Holiday rentals with lake access in Essen

Anne's property is beautiful. It is peaceful and quiet and the area is wonderful.

This is a lovely, spacious apartment in Flüren; perfect for our needs. Matthias was welcoming and helpful and the place was clean and warm.

Everything was perfect, the hostess was very responsive and created very comfortable conditions with a gorgeous view of the lake, we felt at home, the reality exceeded expectations and special thanks for the compliment in the form of flowers, fruits and sweets. I recommend it 100%!

A very homely house, right on the Rhine dam. Super quiet location. Very large fenced property. Dogs are welcome. The house was very clean. After booking, as well as during the stay, we were kindly looked after. Our questions were answered quickly. Thank you and we'll be happy to come back.

We enjoyed our short trip with the group very much and had a great time in this very beautiful and spacious location. We spent a week in February at the villa on Lake Baldeney, as we were looking for a place to stay for several colleagues for a fair in Essen. Location is good, especially because the bus line from Essen Central Station stops right outside the door. Sarah welcomed us in a very friendly way. The ground floor is extremely spacious and offers plenty of space, with a large kitchen as well as a large dining table and large sofa. The upper floors, on the other hand, are slightly more winding, and some of the bedrooms are directly connected to each other, which should be noted when planning the room distribution. Since the house is quite large, it takes a while to warm up everywhere – especially in the upper floors and bathrooms you have to heat neatly to be comfortable. The outdoor area is also very large and certainly invites you to linger in summer. Due to the season, however, we were unable to use it. The view on the lake was great

It was a lovely stay. The house was spacious, clean and the beds were (too) comfortable. The garden is to fall in love with. Enjoy the birds, squirrels and other animals we have seen. The only pity was the weather, but despite that, it was fantastic. We will definitely come back when the sun is shining. Marcus is particularly helpful and the communication is very friendly. The house is great value for money and is spacious, but it is a little unfortunate that it is located in the basement. The kitchen at the entrance is a little wet, the small bedroom is slightly renovated, everything else is pretty good.Tidy house and yard.

Arieh‘s apartment is on the bank of the Rhein, with a terrific view over the river. The location is very close to the central train station (6 or 7-minute walk), so if you want to be based in the center of Cologne for your visit this is an excellent spot. I stayed for a weekend of Karneval and the location really hit the sweet spot: it was very easy to go to all the festival events, but it was nice and quiet when I needed to rest. Arieh generously loads out the kitchen for you, with bread, cheese, meats, and some fruits and vegis so that you will have something to eat every day. There is also coffee and tea on-site. I bought some of my own groceries anyways but it was really a nice touch to have some food there upon arrival. Arieh even provides showergel and a toothbrush! So this place is really plug and play. Arieh is a terrific host who was in touch before, during, and after the visit. I definitely felt that I was in good hands. Thanks so much Arieh!

Thank you very much, we will definitely come back. ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️ What we liked was:::: - Communication was super fast and uncomplicated, as well as check-in and check-out. - The apartment is as shown in the photos, large and well equipped. - The location is great☺️. - Free parking 50m away from the apartment :: also super good. - Restaurant, café and pharmacy 2 minutes' walk away. - Cable car to Schloss Burg 5 minutes' walk and definitely recommended.

It was an incredible Airbnb. the place was clean and hospitable, the location quiet and the neighbours very helpful despite not knowing much English. the shopping center right next to the house was very useful and all the transportation very accessible. My husband was in Essen (E-World) with 3 colleagues for work. Everyone enjoyed the accommodation very much. Esme was very friendly and accommodating. She even picked up my husband (on the way to E:World) and drove him to E:World by car. Dear Esme, thank you again for that.
