Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Golden Valley

It was a beautiful space & very spacious as well! It felt much bigger than what the photos even looked like. Everything was super easy to use, it’s a very safe and beautiful neighborhood and great location, you are so close to everything with a max 15 mins. Mycah was so friendly & checked in on us every day to make sure we were taken care of, she was a great host & we definitely want to come back here again!!

Staying with Judy was like staying with a friend. She's an amazing lady with a gorgeous house in a beautiful neighborhood. Judy has a way with dogs. Our two can be standoffish with other humans, but they took to Judy as if they were old friends. Judy went out of her way to make the dogs comfortable, and we appreciate it! If you need to stay near Minneapolis or the western suburbs - with or without dogs - you won't regret booking with Judy.

Their place is really well taken care of and in a great area! We loved the neighborhood, and the apartment is thoughtfully furnished and stocked. The community is quiet but active, and it’s really prime for foodies and easy to get to everything. Heidi was very quick to respond to every need and treated us like valued guests. We would very much like to return.

Nami’s place is close to plenty of grocery stores by foot or bus, the bus stop is right around the corner which is very convenient. Safe suburban neighborhood with beautiful scenery, it takes about 20-30min bus ride to uptown. It’s easy to get help since Paul works from home, their dog is super friendly! I also met her family members time from time when they stayed for dinner. It’s pretty spacious in the basement, and they have everything you need stored.The backyard is absolutely divine in the summer!

Comfortable and safe place to stay in St. Louis Park Minneapolis. Close to shopping, park areas, bike and walking trails. Daughter and family live nearby so this was very convenient. This was the second time we have stayed here, and the host is wonderful. Stocked well with toilet paper, paper towels, coffee filters etc. Kitchen is well equipped with gas stove and oven, microwave, and full sized refrigerator. Herb garden right outside the kitchen window! Bonus is washer and dryer in basement so this is a great place for an extended stay. We stayed more than a month. Loved the vintage bathroom! Highly recommend for this part of Minneapolis.

My companions and I were very pleased with the home. It looks better in person. Our regrets are that we didn't spend enough time at the house to partake in the pickle ball court across the street(there are paddles at the home). Also not enough time at the home to relish in the back patio/ deck just a few feet from a large a pond behind the home (beautiful view), plenty of yard to play frisbee or some other game in. The home was very clean, spacious, more space than we could use. Everything you'll need (i.e. appliances etc.) the home has. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Thank you!

Only stayed one night but the rooms were very clean. The area was very quiet and felt safe. Harold and Michon were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

One of the rare times I felt the place looked better than the photos! I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely book again when in Minneapolis. I felt right at home, it was clean, comfortable bed, easy check-in. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, the university, Stone Arch Bridge. Very good value for the price I paid. Note that there isn’t a washer/dryer in unit, rather the building had a room, use quarters.

Sara's place was beautiful, private and clean. In a nice neighborhood close to everything. She was also super sweet, helpful and responsive. The ideal place to stay if you need a peaceful getaway!

Quiet restful haven in the trees, well furnished with everything you'd need and nice appliances. Great responsive hosts. Be aware that unless you're running background fans or a sound machine you will likely hear the nearby trains sounding their horns at all hours of the night.

We got in later than expected and were greeted with a basket full of snacks. The place was so comfortable and spacious. If we're are ever in the area we will stay with Mark again. Highly recommend.

This location was fantastic for our family of 3! The home is lovely, immediately felt comfortable and we were able to enjoy the outdoor deck area so much! For families, this is a fantastic location. 2 blocks to the beach, one block to nice park on a quiet street and the hosts were amazing at having the home baby proofed and ready for our arrival. Overall, it was the little touches and kind hosts that make this place truly stand out, can’t wait to visit again!

We had a great stay at Parkview! We picked it for its location and amenities, but found it was very charming with a fun story behind the house. Everything was in excellent condition and functional. Thanks John!

Really cozy place to stay in a great location! Definitely would return. Being able to park off of the street was a huge plus, and the provided coffee and snacks were a very nice touch that made us feel like we were at "home" away from home.

We loved our stay at this charming, clean and comfortable unit. The location was great, close to the Macalester campus, coffee shops and other local spots. Also Jean-Claude was a responsive and kind host. We would definitely come back!

This place was exactly what we needed. Super responsive hosts (within 10 min every time!). We felt right at home. Fast WiFi for work, beautiful and great location for restaurants, bike paths and even some clubs near by. We were very happy with our stay. Can’t wait to stay again.

My husband and parents and I were in town for the weekend to visit our daughter. The area was perfect and centrally located for us. The condo was clean and well kept. Jason was very responsive to questions I had regarding parking. I just wish the weather would have nicer to use the outdoor deck! I would say the only downfall (and no fault of the owner) is that it was a bit noisy at night with people outside. However, when going to a city that is expected.

Karen’s place had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like home. The park right in front of the house made evening walks especially enjoyable. I’d recommend it to other guests!

We had an excellent stay at Lisa's beautiful home! It is on the ground floor but there are some stairs to reach it (back door has 6 steps down), which Lisa kindly let me know prior to booking. The location is extremely convenient and quiet, the neighborhood seemed very safe and private as well. Lisa's home was pristine with plenty of supplies for cooking and plenty of places to sit and relax. The bed was super comfortable, on the softer side but still supportive and there were black out curtains in every room which let us sleep very well. The bathroom was spotless with soft towels and Lisa had very thoughtfully left some small amenities such as toothbrushes and make up wipes etc which was an extra kind touch. The decor was awesome with lots of books and art and Lisa had left little notes everywhere explaining how her home worked and also giving interesting information! I would stay again and would highly recommend! Thank you so much again Lisa!!

We had a great stay at Marie's. We appreciated the unexpected bonus of being able to check in a bit early. There was ample space and it was a unique building. We enjoyed eating dinner on the back porch and walking to get breakfast and Italian pastries. We'd absolutely stay again.
