Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Groveton

This place was perfect! The term cozy is an understatement. From the yard and throughout the home this place was so welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking needs. The bathroom was spotless and the heated floors were glorious. Best 3 nights sleep we have had on this road trip. my husband was ready to steal the mattress and linens. Our pups loved the large fenced in yard.

This home is in a very nice neighborhood tucked away and with in walking distance to UMD. There are stairs to get in and barstool height chairs. It is well furnished and very comfortable. The hosts were friendly and very helpful! I enjoyed 2 of their recommendations for dinner out! Great stay and highly recommend!

We loved Heather and Axle’s Cozy House in Alexandria, Virginia. The name fits the house! It has a loving welcome feeling to it. You feel like it’s a home away from home!Heather and Axle were quick to respond to our questions. We went into Washington DC to visit a few museums that were on our bucket list. Heather and Axle recommended a list of restaurants. They did not steer us wrong. The food was amazing! We loved our stay so much we stayed an extra day! Highly recommend this wonderful home!

The place was great and close by anything you want to do in D.C. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

We just got back from Jackie's Place! The home was beautifully decorated and clean. It is private, but also close to the best that Alexandria has to offer! We loved walking to coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. We were there to visit colleges for my son and were surprised how close we were to DC and Georgetown. Having the parking spot was also great. We could just leave the car and walk everywhere. Thank you for a great stay!

Eric’s place is wonderful in a very quaint neighborhood! Communication with Eric was excellent. The home is very comfortable and accommodating for families and large groups visiting. We were in town checking out the DC sites and the proximity from the home to the Glenmont Metro was close and easy. The kitchen is well equipped with just about every appliance or cooking utensil you could need to whip up a meal. There’s two washer and dryers and plenty of towels which is really convenient for large groups. The backyard hot tub was nice for relaxing especially after a 20,000 step day exploring DC (phew!) I would most definitely recommend this home and host!

A quiet space with lovely garden view, just as described in the listing. The hosts were very responsive, quick to address the minor issues I had, and friendly without being intrusive. In addition to the many good points mentioned in reviews by previous guests, I especially appreciated the nightlights in the apartment and the outdoor lighting along the walkway. I hope this place is available the next time I'm in the area!

Rebecca’s place was much bigger than we expected and had everything we needed. So happy that our dogs were able to stay with us! Beautiful, quiet neighborhood with a path nearby that lead to a playground and area to walk our dogs. Will definitely stay again!

John and Adam were excellent hosts. There were very responsive to my questions and issues. I loved the grounds and very well stocked kitchen. I would gladly stay there again.

We were so happy with this basement apartment and location. Robert was very helpful and responsive. Most days we drove to the mall parking garage near the Pentagon and took the metro from Pentagon City station to the Smithsonian station (the pre-loaded $30 card available online was perfect for our stay). Driving from the unit to Arlington took mere minutes. It isn't too far from Mt. Vernon either. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. We would stay here again! The current pictures under sell the unit. We were very happy to find it was bigger than expected. It could use a little updating, but we didn't mind. All we did was sleep, eat some breakfast, and return each night with aching feet and legs from a typical day of walking D.C.

Wonderful stay! Elizabeth was quick to answer questions and made sure we had a great stay. Lovely place, had everything we needed and more. I was so thankful to have a washer and dryer since we had been traveling for so long. Elizabeth even had a washing machine pod for us. Would definitely stay again!

My family and I spent the weekend in Washington, D.C., and we were fortunate to find Emily's place at the last minute after our previous arrangements fell through. It was a wonderful experience, and the hosts were lovely people! The only challenge we encountered was the noise in the early hours of the day. However, I don't consider this a complaint; it's just something to keep in mind when booking a co-living space. We discussed the possibility of noise with Emily beforehand, so again, it's something to be mindful of. Overall, meeting this interesting and cool family and their dog Charlie was a good experience and an absolute pleasure!

I stayed at Smirna's place with my fiance and sister for a few days and it worked well for three adults. The space was comfortable, well equipped, and very well maintained. Check-in was a breeze. The location is an easy drive from the Dulles airport and has good access to the highway into downtown DC as well as the DC metro and a number of nice suburban communities. The spot was perfect for us and I would recommend it to other travelers.

This place could not be more perfect for our trip to DC. It was the perfect distance to the metro. Our group of 8 had so much space of our own, yet plenty of room to be together in the common spaces and not be on top of each other! We went in the coldest month of the year, so unfortunately we didn’t get to experience the best of what the outdoor areas had to offer but the views were breathtaking regardless. Melanie’s place was extremely clean and everything was provided and then some! Everyone in our group would like to go back in warmer months to spend more time outside. Before we got there, Melanie explained that there was an issue with one of the sinks in the cabins and said she would credit us accordingly. I thought that was great! It did not hinder or create a problem whatsoever! I hope we get to make it back sometime!

John was a wonderful host. His home was in pristine condition. The property was very peaceful and the land was beautiful. I’m planning to travel frequently to Virginia and this will be my first choice. Phenomenal experience!

Idalma was a very great host. Beautiful property filled with green space. There are places to go for entertainment very close by. Also is very peaceful at night! Highly recommend and will happily book again in the near future!

It’s our second stay at Camp Maier and we are already planning to come back. As soon as we step in, we feel calmed by the view and the comfortable space. The place has had a fresh coat of paint since we were here last, and we appreciated the kitchen upgrades too. We loved pizza at Cryptic Pizza in Solomons Island and a walk with dogs at Flag Ponds nature park. Even found a small fossilized shark tooth! A magical time. Thank you.

Reagan's place was so charming and perfect for our getaway! Everything was exactly as described. I appreciated the secluded and cozy nature of the cabin, but also the proximity to restaurants, stores and hiking trails. I highly recommend this cabin, and hope to return on a future getaway.

The Black A-frame is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay and Karen is a proactive and responsive host. The house is extremely clean, well decorated and equipped for kitchen use and enjoying the place. We loved staying here!

My stay was exactly what i needed it to be. It was a quick 90 minute drive from the city, but once I got there I found exactly what I needed. 2 days of peace, quiet, and seclusion. I had to make a quick run, to the grocery store, but it was convenient and people were really nice. Next time I come, I’ll probably explore the Solomon Islands.
