What a great stay we had in das Zwergstübchen! It is a cute cottage with a cozy decor. We didn't lack anything here. In addition, the cottage has a good location. When you step outside, you immediately feel like you are in nature. At the same time, villages with a supermarket/bakery/restaurant are a short distance away. Hostess Patricia helped us excellently where we had questions. She is always available and helpful. We'd love to come back sometime!

Helmut’s place features a serene garden and immediately put us at ease the moment we entered the house. The charming antique design added character to the home, and we throughly enjoyed every detail. The neighborhood was equally peaceful and we absolutely loved the area. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here!

The property is at a great location with the main square at a walkable distance. Parking is available right in front of the house. The house is very clean and adequately furnished. We really enjoyed our stay.

I stayed with Christa for motorcycle tours through the Black Forest and could hardly have done better! You felt at home, the surroundings were beautiful and the accommodation was great for my tours. Til next time!

Clean, quiet, and welcoming accommodation. 30 minutes from europapark so very convenient. Only downside there was no curtain for the windows at night (there was only one in the master bedroom). So the light goes by early in the morning and prevents you from sleeping. Other than that, it was great!

We loved our stay in Gengenbach, and we believe a lot of it has to do with our stay here! the location was perfect, tucked away in the historic old town, bur an easy 5 minute walk from the train station. it was an easy check in and so clean once we arrived. Our host was also very quick to respond and understanding of our special requests.

The accommodation is a 10 in everything. The views from the balcony are spectacular. Everything is very clean. The host is very quick to respond. The apartment is very nice and there is also a parking space reserved for you at the street door. The town where it is located is also very beautiful. Thank you very much Dominic!!!

We felt very comfortable with Petra. We experienced her as a very warm and helpful hostess. The apartment was clean, very nice and tastefully furnished and the kitchen was very well equipped. The garden offered shade and our kids had space to play ball or to "water". Tripptrapp and baby bed were also provided - wonderful!

Staying with Beate was great! Communication with her always went smoothly and she was always there to help you. Glad to come back!

My daughter and I were very grateful that we found a place to stay near Europapark at such short notice (the same day). The communication with Waltraud was prompt and the handling went smoothly. Beautiful holiday apartment! Everything was perfect from the start. Eunice is a fantastic host and we felt welcome even before arriving at the Pine Cone Loft as she provided us with all the relevant information well in advance. The apartment is pristine, luxurious and the views over the forest from the balcony and from the kitchen are breathtaking. The kitchen had everything you need including coffee and tea. Even the bathroom is equipped with shampoo, shower gel and lots of towels. Eunice was very patient with our rescue dog who was a bit nervous at first. Everything is very dog friendly, the dog house rules are easy to follow and there even was a water bowl and mat for our dog. The whole apartment was very clean and we felt immediately at home. The area is beautiful and quiet and right on the hiking trails. Baden-Baden very close and easy to reach within 10 minutes by car. Eunice has so many great tips about the area and is always there to help if you need anything. 100% recommend!

What nice and active hosts Iris and Bernard are! They had good tips about the bike route along the canal to Strasbourg and about the swimming lake 2 km away. The apartment is very pleasant: spacious, bright and cozy. The delicious bed makes it complete. Outside, you can sit in the seat under the blue rain, overlooking the cozy and beautifully planted garden. Shops 1 km away and a good Italian restaurant next door (reserve, because it is busy!).

We felt very lucky to stay in this historic home, which was bulit in 1817 and set in a quiet, peaceful street with other homes of similar vintage. The interior maintains the charm of yesteryear but offers all the modern comforts one could need. We really appreciated our hosts who were there when we needed but also privacy, so we felt completely at home. The easy 30 min cycle to and from Strasbourg each day, past farmland and along the canal was a great way to experience the area.

Nice spacious studio in the middle of the Black Forest. The studio is located on the ground floor of the hosts house, near the main road of Mitteltal, which was ideally located to start hikes and bike rides. With the Schwarzwald Plus card you can also use the bus for free to go to the start of hikes/activities in the region. Mitteltal has one very little supermarket and some bakeries and restaurants in walking distance (5-10 min). If you want some more options, Baiersbronn has some bigger supermarkets and more restaurants in 10 min by car. The sauna was a very nice addition on the rainy days. The bed was comfortable, the studio was very quiet and dark with the roller shutters down. The shower was also very nice. The host was very friendly and informative. We appreciated the parking spot in front of the house and the fact that we could park our racing bikes in the garage. We would recommend this studio for a peaceful trip to the Schwarzwald.

A great place to stay and enjoy the region. You can stay at home, cook some food, enjoy some wine, the nice view from the terrace and some animals around. Or you can go and explore the region because there is lots to do. You will get advice and tips from the kind hosts and they will leave you to it. Such a nice place and a perfect accommodation to stay for a while. Just mind your head every now and then because of the ceiling 😉 Would totally recommend!
