Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Gond-Pontouvre

Very nice and large new house. We found everything we needed. The bedding is super comfortable! And we had a garage to store our bikes! Too bad the road is so noisy very early in the morning... but we would gladly come back to finish the visit of Angoulême! Very beautiful city, by the way!

This was a lovely place to stay, as detailed in the description. We stayed for a week and the kids loved having a pool. The owners dog does roam in the garden, which our kids were a bit afraid of but the owners did try to call her back in. The other thing to note is that the property is very close to a train line so you hear the trains. We really enjoyed our stay with David and Corinne, they were on hand when we needed to ask things but even when they use their garden you don’t feel like they are intruding. We would definitely stay again.

Julie was very friendly. The apartment is very spacious with a very big garden. It was very quiet and I slept like a baby because the bed was great. I am definitely recommending the place to anyone who loves being close to nature. It is also very walkable from the apartment to downtown Angoulême (around 15 mins).

We had a great time at Andrea's house. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The house is tastefully decorated and comfortable to stay in. Andrea's explanations allow for a simple and self check-in. We had a pleasant time. I recommend it.

Charming and very accommodating hosts (Jean-Gabriel and his wife). Perfect accommodation, corresponding in every respect to the description, very clean (visibly new accommodation) and perfectly equipped, top bedding, individual air conditioning in each bedroom (each bedroom having its own private bathroom) and in the living/dining room, a very nice terrace. You don't need to bring anything with you, because you'll find everything you need... the kindness of the hosts as a gift! Frankly, it's one of the top three AirBnB homes I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in "a few".... Thanks both of you 👍

We had a pleasant stay . The cottage is very well located (close to the castle of the pouyade) in a small picturesque hamlet and especially very quiet. Vincent is a very charming host, the welcome was great I recommend this rental 👍

The appartment is fantastic. Stylish and comfortable with everything you need. Its within easy reach of shops, places to eat or just sit and have a coffee, the market, walks by the river and there are bus stops close by, but its quiet at night too. The cottage is superb, with its old stones full of charm, set in the middle of a green setting, not to mention its swimming pool and its "guinguette" which allow you to enjoy real moments of conviviality with peace of mind. We spent a very pleasant week here. The flat is well located for touring the area and has good amenities in walking distance. The size is good and everything we needed was there. The secure parking was very useful. Sylvain was a great host, very responsive.

Everything is there! Worthy of a 4-star hotel. It's quiet and peaceful. The view of Angouleme is superb, the terrace and secure parking are real plus. The neighborhood is excellent: train station and media library less than 5 minutes walk. Historic center 15 minutes walk or a shuttle passes very close to the building to get you there for free! Less than 5 minutes away: the river, its natural path, a very pleasant sports course, the guinguette with an excellent atmosphere. You will find all the local services as well as various restaurants and merchants all very helpful. Great stay!
