Apartment holiday rentals in Girdwood, Anchorage

We rented the top and bottom of this place for a group of us to attend a wedding! We had a great time. The place was clean and convenient. Very walkable to Aleyeska mountain, the spa as well as all of Girdwood’s favorite restaurants. We had a great trip there and would recommend it!

Thanks to Chloe and the homeowner my husband and I got to experience a great 20 days here. Everything was provided, down to even the coffee and cooking oil.

Vicki was so helpful from the beginning I needed to change the booking date and she totally accommodated me. The apartment is so beautiful and seemed brand new. High end kitchen and furniture. We needed salt and a blender and she brought it right away. Vicki and her husband made us feel at home. We would return and totally recommend the Blue Heron

Beautiful home, wonderful views with a private deck high in the trees for us to relax on after a busy day! So close to base and shopping but very quiet and peaceful in the home. We will definitely stay here again!

Nice location and space. Quiet location. Space was clean and comfortable. Convenient location, close to downtown, convenient to get to other places. Would help if you have a car.

Julia and her family were very welcoming and friendly. She was very responsive and proactive as possible if an issue or concern arose. Best view of Denali from Anchorage we had was on the back porch! Being in AK we wanted to be in the mountains. We loved this location because it was easy access to Anchorage and the highways, but still in the mountains.

Janna was an amazing host ! We loved her place. All comforts that you want to feel cozy and at home…fuzzy blankets, a nice fan, filtered water pitcher, ice, kitchen essentials. We were able to airplay to the TV. Anytime we looked for something (coasters, beer glasses etc) it was right there! She takes a lot of care and consideration in her condo. After a long day we were able to get right in with super clear instructions from Janna and have peaceful night of sleep. The building is older but super well maintained and charming. We felt very safe. 10/10 just book, so much better than a hotel !!

Great place to stay. Quiet and a little out if the way but still in the city. Very nice on the inside as well.

We enjoyed staying at Jacob’s. It was really cool walking onto the back porch and watching two young moose and their mom having an early morning walk.

I want to say my only negative was the comfort of the bed. It would suffice for younger people but not adults. The place is very new and the construction is unfortunately not higher quality. We could hear the people walking above us easily. No other noise. However it was precisely what we needed. I felt safe. It had amenities to cook and do laundry as needed. The check in and check out process was easy. We did not hear any other noise from people. I would stay again but I'm hoping they get a new bed! It had blankets and plenty of pillow options. Huge fridge and big washer/dryer. I gave all 5 stars because it really was a great place! Easy to get on major highways too.

It was a real pleasure to spend time in this apartment, whose location is really pleasant. The apartment was overall clean, from the kitchen to the bathroom, including the bedrooms and living room. In particular, the bedsheets and towels were clean and spotless. The apartment was functional. WiFi, TV, washing machine and dryer were all functional - we did not test the dishwasher. The beds and sofa were comfortable. We really appreciated the little touches offered by the hosts, e.g., new sponge, new bottles of dish soap, hand soap, new shampoo and conditioner, make-up remover, toothbrush with toothpaste, cotton tips, menstrual kits. Board games and books were also provided, a real +++ when traveling with family or friends. The hosts were very friendly and responsive, attentive to any needs we might have. We highly recommend this apartment.

We loved this cozy apartment! It was beautifully decorated, and so spacious. We will definitely stay here again on future trips to Anchorage!

Troy’s place was wonderful. Clean, comfortable, and well-positioned in airport. He was a kind host and was more than welcoming. We enjoyed the stay!

Space was beautiful. Only caution I would throw out there would be the fact that there are not blackout curtains that cover the windows. This time of year the sun is up most of the day and it doesn’t really get dark. Other than that the space was great. Easy walking distance to several restaurants and the market.

Lots of room inside. The hot tub was amazing, just what we needed. Back yard is fenced in, great if you have young kids or a dog. Smart TV’s in each room. Everything you would need for a stay. We would definitely stay again.

Ellie’s place was amazing! Very responsive and was very kind in allowing a later than expected same day booking!! Truly a life saver. In addition the place had amazing resources for exploring the area, it was extremely clean, and the bedroom got super dark which is such a bonus in Anchorage! Thanks Ellie!

Very clean and quiet place, in nice neighborhood!!

This Airbnb is very conveniently located to lots of fun things to do. We highly recommend backcountry adventures in Palmer. We rode ATVs to the Knik glacier which was truly fantastic. The neighborhood is quiet and surrounding mountains, which you see all around, are stunning. We made use of the hot tub, which was nice after an active day, and it was fun having a ping pong table. We would definitely stay here again

We had a fantastic stay, and I highly recommend place to anyone with a small family or group! It was perfect for attending the 3 barons renaissance fair right down the road. As a vendor I had weird hours but they were very accommodating and didn't seem to mind us arriving late at night.
