Family-friendly holiday rentals in Girdwood, Anchorage

Simon's place is such a gem and Simon is a wonderful host. We love staying there and walking right up to the ski lift!

Our family of nine really enjoyed our stay at Wendy's place. There are several things that are not common in a vacation rental. Our sons immediately picked up the guitar and also started playing the piano. Our grandson's favorite thing was the ice cream maker. (It might have been mine too!)

We had a wonderful stay here! Location was really convenient for so many things! Not in the best part of town but it’s tucked back enough into a little neighborhood that felt safe. Our kids loved the close proximity to a cool park, the fenced in yard and hot tub was obviously a big hit! The house was very spacious, so many beds, was great for a group. The house is stocked!!! You can tell it’s been truly lived in, not just whipped together as a rental. Everything was clean, and comfortable.

Awesome place in a good location for many of the activities and restaurants in Girdwood! Darcie was super responsive and helpful!

Jon’s place is perfect for locals and tourists! It has everything you need, wonderful hiking trails, skiing for the winter, and an amazing hot tub for the evening!

This was the perfect getaway for a ski trip! Wendy was extremely communicative, which I really appreciated. She gave really clear instructions and tips. We were warm, comfortable and had everything we needed!

Great place to stay. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of room for everyone. Although we had older teens, this was a great place to stay with youth and if you have young kids this place would be perfect too. Everything was according to the description and pictures.

The space was cozy yet spacious, with a great washer and dryer, adjustable desk, comfortable bed, fast WiFi, and a hot shower. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The highlight at Gorgeous West Anchorage Hideout was the outdoor space and watching my pup and the yard’s chief aficionado Honey Bear, race around the yard. The yard was entirely fenced providing a friendly and whimsical private outdoor space, filled with flowers and chirping birds and a pergola and tall hovering trees at the fenceline. There was even more privacy found on the covered porched area right outside of the hideout, away from the main yard. We spent 3 nights sleeping well inside the hideout. It is spacious and full of amenities, including kitchen area and washer and dryer. Very clean, well decorated with local artists and live plants to soothe the soul. The neighborhood was walkable. The big city of Anchorage is close by bustling with fun and exploration but there was a sense of solitude in this space to offer balance. Thanks Honey Bear !

Loved the fact that it has its own little garden section with fireplace and outside seating. This venue suited our needs well and we had a wonderful stay. Great amenities provided and thoughtful welcome with free bag of coffee included. There is a bedroom downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs that are set apart either side of an open section in the middle above where the living room is. They each have a half height wall that faces towards this middle void making it open plan, just something to consider if any of your party prefer privacy.

The place was easily walkable to everything downtown and the apartment was stocked with bagels, coffee, juices and all the necessary items for a few night stay. Would recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Bridget’s place. Bridget is an outstanding host. Her place is supplied with anything you could possibly need. She reached out to us before we arrived and recommend Fletchers for a late night dinner. Using her bikes to do the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail. Was a wonderful experience. At the end of our stay, I asked if we could store our bags. Instead, she offered a late check out. I highly recommend staying with Bridget.

John place was just as described, we felt right at home. John is a nice host and responded right away. Location was great in the middle of town close to a lot of places that we went to. I would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Martin's place. It was conveniently located close the airport, it was quiet, clean and comfortable. I have stayed in many Airbnbs but none as well appointed as this one. The breakfast items were so very appreciated. I high recommend Martin's place.

The place was great and will definitely stay there again if it’s available when I’m back in town.
