Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hamburg

Me and a friend stayed at Katja's house during two weeks for an internship at Loki-Schmidt Botanical Garden and we loved our stay! The neighborhood is green and calm, surrounded by beautiful houses and gardens. Several food stores are within walking distance, and it took us 20 min to walk to the botanical garden (which btw is well worth a visit!). The S-bahn is a 10-15 min walk away, and there is a bus station even closer. Katja was very friendly and helpful, and was quick to answer messages and requests. In the check-in instructions it wasn't straight forward how to reach the house, but at last I realized that the house can be located at the back of Katja's house (just walk to the left and around the back and you will find it). The house has a private entrance and a nice private little patio. We cooked a lot of food when we stayed at the house, and the kitchen contained everything we needed! We loved our stay and would absolutely recommend it! I hope I can come back soon!

Thomas is totally likeable and a very nice host. He was flexible with check-in, which was very convenient for us and we felt very comfortable in his cottage. Great location! We will be back, Thomas! 😊

The studio is tip top downstairs at a beautiful family house in a green area. Mirko was a very nice and warm host, who you could always ask if anything didn't work out. The studio was very nice and new with dishwasher and washing machine and an Italian shower. High standard for a low price. Unfortunately, I didn't get along so well with the individual twin mattresses, because I'm used to sleeping in a double bed with a larger blanket, but I finally got used to it. I would like to come back, as such good studios are rare.

Dear Martina, dear Holger, You are one of the most hospitable and warm hosts we have met so far. Both are extremely helpful, friendly and offer a unique feel-good atmosphere thanks to their cosmopolitan nature. They make their entire property available for exploration and recreation. The area is breathtakingly beautiful, the surrounding hiking and cycling trails are quick to reach. A special highlight was being able to watch the deer at breakfast from the sofa. This AirBnb is at the top of the list for a return visit to us! Thank you for a small but absolutely fine break with you.

We enjoyed the accommodation very much. The apartment was cozy and very quiet. The connections to the city are also good, as a bus stops almost directly in front of the house and there is also a subway station nearby. However, it is important to know that the bathroom is directly in the living room and is only separated by a curtain. In addition, the windows on the upper floor, where we slept, could not be darkened properly, which is why we always woke up very early. However, the price-performance ratio is definitely right and we would recommend this apartment!

Great, family-friendly house with a beautiful garden. We felt very comfortable. It was a wonderful experience, especially for our children (11, 4, 2). It never got boring and if it did, there was a small park with a playground right next door. We will be happy to come back.

All of Hamburg is easy to reach from Felix's beautiful accommodation. Either by bus in front of the door or via P&R from the Harburger Bahnhof. The apartment is furnished with great care, attention to detail and even a delicious surprise included. We can fully recommend Felix's accommodation to anyone who wants to explore Hamburg and enjoy a little idyll and tranquility in between.

We were now very satisfied for the 2nd time and again. We just think it's nice to be a bit outside, with the S-Bahn you can get everywhere quickly. It is very clean and beautifully decorated and we love to have space. So everything was perfect for us. Carsten and Bettina

Very nice airbnb in a cool neighborhood!

Great place to stay in the countryside! We visited Hamburg for 3 nights - the former waterworks is an original accommodation directly on the banks of the Elbe (even if you can only see the Elbe from the extreme corner of the window...). The building makes a freshly renovated impression, it's all tip-top. Although you are not far from the center of Hamburg, you will find yourself absolutely in the countryside, in a quiet environment. And the center of Blankenese is within walking distance, with shops, cafes, bars and S-Bahn. We were very pleased!

The small Tiny House is perfectly equipped, the hosts were both exceptionally friendly in advance and on arrival, so we felt welcome before arrival. The apartment is not only really nice and tastefully furnished, but has everything you need. The hosts were also very, very family-friendly. The location is perfect for getting around by public transport - just a few minutes' walk to the subway. It was a perfect stay all around. The apartment was a real stroke of luck for our Hamburg stay.

Hamburg presented itself at its best – as did Deniz's apartment. We felt completely comfortable; everything corresponded exactly to our expectations. The accommodation was cozy and equipped with everything you need. Everything worked perfectly and the apartment was spotless. Deniz was very friendly and explained everything to us in detail. We will be happy to come back!

We felt very comfortable at Marco's place. It is very cozy and has a good location. Marco is super friendly and was always available. We would choose this place again anytime.

A very nice, cozily furnished and quietly located apartment with everything you need. It is very well described and explains itself. The location of the apartment is great! Public transport was a 5 minute walk away. Easy to recommend!

Lovely and cozy place to stay in a peaceful town near gorgeous wilderness. About an hour away from hamburg by bus and underground.

We felt incredibly comfortable in the sweet , very lovingly furnished apartment. The location was great. Absolutely quiet and not far from the Elbe beach. Beautiful. The only bakery, etc., we searched nearby in vain. But maybe just not local enough. ;-) We were able to sleep great and the bathtub did very well after a rainy day. The well-stocked fridge on arrival is absolutely not self-evident and we were very pleased about it. we said goodbye with the words that we will see each other again. and it will be. we will definitely be back. thanks to Mareile and her husband. :-)

We had a wonderful time with Maria, we felt comfortable from the first minute. The place is very nice and quiet and only a short walk to the train station. I can highly recommend it to everyone.

Absolutely loved this place and the location! We have two toddlers and it was right by a playground, grocery store and amazing coffee shops. We never get any place on the first floor, but this was safe and private. Absolutely loved jt. And the hosts were so sweet and helpful. I embarrassingly couldn’t figure out how to work the shower and they very responsive and helpful. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Marit and Willy were very hospitable and warm. They didn't miss anything. Since we had planned a girls weekend in HH, there was even a champagne for us girls <3. The coffee, which is important to me, was already prepared for us on arrival. :) <3. We were in HH on a very warm weekend and the two even thought of putting water cold. Simply terrific and very caring. Thanks to the great mattresses, we were also able to sleep peacefully and relaxed. If I am in HH again, I will be very, very happy to come again. The apartment is perfect for a short stay in Hamburg. We felt very comfortable there and Maria and her husband are very helpful and very friendly hosts. The apartment is superbly equipped and very clean. It is located in a quiet residential area and with the subway (about 15 minutes' walk) you can quickly reach the city center. We will be happy to come back!

We felt very comfortable in the apartment! There is a blind for the window in the shower (for those who are also asking😉). The garden is a dream and we sat in the sun in the afternoon for an hour or two and watched the chicken gang during their laps. The street was quite noisy during our visit. The windows are super insulated - when they are closed, it's completely unproblematic. But we slept with the window open and then it was quite noisy. Maybe this will be better due to the leaves on the trees in front of the window, but everything was still bare with us. 🙂 The contact with Christoph was super nice, friendly and uncomplicated both before and on site.
