Beautiful apartment, very well equipped. The kitchen has sufficient dishes in good condition, a coffee machine with capsules available and spices for cooking. Household and toilet linen are also provided. There's also a washing machine. A reserved parking space is highly appreciated. Claudia Luisa has small attentions like dropping off strawberries from the garden. She is very responsive to messages and her explanations are clear, including in the accommodation. And finally, this magnificent view from the living room and the small terrace where we watched part of the Funchal fireworks. Ideal location for visiting the island. Câmara de Lobos is pleasant in the evening for eating on a terrace and listening to music.

One month stay in this attic style apartment on top floor of a 4-storey building. It is well-equipped, very well supplied and well furnished. The two excellent terraces have good furniture, lovely views and are private. The apartment is a 2-minute walk to the pedestrian promenade that leads to the Lido area and Formosa Beach and 8 minutes to the main road, bus stops and a good supermarket. Beatrice (the host) responded quickly before and during the stay and Paulo (her local agent) was welcoming - and there were also some nice welcome gifts. The internet worked well in the main living space and one of the terraces. The apartment building was generally quiet; you can hear construction noise from the nearby Dubai Madeira development - but not disturbing. The AC was not effective. Beatrice responded positively to my concerns, provided a portable fan (which helped) and has advised that new AC units will be fitted. Overall, a very good apartment and I have booked to return.

Spotlessly clean apartment, met all our expectations. Fairly easy walk downhill to centre of Funchal. We managed the walk both ways everyday with relative ease and we are all 64 years plus. Local cafes before the centre very friendly and inexpensive for breakfast. All in all would highly recommend this appartment.

It was a great location to reach various hikes. The flat was very clean and it feels like home. The view is amazing :-)

This was our first visit to Madeira and Rita’s apartment could not be in a better location to access all the restaurants and bars in Funchal. Rita is a very kind and responsive host who was able to fit in check in around our flights- even when we were a bit delayed. The underground parking was an added bonus. The apartment is exactly as shown and is very spacious and perfect for two. Rita had left us some items in the fridge which was kind and she gave us lots of local recommendations. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment. Thank you Rita.

Super host - very responsive and provided excellent recommendations. Great location to explore on foot and by car. Parking no issue, and easy drive to airport. Apartment was tremendous. Balconies allowed us to have breakfast in the sun outside admiring the views. Walk into town about 15 mins down hill - not too strenuous. Lots of Ubers that were inexpensive, so easy to get about. We had x4 full days in Madeira which were full of activities. Palace Gardens and Levarda walks were excellent. Truly wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

We were very friendly received by Connie, who accompanied us, presented the accommodation and gave all the information we needed to have a pleasant stay. The accommodation is very well located, quiet, and offers stunning panoramic views of the mountain and the sea. Its large terrace allows you to rest in excellent conditions after the days of sightseeing. It is conveniently located for the various hikes, tours, restaurants and beaches that this beautiful island offers. Beautiful apartment nestled in the village of Jardim Do Mar. Had it not been for finding this AirBnB, we probably would not have found the area, but thankfully we did and got to experience the peaceful and calming village. Check in was really simple and was a matter of messaging Germano once arriving at the location. Germano’s dad is on hand and was the person who checked us in - he is very friendly. The apartment is a great value to say you have an almost private pool (shared with the apartment next door). We were given a bottle of red wine, a bowl of fresh fruit and a Poncha was ordered for us at the local bar, all were nice touches and made our stay feel special. I would definitely recommend the apartment!

Highly recommend, excellent location!

The check-in went well. We were very pleased and can recommend the apartment. Parking was available in the courtyard, otherwise it would have been bad to find a parking space. Next to the entrance was a small shop, also ideal. We felt very comfortable.

The airbnb was nice and clean. Location was also good. Host was also very helpful in providing information about Funchal.

Great apartment. Everything as described. Tip...bring some shower/bath gel or buy some locally. There was only little bottles of shampoo. This was to start you off when you arrived, but, if you feel like a shower after a long journey it would be nice to have just a couple of small bottles of gel just for the initial shower or bath. It was quite noisy when we stayed with very loud building works with an excavator loading and crashing rocks and boulders into the lorries and travelling right past the apartment loaded with all of those 🥺 This was at the front of the apartment, so although we couldn't use the balcony there: thankfully the bedroom was at the rear of the property, so a lie in was possible when the work started early in the morning. However, this may not be the case for any future guests as they may have finished the works before they arrive. Other than this problem, we had a great time on this beautiful island ( our 8th visit and our first time in self catering)

Can’t recommend enough. Clean, fantastic space, great location. Marina really helpful and always responsive. Well equipped kitchen with everything for meals in but equally a 10 minute drive into Funchal. The view from the apartment is beautiful and the location means everything is easily accessible. Supermarket across the road. We didn’t hire a car because the location was so great.
