The Secret Orchard is a substantial, historic building. Fabulous inside, with modern fitting but still retaining many of the original features. Very comfortable beds. We particularly enjoyed the garden (Matt's tomatoes made me jealous). My wife thought the chickens, running free, were gorgeous.

Great place for 5 days of golfing at St Andrews clean and bright and the location is smack bang in the middle of south street just minutes to the criterion for an evening beer and a “cri-pie” communications perfect pleat of clear instructions and some Tassimo coffee pods provided, Bathrooms clean and tidy and water hot and plentiful My only recommendations are hooks in the bathroom for towel or clothes and some sort of shelf to put soap or shower gel But perfect for our needs -

Perfect cosy home from home, right down by the harbour in picturesque Pittenweem. The place was spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything you would want for a short stay, including fridge, microwave, toaster, hairdryer etc. Olivia had thoughtfully provided tea sachets and also a couple of Tunnock's teacakes, which were thoroughly appreciated! Very happy to recommend the Old Rope Store to solo travellers visiting the area.

Studio with lovely vibe The studio has an amazing vibe. The kitchen had everything we needed including a coffee machine with pods and dishwasher tablets, the bathroom helpfully had toiletries and the bed was extremely comfy. The flat is walking distance to the beach and the street has a number of restaurants and grocery shops. We’d definitely stay again!

I recently moved to Scotland with my 4 dogs and needed a place to stay while I figured out my permanent living situation. I booked for a 2-month stay. The location is everything I hoped it would be. You can see and hear the sea right outside your window. There are lots of really beautiful walks here in tiny West Weymss and the beach is right there. It's a short drive to a bigger town for shopping. it's about 30-40 minutes from Edinburgh Airport. Lynn has been the perfect host. She has been there whenever I had any questions or needed advise. She's absolutely wonderful. I'm really going to miss this spot when I move, but I feel very lucky to have found this place and to have been able to relax and unwind here.

We enjoyed our holiday the apt was in the street behind the harbour but still very quiet. Everything we needed in the apartment and more was there. A beautiful shared garden lovely to sit in with a glass of wine after being out all day. We were lucky to have sunshine every day and had beautiful walks along the coast. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely few days there, shower was lovely, very compact living space but everything was there, great wee dishwasher, garden was a delight, although we were elsewhere mainly ! Parking could’ve been better but I knew we were parking on the street but a bit too tight for my liking ! Didn’t meet Asta which was a shame ! Overall very happy with our stay !

Shirley was a marvellous host - sharing info in good time prior to arrival & going out of her way to accommodate us arriving a little early. The flat itself was beyond expectations with a great layout & homely touches. Beautifully decorated & extremely comfortable with plenty of space. Light & clean with great windows overlooking the horse paddock & the views beyond. The beds were clean & comfy, a great shower in the bathroom & fab range in the kitchen where we enjoyed making meals each day. Our car sat nav originally led us the wrong way once we got to the village but Shirley’s description was spot on once we followed that. Freuchie is a small peaceful place & ideally located to go on day trips up the coast towards Crail & St Andrews or further up North past Perth up to Dunkeld. We enjoyed Falkland hill & going to the Pillars of Hercules organic farm shop & cafe nearby & would happily stay here again as it was a real home from home with fantastic features to make you feel relaxed.

Charming place, walkable to everything we wanted to do. Had an incredible time playing golf at Saint Andrews, and in surrounding towns, and this was a great place to call home for the week.

Absolutely loved our long weekend in North Berwick and this flat was absolutely perfect for a special time together. The views were stunning, bed really comfortable and flat was just beautiful. So happy to have had this experience.

Amazing stay! The penthouse is in a posh, quiet area but close to shops and other amenities. Comfortable, great furnishings and a clean space. The balcony views are absolutely stunning — a perfect spot to relax. Highly recommend!

A lovely apartment with fabulous views of the beach and the bridges over the Forth. A great location for exploring the area. Convenient for Edinburgh, St Andrews and East Neuk.

Enjoyable place to stay with an amazing view and location.

Peter really was an exemplary host. Communications before arrival were all clear and helpful - we had a few minor queries on arrival and Peter dealt with everything very promptly and politely. The house itself is a delight and three generations (four individuals) of our family, all thoroughly enjoyed our long-weekend in St Monans, definitely helped by the lovely accommodation ... am sure we'll return :-)

Michael was a great host. He made himself available for any questions we had. The place was perfect. We will return.

lovely cottage for 2 people, the location in North street is perfect with free parking outside. The cottage is really well equipped including ironing board and iron...really useful as we were going to a wedding locally. Everything you would want in the kitchen too although we didnt coo as thete are so many lovely restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Would highly recommend this cottage and Gary was a great host checking in with us after we arrived to make sure everything was OK.

Amazing amazing place to stay, we absolutely loved it! The beach is so wonderful to walk on and swim in, and Alex and Dan’s place was so welcoming and cozy! And Alex and Dan are very kind and responsive!

The view from our house is simply breathtaking! You can see the entire city of Edinburgh across the bay. We love sitting on the lawn in front of the house, enjoying the gentle summer breeze. It only takes about 40 minutes to drive to Edinburgh Center, and it’s absolutely worth it for the amazing view. Our host is kind and responsive, and we wish we could stay there longer.

I wish we could give more stars. Honestly spectacular in all ways. Perfect for a family trip extremely comfortable accommodations with enough to do we were busy hiking and exploring the gardens and forests and the palace itself. The town is just 2 miles away with great food and shops. So much to do outdoors. Truly spectacular.

2 Queens Terrace was a perfect apartment for our party of 8. The accommodations were very comfortable, and the location couldn't be beat as we could easily walk to a variety of restaurants or other popular St. Andrews sites. Mark and Jill were wonderful hosts. They've thought of many extra amenities by providing a few essentials in the fridge, some snacks & drinks, and things like charging cords and fans in each bedroom. We highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting St. Andrews.

Extraordinary accommodation with magnificent view and in a beautiful location loaded with charm.

Great central location, walkable to the sights and restaurants. Even though it's on the main South Street of St. Andrews, it didn't sound noisy and the bedrooms are to the rear. We stayed with our 2 kids and it was a good location for them. Lesley was a great host, very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.
