Super nice and cozy apartment with everything that you might need. Good with private parking outside the apartment. Great balcony with a lovely view. Tina has been quick to respond throughout and everything has worked great!

My parents stayed here for a month and loved the place. It’s cozy, the hosts are wonderful and the location is close to a beautiful forest. We would love to come back.

There were three of us in the apartment for 2 weeks. It is modern and offers a beautiful view. It is also right on the ski slope. We recommend the place!

We spent a wonderful two weeks at the accommodation with our one-year-old son. The place was perfect — very nice, comfortable, and clean. We had everything we needed and didn’t miss a thing. The host was very kind and responsive whenever we needed advice. The accommodation is close to cross-country skiing trails, and there is a place to store skis. A sauna and a gym are also available. I warmly recommend it and we will definitely return in the future.

Great place in the middle of the xc skiing paradise.

Affordable and good accommodation with short walking distance (about 100 meters) to the lift and ski slopes. The apartment is modern and has all the amenities but is perhaps not the most cozy. Perfect with parking in garage and also charging for electric car. We are happy to come back to this home when we go skiing in Trysil next time.

We had high expectations for this place, and it still managed to exceed them. Everything was of really good quality – from the materials and furniture to the overall atmosphere. It felt thoughtfully put together and very comfortable. Even with people chatting outside the door in the evening, it was still possible to get the kids to sleep – a big plus for families. We had forgotten to book bedding, but Ann was very helpful and made sure we received it really quickly. We would love to book the place again next year. Highly recommended!

Nice semi-detached house, in new condition . Kitchen bathroom very fresh. A bit difficult to stay in the sleeping loft with very low ceiling height, but the kids appreciated that. Perfect car distance to both Idre and sky mountain, ICA in Idre village within short car distance

The house is brand new and felt very spacious for the 4 of us. We appreciated the 2 bathrooms both equipped with a shower, 2 out 3 bedrooms with double beds and the sauna with a view! The living room also had a beautiful nature view not blocked by the closest neighbouring houses since it is located on the outer part of the housing area. Great location for all sorts of skiing and other winter activities! The house is located on a slope and is accessed by a flight of stairs from the parking lot - it was no big deal for us but might be a good thing to know.

We had a wonderful stay at Julia’s place. The house is beautifully designed, spotless, and feels just like home. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and BBQs, and our kids loved exploring the nearby forest and relaxing by the bonfire. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway and scenic hikes. Sadly, the weather kept us from using the kayak and SUP, but we still had a great time. Highly recommended!

We rented the cottage for six nights (a family of 4). We had a great time in the cabin, which is spacious and homely and has everything you need. It is a few minutes to drive to Grövelfjäll and walking distance to Storsätra mountain hotel if you want to try their dinner. The area is quiet and there are beautiful views of the mountains. Grövelsjön's good opportunities for cross-country skiing are also easy to get to. We had an electric car and had good experience charging the car at Småbruket Västerbäcken as well as at Storsätra mountain hotel. Ulrika and Rikard were great hosts, through good information and communication. Highly recommend Ulrika and Richard's cottage!

Very pleasant stay at Ingar. Ingar was very helpful and hospitable. We felt right at home. The cozy parlor with fireplace, the sauna by the river and the canoes are absolute highlights. Perfect for a few days to unplug.

Inger’s place was perfect for our family! We enjoyed the abundant natural light coming in the great big windows, the wood burning fireplace, the sauna (which Inger’s husband Knut graciously helped us get going, then shared interesting information about the history and unique ecological features of the area), and the river views. It’s conveniently located 12 minutes from downtown Lillehammer, making our Birken weekend convenient!

A very good cabin in a fantastic location with a wonderful view and to this a wood-fired sauna with the same view. The host was good and responded quickly if we wondered about something. Recommended if you travel to this area for hiking, cycling and fishing etc.

Fredrik was friendly and responsive. The kitchen was fully equipped—perhaps only missing a microwave—but otherwise had everything you could need. Five stars for the sauna! This is truly a gem of a house in Idre, and I’ll definitely be coming back someday.
