly impressed by the large terrace with barbecue. The parking spaces in the underground car park are also very practical. Overall a short but great stay, happy to come back!! Thank you!

The accommodation was great for our family vacation over the extended weekend! Even in hot temperatures, it was very pleasantly cool inside, even at night in the really comfortable beds. Accommodation and garden are beautifully decorated, we were warmly cared for and the surrounding area has a lot to offer. An eventful time, especially for the children.

Everything was great, Lucia was very nice and personally on site when we arrived. The house is super quiet and everything was clean, the kitchen had great amenities and everything we needed was there. The only mini small flaw was probably that a bed squeaked from my girlfriend :D Otherwise everything is great, we will be happy to come back and can only recommend the accommodation.

We had a nice girls' weekend at Julia's house. The house is very spacious, there are enough toilets and sleeping places for 6-8 people. The kitchen and dining area are huge and invite you to linger. The house is secluded in the countryside, it is super idyllic and quiet. In 15 minutes you can walk to the village and go shopping and eating there. If you like peace and quiet and enjoy a trip to the countryside, I can recommend Julia's house.

We were guests with 10 people in the laughing Lieselotte and felt very comfortable there. Everyone had their own little kingdom and the large living room and the beautiful terrace offered space for everyone! Everything takes place on one level, perfect for our slightly disabled grandfather. The furnishings are functional, very tasteful and modern, everything was very clean. Due to the beautiful weather, we always used the large table on the terrace where everyone had plenty of space. The house is located in a quiet residential area, birdsong accompanied us all day. The free natural swimming pool just around the corner is awesome, very well maintained, perfect for hot days and small children. In 30 minutes you can be in Nuremberg by car, and it is also very well connected by public transport. We would love to come back and have already recommended the house to friends. Thank you for the wonderful time!

A beautiful, old half-timbered house, stylishly restored and furnished, awaited us. Martin was a very courteous and friendly host with tips for activities in the area (restaurants, adventure playground, swimming spots on the surrounding lakes, etc.) The horses in the yard and the garden with play equipment were of course a special highlight for our children. There was also plenty of space in the house and lots of play and entertainment options. For us parents, local beer and wine specialties were waiting in the "minibar". So there was something for everyone. Always happy to come back!

We had a great week at the Bühlhof. The farm is very nice and cozy, the animals were the highlight for the kids - and we adults were able to relax superbly. We thought the location was pretty good because you can easily reach many exciting places. Kim's tips, which can also be found in the guestbook, were definitely worth a visit. The apartment itself is one of the best Airbnbs we've been to so far. It is cozy and nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable, the fireplace creates a great atmosphere. It was all sparkling clean and Kim thought of so many details - I only had to bring half of what I usually bring to other vacation rentals. In the kitchen there is really everything, utensils anyway, but also oil/vinegar/spices plus coffee and tea. The bathroom also lacks nothing (my daughter loved the hair care). A little surprise was waiting on every bed. We absolutely recommend the apartment.

a stay with Florence and Florian is like coming home and a warm bath, what a particularly nice people. They rent a particularly spacious and beautifully tastefully decorated apartment where it is wonderful to stay. Their great commitment and helpfulness, where we needed medical help, was heartwarming and super kind.

We felt comfortable. We could easily store our bikes. The opportunity to sit outside is also great. Good starting point for bike tours. The apartment is suitable for families as well as for 3 to 4 adults. The new bathroom has become very nice. We're looking forward to next year!

We had a wonderful stay at Margit’s place while attending a tradeshow at the Nuremberg Messe, just a short 10-minute drive away. From the start, the host was incredibly accommodating, kindly allowing us an early check-in which made our arrival smooth and stress-free. The apartment, located on the second floor of a charming three-story house, was spotless, quiet, and very well maintained. It had everything we needed, with all amenities thoughtfully provided. The beds were especially comfortable—we all slept very well throughout our stay. The neighborhood is peaceful, and we appreciated having a few restaurants, a grocery store, and a bakery all within walking distance. Overall, we can only highly recommend Margit’s place. It was the perfect home base for our time in Nuremberg!

For my first stay in Bamberg, we did everything right with the location. You could walk to the old town in less than 2 minutes' walk and right in the action. The apartment was ideally suited for 4 people and had a homey atmosphere. The rustic old style of the house was simply admirable. The only sticking point at the location is still the noise from the street. But if you can avoid a deep sleep or earplugs provided, the problem solves itself. For people who are in Bamberg for the first time or generally for the beer, this AirBnb is definitely worth a recommendation. If I personally end up there again, definitely go back there.
