Une semaine très agréable et reposante. Les hôtes sont très gentils et très sympathiques. Location atypique dans un cadre magnifique au calme, avec vue exceptionnelle.

This was an incredible and relaxing getaway—we honestly wish we had stayed longer. The tower is just as magical as the photos, and the views, olive grove, and pool were even better than expected. The surrounding town is darling and quiet, with just a couple of small restaurants and markets, which made it feel like a true escape. Luca was kind and responsive throughout our stay. Just a few things to note: there are a lot of stairs, and you’ll want a smaller car to navigate the narrow roads leading up to the tower. It’s a real castle, so it’s older and rustic—but full of charm and clearly loved. The only downside was that the hot tub on the roof no longer works, which was a bit of a letdown. Still, we absolutely loved our time here and would highly recommend it.

Relax and enjoy the many treasures of the tower and the surroundings. Ruvo de Puglia is a pleasant and authentic town, from where you can discover Puglia. We had the pleasure to sight a fox regularly and the many sounds of nature in the orchard were enticing. We used many herbs from the garden when cooking. Alessandra provided us with information about the herbs and nature in the orchard. Alessandra was a fantastic host, very informative and responsive. Our holiday was two weeks, during which we enjoyed ourselves more and more.

Was für ein atemberaubendes Baumhaus. Der Blick aus dem Fenster, auf den See und die Natur wirkte wie gemalt. Ein wirklich magischer Ort. Das Haus ist absolut smart gemacht und sehr gemütlich gebaut. Wir kamen sehr zur Ruhe, ganz so wie wir es uns gewünscht haben. Knut André und seine Frau Mara haben alles liebevoll und detailverliebt hergerichtet, sodass wir uns direkt sehr wohl und heimisch gefühlt haben. Für uns fehlte es an nichts. Die Küchenausstattung war super. Die Versorgung von Wasser, Gas, Holz und Kerzen war bestens vorbereitet. Die Sauna und Hot Tube haben unseren Aufenthalt dazu abgerundet. Dazu drei Tage strahlender Sonnenschein. ☀️ was wünscht man sich mehr. Wir haben unsere Sachen sogar mit dem Boot transportiert. Danke für drei unvergessliche Tage. Maik, Isabel und Teddy 🐾

Posizione incantevole, struttura di grande fascino e servizi adeguati al tipo di ambiente. Gli host carinissimi e molto reattivi, sebbene non disponibili in loco. Non abbiamo avuto nessun problema. Peccato per il prezzo che..è abbastanza alto; Capisco che si paghi l'esperienza, e ci sta, ma questo potrebbe impattare sulla possibilità di ritornare più spesso con altri amici interessati alla tipologia di vacanza

Wir lieben außergewöhnliche Unterkünfte und haben uns in dem liebevoll und individuell hergerichteten Doppelzimmer im Erdgeschoß des Turms sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Altstadt von Krumlov ist bezaubernd und unser Aufenthalt im Turm hat unsere Reise zu einem besonderen Erlebnis gemacht.

We loved our stay in Le Torre, Daniela and her father were so kind in picking us up from the bus stop. The tower has fantastic views over the sea and coast all the way feom Salerno to Capri, comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen - we enjoyed the Amalfi lemons Daniela gave us! There are lots of steps down to the small pebbly beach and main bus route, Amalfi to Sorrento, so you need to be fit to manage that. But there are also buses to Amalfi and Agerola/Bomerano (for Path of the Gods - recommended!) much closer to the flat from outside the post office, and Monastera Santa Rosa hotel respectively. Conca is lovely and quiet, unlike the main tourist towns, and has a great supermarket and a couple of good restaurants - Bonta del Capo and a pizza place - all v friendly with good food. Perfect spot to escape the crowds!

