Peaceful family house, recommended for families especially.

We recently had the most wonderful summer break staying at this lovely, peaceful cottage in Melby. From the moment we walked in the front door, we felt ourselves relax. The cottage is beautifully decorated, kitchen is super well equipped and the beds are very comfortable - easily sleeping our 2 families. Outside, we loved using the pool, snoozing in the hammock and eating on the expansive deck in front of the outdoor fireplace. The cottage is a 10-15min walk to a pretty local beach and a short drive (or bike ride) to the pretty Liseleje Beach. Lots of fantastic restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. Christian and Pernille were brilliant hosts - easy to communicate with, always responsive and gave us great tips on what to see and do in the area. Thanks for a truly fabulous stay!

It's a very cozy house. We enjoyed our stay. The sauna can fit 2/3 people comfortably, but more than that is too tight. The location is great, it's at the same time private and also close to grocery stores, the beach, and coffee shops.

We stayed here with our three children. It has been recently refurbished with beautiful gardens and lots for the children to do. The pool and outside shower were highlights. The area is very tranquil and great for walks, but also easily commutable to Copenhagen. Thor and Line were very communicative and even left us flowers and a bottle of wine. We would love to stay here again, it is a very special place and definitely one of our favourite holidays. Thank you!

We had a great stay at this summerhouse! The pool and all the other amenities – including sauna, outdoor areas and kitchen – were really high quality and everything worked impeccably. The atmosphere and setting were perfect for a cozy and relaxed getaway with friends. The only small minus was that you had to bring gas to the grill yourself, which came as a surprise to all of us. It would be nice if it was mentioned more clearly in the description. All in all, a wonderful experience – we would love to come again!

We (couple with 8 year old daughter) spent a great week in the beautiful summer house. The house was actually even more beautiful than in the photos, very stylish with designer furniture and high-quality art on the walls, lovingly furnished and in an absolutely top location to the beautiful steep coast (with adventurous private stairs), where you can enjoy the picturesque sunset, but also great swimming. The kitchen is super equipped, with all that you need. The pool was the absolute highlight! It's not heated, but the sun does it wonderfully. The huge garden and peaceful surroundings were also very convincing. The area invites you to numerous activities, but you should definitely be mobile, because the local shopping is best to reach by bike or car. Janus is a very friendly and reliable host, communicating with him was always straightforward and prompt. Thank you for everything

Amazing super clean and beautiful accommodation with everything that could you need🌼🌼Everything was amazing and the location extra convenient close to the centre. The hot tub was the best experience during a cold evening ☺️The host was super kind and responsive. We will definitely come back!

I can't express how much we enjoyed our stay at Morten's summerhouse. The house is very comfortable and fully equipped with modern amenities. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. The garden is large and private. On top of that we loved the styling of the interior. There are two ferries to the island, we only used the one to Hammer-Bakke. It runs every 20 minutes and only takes 6-8 minutes to cross. At ±€15,- for a return ticket it might sound pricey but the convenience is absolutely worth it. It's a great place to stay if you want to visit Copenhagen but want a calm and quiet place to stay, surrounded by some beautiful nature. I can't recommend this place and Morten enough, we'd love to return someday.

We are 3 brothers who again returned to the lovely and quiet surroundings of North Zealand. The house is super cozy and there is everything you need to enjoy a holiday. So we won't take a trip again next year. In any case, it is recommended to book the house if you want to get up close to the beautiful nature and get all the way down at a pace. Best, Søren

Ann Charlotte’s place is cosy and in beautiful surroundings in Kikhavn, a lovely village by the sea. We spent a few days here to get away from the city and it was great. I worked remotely and the internet is very fast, no issues there. Ann Charlotte is very friendly and welcoming. While we were staying the heating went out but Ann Charlotte made sure we were comfortable and it didn’t bother us. The house and garden are lovely and quiet too. Highly recommend!

Line’s cottage is a poem, so beautiful and special. She is also a wonderful host, accommodating and friendly and gave us lots of great tips for exploring the city. She even greeted us with warm coffee and pastries.

We had a great stay at Martin and Carmen's place. The house was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Communication was smooth and they were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended hosts - I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything!

Henrik & Peter's Bellevue house is incredible! It is located on the highest point of Kulhuse and offers total privacy, the terrace and outdoor shower are both facing a little forest. There is also a barbecue on the terrace. The rooms are big, very bright and furnished with excellent taste. There is everything you will need both in the bathroom and in the kitchen. The living room offers you plenty of different cosy spaces, with nice sofas and chairs. The two bedrooms are also exceptional, with big windows, high quality beds and very nice furniture. On top of the quality of the house, Henrik & Peter are very sweet and helpful hosts. They came to greet us for check out and were very responsive during our stay. We really enjoyed our stay with our little dog Ruby as the garden is totally fenced. Thank you for a great stay! We will be back ☺️

We had a lovely time at Zenia’s cottage. We felt very welcomed by a handwritten note, a basket with goodies as well as the fresh flowers on the dining table. We had a couple of questions and Zenia was always quick to respond and very helpful. The cottage is perfect in size for a family, or two couples. It’s very tastefully decorated. The pictures matched reality and everything that was listed in the ad was also present. The garden is beautiful and private. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need for cooking at home. We would go back again.

We had a lovely stay in Lizas very cozy cottage. Nice to come to a "real" airBnB home with personality. We enjoyed both various games and access to the most basic foods. The location is nice with a short distance to the beach and nature. Communication was easy, fast and accommodating.

Anette was easy to reach before and during the stay and a great hostess! We were four adults and a baby and there was plenty of room for everyone. We felt completely comfortable in the house: It has a large garden with a beautiful view of the water and was perfectly equipped - especially in the kitchen, everything you need for cooking and seasoning was available. The beds are a little soft, but very comfortable. We were particularly pleased with the gas grill and the massage chair. It is only a few minutes' walk to the fjord, there is a jetty from which you can jump into the water and the area is very quiet and pleasant with many small summer houses. If you are looking for a relaxing short trip near Copenhagen, you are in the perfect place. Thank you Anette for the beautiful holiday!

It is a very nice modern summer house in a quiet area. Shops, the beach, nice playground, forest, restaurants is all close by. The house has all the comforts that made us feel at home quickly. Our children had a great time with the toys, the trampoline, slide and large garden. And as icing on the cake, a wonderfully heated bath in the garden. Definitely recommended!

It's our second time visiting Henry's lovely summerhouse. The first time was in the fall and this time in the winter. The house works super well both seasons, as you can enjoy the view of nature from the living room, where you can also warm up by the fireplace. The house is incredibly cozy with a very personal style, and then we are especially happy with the well-equipped kitchen, which provides good opportunities to make delicious meals during the stay. Henrik is a super good and friendly host, who always responds quickly to your messages, and who also goes to great lengths to make sure you have a great stay. Henry's house is definitely recommended - all year round - and we hope to come back another time :)

It was really a fantastic experience. It was the perfect place to gather my family and plenty of space for both large and small. It was bathed in the wild marble bath and then in the sauna and back again. They grilled, played, and had fun until the big gold medal. We were relatively lucky, but regardless, this cottage is a winner. It is all easy to use, clean and there is plenty of space both inside and outside, so there is room for both peace and play. Ponnier in addition to a field at sunset seen from inside a sauna ... Epic. And good communication with the host Michael both before, during and after. We would like to come back here and can really recommend this place in the strongest terms. :)

My boyfriend and I stayed for a few days early February. It warmed up before we arrived, so it was super delicious. Cozy cabin, especially the wood-burning stove, we enjoyed warming up. Amazing close to Tisvilde MTB tracks.
