Had a beautiful weekend in the cottage. Bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed the coffee bar, and the kitchen was perfect for cooking in. The shower felt great, hot and good flow. Couldn’t beat the location in great communication with the host. Can’t wait to go back.

The workshop was absolutely charming and exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, Gail's personalized welcome signs made my pup and I feel instantly at home. The craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the space were truly impressive, and the cozy ambience made it even better than the photos. Gail was incredibly attentive and communicative throughout our stay which is always greatly appreciated. Will be coming here again when we're in the area :). I highly recommend the workshop to anyone looking for a cozy retreat.

We loved our stay. Everything was as described and shown in the photos. Great location, easy to walk to town and restaurants as well as numerous hiking and nature nearby.

We had a very nice stay. You could tell there was a lot of thought put in to making guests feel comfortable, accommodated and informed. The location was perfect and within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beautiful lake.

I can’t say enough about David’s place. This little cottage has all the feelings of home. It’s super cozy and has a great location. The view is stunning from the deck. David was great about communicating with me and responding to questions. I hope to be able to return to Lake Tahoe someday and I will definitely look into staying here again. Bev and Rod are both exceptionally friendly and accomodating hosts. I had brought along a to-go dinner and bottle of wine; then it turned out that when I arrived Rod was at the BBQ making their dinner. So I was able to enjoy wonderful company with my evening meal - on their beautifully paved open patio surrounded by an amazing garden, while having someone with whom to share a glass or two of wine. The acommodations were also impressive, in what I learned is a former town bakery. My room for the night, its little kitchenette, and the bathroom, are without question professionally finished by a master craftsman, and decorated in an interesting artistic and unique welcoming manner. The little table in the bay window with a log hewn bench was especially fun. And a delightful side patio with a second private exit expanded their property's gardens to wonderfully enhance my experience staying here. Overall, I could not have wanted for a nicer stay.

We had a great stay at The Mini Retreat! The location was easy to access, and check-in was seamless. There was plenty of street parking available, and the neighborhood felt very safe and quiet. Despite being a tiny home, the space felt surprisingly spacious and thoughtfully designed! The amenities were great, the home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, the place was spotless, and it even had a kitchen which was a big plus for us. We definitely recommend this cozy spot to anyone looking for a unique and convenient stay!

this was such a luxurious, relaxing stay! sparkling clean, smelled fresh and looked like no one had ever stayed before me. there’s perfectly placed storage for everything, beautiful applinces, a dreamy shower and extra comfy + cozy furniture. you can open it up to feel even bigger with the patio, i enjoyed most of my meals and wine out there with a book. this space was a reprieve for me with enough nature to relax without committing to being outdoorsy. the property as a whole is beautiful and secluded while remaining conveniently located— i love having the combination of privacy but a nearby host as a solo traveler to feel comfortable. do yourself a favor and stay here with your partner, bestie or take a solo couple days off like i did. PS — any plant based friends MUST try Blossom & Root in downtown Danville, amazing food and drinks!

Absolutely loved our stay at the snug shack! The cabin is beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you need. We really enjoyed the swimming Lake nearby and Calaveras State Park. Perfect location for a weekend getaway.

The cabin was super cozy and well supplied for self sufficiency if you want to stay in and cook a nice meal. Also the hosts were both very welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommending to my friends and family.

Perfect for a couple or a single traveler, the hosts have thought of everything! The cottage is exactly as it looks but cuter and more thoughtful in person than can be described in words or pictures. Absolutely everything you might need is there from snacks and drinks to plentiful towels and linens to lovely indoor and outdoor spaces. This no cookie cutter hotel room with corporate decor. Everything appears to have been selected piece by piece to create a beautiful, comfortable space that provides for all that a traveler might need. There is also a lovely outdoor area for al fresco dining or peaceful sunbathing just behind the cottage. The fresh cut flowers and home-baked treats set our stay apart. And with a husband who is a neat freak, the cottage exceeded our expectations for a pristine stay. The cottage is located an easy five-minute walk from Main Street or 1-minute drive to town. The idyllic, peaceful setting is perfect for those who want a home away from home while travelling.

Our stay at Matt’s cabin was nothing short of magical — a true core memory for our family. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The location is absolutely perfect — we were able to hike right from the front door to a beautiful trail Matt recommended in his check-in book, and even swam in the nearby river. Back at the cabin, we made the most of the wonderful amenities. My kids had a blast riding Matt’s family’s bikes up and down the quiet street, and we ended each day grilling rib eyes on the deck while taking in the stunning mountain view. Mornings were spent sipping coffee on that same deck: peaceful, cozy, and unforgettable. Inside, the thoughtful touches continued. My kids discovered the convenient desk tucked away in the master closet and used it to draw pictures of our trip and work on puzzles from the charming green cabin downstairs. Every little detail made the stay feel special and comfortable. Matt was a gracious and communicative host, highly recommend

Buck’s place was exactly what we were looking for. It is nice and private, we loved the outdoor shower, our kiddo loved the lofts, and our dog loved all the sniffing and exploring. The pools/falls right down the road were magical and a special treat! It’s a great location for exploring the area.

We absolutely loved this cozy cabin and had everything we needed for an awesome stay! Gina was very responsive and provided incredibly helpful local recommendations and check in/check out info. Shower room was great, kitchen had the basics as described. Location is way up in the mountains on a very private road but still close to both Oakhurst and Bass Lake for shopping/restaurants. About a 40 min drive to the southern entrance of Yosemite. Thanks for a peaceful getaway!
