A great place to stay, close to the water, great views! Very convenient to do trips to the golden circle and south coast and around Reykjavik. Thordis was also an excellent host with very good communication before and during our stay with good local recommendations. Her place was also very comfortable, clean and made us feel right at home!

We really enjoyed our stay at Eggert’s place! Rather small but clean and extremely cosy apartment with an elevator in a new buidling. The kitchen is well equipped (there is also a dishwasher) and the bed and linen are very comfy and you get plenty of fresh towels. The heating is strong and working very well. Highlz recommended!

We spent a week in the apartment rented by Dagna and it was a great time. The apartment is perfectly located on a hill with panoramic views of the city up to the ocean. There was a northern light outside the window one evening. Rather, it's for people with a car. The apartment is comfortable, you can feel at home. There are all the amenities you need. Dagny is a very communicative host. They respond quickly to messages and are helpful.

10/10. Maria and her family were wonderful hosts. From letting my children play with their pets to allowing us flexible check in and out due to our flight times, this listing is an absolute gem. Great water (drinking and bathing), beautiful yard, killer views. We saw the northern lights right from our windows multiple nights. I wish we could have stayed forever!

This was a wonderful stay. Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. It’s close enough to town that you can walk or opt for the bus. Ample free parking around as well. We would stay here again if given the opportunity.

Fabulous property and perfect for our family of five. Very comfortable, we felt right at home, loved the furnishings and cozy beds. The location was very convenient to making day trips, close to groceries, and an easy drive to downtown Reykjavik. Nice views from the balcony, super quiet neighborhood. My family and I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb. The location was perfect—close enough to downtown, but still in a quiet, peaceful area. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed to feel comfortable. We also loved the thoughtful touches throughout the house, from cozy blankets to the coffee pots. This place made our trip even more memorable.

What an amazing place. The cottage is located in a beautigful fjord with an uncredibld view towards the sea and mountains partly covered in snow. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest. Highly recommend staying in this beautiful cottage as it is a great spot to chill, relax and have a great time with family and friends. We will be back. Thank you so much guys! Nice house in in good area, a lot of space and light. Many games and toys for kids! 10 min by walk to the bus terminal.

Comfortable bed, good shower, nice patio if the weather had permitted. Good location for visiting the Golden Circle and South Coast. Grocery store very close.

Good place to stay near downtown.

An absolutely stunning lake side villa close to the famous Golden Circle. We used it as our base for a week to explore Iceland with friends. We were two families, with three children in total. The villa is simply stunning, so beautiful and the perfect home away from home. We all loved returning back in the evenings and enjoying the sauna and hot tub. Then the grown ups sat up late to take in the never ending sun outside, snuggled with blankets and fire pit for company. We lost track how many photos we all took of the lake. We also enjoyed our coffee in the morning over looking the lake and running the loop around the lake. Communication was excellent and Telma couldn't have been more responsive or helpful. We 100% recommend and will be back!

Loved Karen’s place and Karen was very responsive with my questions and provided helpful solutions. Loved the area and location. Got all my steps in each day. Loved Iceland in general and will be going back. Wasn’t prepared for the daylight but worked with it.

Love the place. Cozy apartment with great space. Easy check in and multiple options for parking. Really surprise by the quick response from Elias. Usually travel with my family a couple times a year staying always in Airbnbs and this is the first I stayed with a portfolio with recommendations from Elias of places to go: explore, eating, instructions of the apartment and education of every place to visit in the area. Wanna congrats Elias for the amazing extra job. Definitely my recommendation for friends and family for the future.

We stayed at Gunnar’s apartment for a week during our visit to Reykjavík. The location was good and pretty central to restaurants and attractions we wanted to visit. We did rent a car which made travel much easier and the parking was abundant and not too expensive. The apartment itself was clean overall although some areas had some dust. No complaints here, it wasn’t a big deal. Gunnar did advertise that the apartment house(d) two cats but as someone with cat allergies I had no problem with any fur or cat dander. FYI, across Iceland the hot water is heated geothermically which gives off a sulfur smell, so don’t be alarmed. Thanks Gunnar, for allowing us to stay at your apartment during the week! Ken + Jenn

Great stay. Plenty of space and a wonderful location. Recommend if you plan to rent a car and day trip from the city because dedicated parking. Was very comfortable and would stay again.

The Airbnb was easily accessible and well equipped with washing machine, dryer and fully equipped kitchen. There was also a designated parking spot for your vehicle. Magnus was responsive and extremely helpful in answering any queries. Would recommend this place

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a great amount of space for our family to spread out after so much plane and car time. Comfy couch, lots of table space, free of clutter, soft beds, nice bathroom, kind host, close to grocery store, it was just what we needed and a good price.

We had a great stay at Unnur's apartment. It was a perfect base for our adventures around Reykjavik. The location was very close to downtown (10min drive), walking distance to the Sky Lagoon (highly recommended) and having free parking was a lovely amenity. The apartment itself was lovely - bright, clean and well appointed - and the host, Unnur was excellent - very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a nice quiet location just outside of the city centre.

The apartment was exactly as described and immaculate. But what I liked best was that it was in a tranquil neighborhood with outstanding views across a bay and easy access to downtown. Once I drove downtown, once I walked along the bay and once I took a chance on a scooter (very easy path to follow, but since that was my first ride ever, it was harrowing!). I appreciated that Kjartan made my stay exceptionally easy - most of my questions (what’s the WiFi password, where’s the nearest grocery store, etc) were answered in advance, and then again in a helpful booklet in the apartment. Thank you, Kjartan, for a fantastic stay in Reykjavik!