This was one of the most unusual places I’ve ever stayed in. We did have a few walkers come up from Chatsworth and admire the view but mainly we were in splendid isolation. Walking around the woods and admiring the Aqueduct in the evening was quite magical; it felt as though we had the whole place to ourselves. The tower itself is an amazing survival from Tudor times and has been modernised sympathetically. The round shower was a favourite feature. The nearby farm shop was very good with a wide range of good quality food. It did snow whilst we were there but Sandra from Chatsworth Cottages kept in touch and made sure we were fine which was much appreciated. Altogether I would recommend the tower for anyone who wants to stay somewhere unusual and highly memorable. One word of caution though there is a spiral staircase connecting the floors so the building is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

A Truly Unforgettable Stay Sara and Giuseppe’s home on the Mediterranean was an exceptional and exclusive experience. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with open arms—what a beautiful, warm-hearted couple. Their home is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views from every corner. Every detail reflected their thoughtfulness, including special gifts they had lovingly placed throughout the house. On our second day, Sara surprised us with a homemade vegetable pie that was so delicious, we would have gladly paid for another. We would love to have the recipe! Don’t hesitate to rent this incredible place—it will undoubtedly be a highlight of your entire trip. Thank you, Sara and Giuseppe, for an unforgettable experience! Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Wir waren mehr als zufrieden und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Das Haus ist wunderschön eingerichtet und wer einen Rückzugsort vom stressigen Alltag sucht ist hier genau richtig. Die entspannten Abende vor dem Kamin oder der Blick aus den großen Fenstern sind Gold wert!

Trois jours magnifique, dans une maison tenue avec beaucoup de goût, au calme et super bien équipé! Hôtes très accueillant, pleins excellents conseils! On recommande chaleureusement ce lieu!! Seul regret, on peut pas mettre 6 étoiles comme note 😉

We really enjoyed our few days at The Lookout and it was fantastic to stay in such a beautiful location in truly unique accommodation. Robert is a fantastic host, always quick to answer any questions and the information provided about local restaurants and places to visit was really helpful. If you’re looking for something a little bit special and a little bit different I’d recommend The Lookout!!

Sari worked with us after original contact person passed away unexpectedly. Jody had asked for a tree to help with Christmas atmosphere. Our 2 apartments had centerpieces that were attractive and emanated the smells of Christmas. Both units had trees. The lower one was outside the plate glass window with lights and red balls. The one in the second apartment was in the living area and really set the mood for Christmas for us all. Jody was so excited about seeing the faces of all of us when we saw the tower. I am sure he would not have been disappointed since each of us explored our units. He would have been so pleased. Thank you for all your efforts to make our stay as pleasant as could be under our circumstances. We did enjoy our time in your place.

Location affascinante, curata, in grado di regalare un viaggio nel tempo e anche una base di partenza per tante escursioni nei dintorni. Soggiornare in una torre medievale non ha prezzo e anche le scale da fare più volte al giorno (oltre che far bene alla salute) sono un ottimo prezzo da pagare per sentirsi castellani una volta nella vita. Host perfetto, Debora è una persona gentilissima e appassionata.

Wow what a spectacular and magical place. The views are incredible, the pictures don’t do it justice. From the moment we came in contact with Luca, he helped us every step of the way. The Tower was high end antique features, that I have never seen before. Very tastefully done. We fell in love with the roof top and the town. The town has coffee shop and 2 very high rated restaurants. Luca had great recommendation of restaurants and winery’s. The tower was clean, fresh, and the water pressure was amazing. The shower was incredible. 😍 There is parking at the top , where you can unload your suitcases. Tv in all the rooms. Heat as well. Great internet. The beds are cumfy. I cannot express how amazing this place is. 15 minutes to the top 5 winery’s in the region. We will be back for sure.

Iconic location. Super views over the city. A location we will surely remember for all the right reasons!

Wir hatten wirklich einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Alles war perfekt! Die Unterkunft ist wirklich atemberaubend. Die Lage kann nicht besser sein. Emanuele ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und schnell zu erreichen. Auch Check in und Check out können nicht unkomplizierter verlaufen. Wir können es also jedem aus vollster Überzeugung empfehlen! Sehr gerne wieder!

Eine ganz besondere Unterkunft in absoluter Ruhelage, nicht weit weg von Cuxhaven. Der Wasserturm ist noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos, und auf jeden Fall ein außergewöhnliches Erlebnis auf 4 Stockwerken. Großartiger, entgegenkommender Gastgeber, überdurchschnittlich gute Ausstattung des Hauses, viel Mühe mit nützlichen Details und alles sehr sauber und modern. Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Urlaub!!
