In walking distance from the apartment you can find a number of restaurants, as well as discount supermarkets. In addition, next to the apartment run public bus every 20-30 min that drives direct downtown Reykjavik (15 min drive with the bus) and it is only about 15 min walk to the cosy towncenter of Hafnarfjordur.
