Cozy studio apartment

Small and cozy studio apartment in our home, perfect for a couple or a single person. Our house was originally built in 1905 but was mostly torn down 20 years later and built like it is today. Very close to the international airport as well as grocery stores, restaurants and shops. Spacious deck to enjoy the good weather in the summer. Access to washing machine and dryer in the laundry room. Please note that we have a big Golden retriever dog that shares the yard with us and you. 😊

The apartment is situated just 6 minutes drive from the airport and 15- 20 minutes form the Blue Lagoon. You can find a public swimming pool with both outdoor and indoor swimming pools in 3 minutes walk from us, there is also a big playground area.There is a small shoppingcenter, Krossmói in about 8 minutes walking distance. There you can find ATM, bank, supermarket, pharmacy, resturants and other shops. There is also the town bus center (it is outside and there are no servicekiosk).

Húsið er á skjólgóðum stað og útsýni út á sjó og sést vel á Snæfellsnesið í góðu skyggni. Á veturna við rétt skilyrði, er mikill möguleiki á að sjá Norðurljós. Húsið er gamalt en allt ný tekið í gegn. Á svefnloftinu er 2 góðar dýnur (brattur stigi upp). Bjart og fallegt. Stutt á flugvöllinn, u.þ.b. 10 mínútur ( 9 km. ), og góð sundlaug í Sandgerði ( 2 km.)

Wypożyczyliśmy Dacie Dokker i bezapelacyjnie dała radę! Mimo braku napędu na 4 koła dotarliśmy do wszystkich najważniejszych punktów naszej podróży bez problemu. Zwiedziliśmy Złoty Krąg, całe południowe wybrzeże i podjechaliśmy pod wulkan - wszędzie bez problemu z dojazdem (miesiąc marzec). Ogrzewanie postojowe działało bez zarzutów, momentami było nawet za gorąco. Autko ze skrzynią manualną co tylko ułatwiło podróże po zróżnicowanym terenie Islandii. Materac i koc czyste, mięciutkie, bez zarzutów. Polecamy z czystym sumieniem!

Das Auto hat seinen Dienst sehr zuverlässig verrichtet. Wenn ihr damit im Winter reist, braucht es am Campingplatz eine Küche mit Aufenthaltsraum und am besten noch einen Hotpot (z.B. Fossatun, Uthlid) Falls ihr dieses Auto ohne Heizung bucht, lasst Euch die wärmeren Schlafsäcke und eine zusätzliche Decke geben, ansonsten ist Euch nachts nicht warm genug.

Selten habe ich mich so wohl gefühlt wie in diesem wunderbaren Häuschen in der kleinen Ortschaft Hafnir. Dieser Ort ist mit einer kurzen Taxifahrt ideal vom Flughafen Kevlavik aus ganz einfach zu erreichen. Das Haus ist direkt am Meer gelegen, aus dem Fenster sieht man bis an den fernen Horizont. Und diese herrliche Ruhe! Außerdem gemütliche Betten, alles blitzsauber und schön eingerichtet, perfekte Kommunikation mit Charlotte, die liebste Gastgeberin, die man sich vorstellen kann. Absolut 100% Empfehlung von mir. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

This place is just amazing! The view at the sea is like at the pictures. This house is fantastic and so cosy. Arni is always responding very fast and we had an amazing time at his house. Highly recommended!
