We fall in love with this house. It has a lot of great moment to offer. You can walk on the frozen lake, playing snow around the house, and even seeing aurora from the house window. Love the surroundings! The amenities are also great. Thank you host for the great house with excellent service.

A lovely old cottage renovated with good taste in a quiet location. The chickens were clucking in the yard and the owner was really nice. The evening sun shone beautifully inside and in the morning we went to the sauna. Really neat and all the amenities were found. I have to come again!

We had a lovely stay with our two children ages 1 and 3. Natalia went above and beyond with fresh flowers and groceries for breakfast, this was a really thoughtful touch to the stay. There were gates for the top and bottom of the stairs that gave us peace of mind with the children. The home is cozy and attractively decorated. The location is breathtaking right on the lake with an authentic sauna and barbecue hut available to use. We highly recommend this home and location if you're looking for a traditional private lake cabin. We really enjoyed the remote location, note that it is 20-30 minutes to Rovaniemi and as described, make sure to come with a vehicle that can drive on dirt and gravel roads.

The environment is exactly as advertised. Peaceful, quiet and beautiful. A five-star bed and the rest of the cottage. Everything worked intuitively.

A peaceful and very comfortable place!

We love this house! The huge windows give you the feeling of being in the middle of nature. Nature becomes part of the building and essential design element, framed by architectural design at its best. Every view is a treat for the eye. Sensitive material selection, targeted viewing axes, design down to the last detail, and completely cozy at the same time. Sophisticated building technology and perfect lighting concept. We have arrived and walked marvelingly through the beautiful rooms. The stay was gratifying and inspiring for us, it was almost difficult for us to leave the house for our hiking excursions. The contact with Bitja and Timo was very nice. We got detailed instructions, quick help and great excursion tips and felt welcome. It was a really great time, and we can highly recommend it.

As described, friendly hosts. Value for money and very convenient location (route 6) when you want to move around in the region by private car (or some two-wheeler?) - or just to stay overnight. Note however, that Joensuu center is a drive away and parking there seems to be quite expensive.

The apartment was very beautiful, clean, and cozy. Everything was working just fine. It was a little worried that the mopeds who drove past that Friday night were disturbing our sleep, but the street next door quieted in time. It was a really nice visit, and I'm sure we'll go again if the opportunity comes. Thanks!

Sari's cottage was a great place to rest amid the hustle and bustle of Himos. The fireplace on the deck created a lovely atmosphere, and due to the late check-out time, there was also time to eat brunch on the morning of the long pattern. Thanks, Sari!

Before arriving, I received clear instructions on how to enter. If there were any questions, the answer was quickly received. The apartment was clean and the necessary kitchen and other supplies were found. The area was peaceful. A short walk away you could enjoy the proximity of the sea and nature. It was a good addition to the accommodation.

We enjoyed our stay, and there was everything we could expect from a cabin experience. We loved the sauna and the chance to have a dip in the lake. There was almost everything we needed, except for the vine bottle opener, which the owner kindly offered to bring it to us almost straight away. Beautiful cabin by the lake we can definitely recommend!

We spent a nice early summer weekend with the family at the cottage. The listing matched the description well. Communication was excellent. The places were in good condition.

We had a lovely time in Joonas’s place. He had nice instructions about the cabin and the area was quite peaceful. Cottage itself was actually better than the photos. We had one rainy night where we spend indoors playing games and terrace was also super nice to hang out. Our guests didn’t even mind the outdoor toilet and running water. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful time surrounded by nature! Already upon arrival we felt totally comfortable in the cabin! The location right on the lake can't be beat in idyll! 😊 The accommodation offers everything you need for a break from everyday life. With the hot tub, sauna and barbecue area, you can make yourself comfortable even in colder temperatures. We dream of returning to this little paradise in nowhere at some point ✨ Pasi was also a great host, always within easy reach and he gave us a number of great recommendations and tips ◡for this unforgettable time!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful mökki, with very helpful hosts. Peaceful, great sauna and it was fun to use the boat!

A great place for a family vacation. Cooking facilities like at home and in the sauna we got good steam. We roasted sausages on an outdoor fire, so we didn't have to go on a separate barbecue trip.

The cottage was neat and cozy, even better than in the pictures. The cottage was very versatile, because it had two different saunas, a hot tub, a jetty, a boat, a terrace, a hut, a barbecue area, a glazed terrace and three separate cottage buildings. The cottage was peaceful, the neighboring cottages were not visible and could not be heard. The equipment was great, from kitchen utensils to toys (there was no microwave, but otherwise everything necessary was found and more). We slept in the kitchen cabin's bedroom, and the room was dark enough even in June (blackout curtains). The glass doors of the glazed terrace open (passage through the section, the section has a mosquito net), and the glazed terrace area is completely protected from mosquitoes. The cottage had a useful instruction folder. The cottage was very clean. Anu communicated very kindly, proactively and informatively. In particular, the driving instructions were good.
