A beautiful, peaceful setting, with stunning views. Kathrin and her husband let us know when the northern lights appeared one evening and helped us with the settings on our i-phone so we could take the best pictures. Very appreciative or their help. We highly recommend their quiet cottage.

What an amazing place. The cottage is located in a beautigful fjord with an uncredibld view towards the sea and mountains partly covered in snow. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest. Highly recommend staying in this beautiful cottage as it is a great spot to chill, relax and have a great time with family and friends. We will be back. Thank you so much guys! An absolutely stunning lake side villa close to the famous Golden Circle. We used it as our base for a week to explore Iceland with friends. We were two families, with three children in total. The villa is simply stunning, so beautiful and the perfect home away from home. We all loved returning back in the evenings and enjoying the sauna and hot tub. Then the grown ups sat up late to take in the never ending sun outside, snuggled with blankets and fire pit for company. We lost track how many photos we all took of the lake. We also enjoyed our coffee in the morning over looking the lake and running the loop around the lake. Communication was excellent and Telma couldn't have been more responsive or helpful. We 100% recommend and will be back!

A beautiful and peaceful place in a neighborhood of new construction, far enough away from the crowd and tourists downtown but close enough to get there in 20min by car when desired. Easy access to the Golden Circle. Was perfect for my family and having two bathrooms was particularly nice. Communication was always quick and excellent.

I recently stayed at this fantastic Airbnb. The location was ideal, just a short drive from the city center, offering easy access to local shops and restaurants. The vibrant neighborhood was peaceful, making us feel right at home. The property itself was a standout, featuring impressive amenities. The fully equipped kitchen made meal prep a joy, with modern appliances and ample cookware at our disposal. The stylish living space, complete with a cozy couch and high-quality entertainment system, was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Fast Wi-Fi ensured we stayed connected when needed. The host was incredibly responsive, providing excellent recommendations for local dining and attractions.

Loved Karen’s place and Karen was very responsive with my questions and provided helpful solutions. Loved the area and location. Got all my steps in each day. Loved Iceland in general and will be going back. Wasn’t prepared for the daylight but worked with it.

We loved our stay! The accommodations were clean, comfortable, easy to find and park, and a quick walk to amazing restaurants and shops. My daughter loved having the playground across the street as well. Highly recommend.

We've stayed here twice now and again it's absolutely amazing, the scenery, the apartment, the host all amazing and nothing to complain about. one of the best places I've ever stayed at.

Clear instructions to find and get into the Kims apartment. The lockbox and door is clearly labeled. Right in downtown Reykjavík, we could walk to all the shops and everything we needed. The free parking lot in the back was perfect. The apartment is spacious and beautiful! We enjoyed reading through and adding to the guest book during our stay. Lydia is very kind, responsive, and we are happy to have found such a great spot for our last two days in Iceland to explore Reykjavik. There was no elevator which was the only downside.

Spectacular location, outstanding view from inside the unit and on the expansive outside terrace, and very comfortable inside as well. Very clear instructions to find and access the property, and dedicated/free parking which is so important and helpful to have in Reykjavik. So much to do right outside the front door, can't imagine a better jump-off point to experience all Reykjavik has to offer. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Jon’s Penthouse. It was easy walking distance to all the main sights in Reykjavik, plus there were many restaurants and groceries close by. Since there was an elevator to the fourth floor, it was easy to manage with luggage. Even though it is in the city, we never heard any noise. The apartment is very tidy and has all the amenities needed for a nice stay. We did not totally understand how to use the hot spot, but did not need it since we had eSIMs. Each evening we watched a variety of movies on Netflix, which were much appreciated. Although it was pleasant when we arrived at the end of May, by the beginning of June a huge storm arrived and it was so windy, I could barely stand when walking. However, Jon’s place is a warm and quiet oasis in a storm.

Meiner Freundin und mir hat es sehr gut in der Wohnung von Sigidur gefallen. Mit dem Auto war man in ca. 10 Minuten an der Hallgrimskirche. In der Nähe der Unterkunft gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und eine Bäckerei. Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus sind vorhanden.

This was a great place to stay during our time in Reykjavik. It’s very easy to get to everything the city has to offer, but it is far enough away from the city center to be a peaceful quiet place to stay. We had everything we needed and more here. I’m so glad we were able to stay here, and would highly recommend it!

This stay was such a highlight of our trip! We really enjoyed the location in a beautiful peaceful neighborhood, right next to the bike/ walking path that you can take into downtown. Helgi and Titti are the best hosts! We felt welcomed as if we were one of their neighbors. Such a joy to hang out in the garden and drink coffees and pet their dog :) they have lots of good local reccommendations. Can’t imagine a better place to stay either as a couple or a solo traveller- can’t wait to be back one day, a very special place.

We had an absolutr wonderful stay - great location and apartment and a good place to stat, both to explore Reykjavik but also as a base to get around the island with parking and amenities close by. An extra plus for the communication and how the host made sure we had arrived and enjoyed our stay. Can only recommend!

During the entire planning phase Hanna was very quick to respond even up to a year prior to the actual stay. During our stay she was more than helpful with any and all questions or concerns that we had. Overall would definitely stay here again. Made the trip that much better.

I cannot recommend this condo enough. This was a great place right outside of Reykjavík that allowed us to quickly go into town and provided a great jumping off point for our tours. The condo was welcoming and very clean - it is exactly how the photos and description describe it. The amenities were great, and the laundry was wonderful after long days. Also, Hannes was a phenomenal host. He allowed us to check in early because of an early morning flight, and was extremely responsive to any question I had. I cannot wait to return and rebook this condo. I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you Hannes for your hospitality!

Emilia’s place was clean, cozy, equipped with everything one might need for a short stay. It is close to two grocery stores. It was perfect for our family of five.
