Naturhaus Altmühltal

Our nature house consists entirely of natural building materials and uses the synergy effects of radiant heat and solar energy. The untreated wood is constructed according to the system of Bio-Solar-Haus, whereby no paint or other preservatives were processed. The solid wood floors throughout the house are oiled. In addition to natural wood such as stone pine and oak, other natural materials such as natural stone from the region (Jura marble) have been processed. The construction of the Bio-Solar house allows a natural air circulation and thus dispenses with the disadvantages of ventilation systems. There are no convection formed due to a built-ceiling and wall radiant heating.Through the house-in-house system (without vapor barrier), the water vapor can diffuse freely to the outside, causing no condensation and mold. Given the low heating energy demand in the house and the use of solar radiation, no fossil fuels are needed. Solar energy is the main energy source, only in winter can be heated if necessary with the wood stove. Recharge your batteries in the apartment of cheerfulness! Enjoy the special ambience in this historic house from 1753 in the heart of the Altmühl Valley. This sensitive and homely atmosphere was created with a lot of love in the "My Heart House". The creative host and Tom Palme, known from KiKA (ZDF), had the idea. Each of the three apartments has a theme and pictures were painted by the artist Shola Feldkamp and matched to the purist and high-quality furnishings of the apartments.

I rent out a nice little apartment in the basement, about 38 m² and fully equipped. Stammham is located in Upper Bavaria, about 12 km north of Ingolstadt/Audi, 5 minutes by car to the A9, Munich 55 minutes, Regensburg approx. 1 hour, Nuremberg 55 minutes, Ingolstadt Village 10 minutes, to the Danube Gorge approx. 30 minutes and to the Altmühltal Nature Park about 13 minutes. We have a Netto supermarket, restaurants, butchers, bakers, a doctor and a Raiffeisenbank in the village.

Ingolstadt (Old Town, a former bakery house)

Apartment is located on the second floor, in a listed townhouse . The apartment is furnished in retro design with many listed windows, ceilings, doors, walls... Close to outdoor and indoor swimming pool, park (green belt that goes around the old town) and of course the old town with shopping, cafes, bars, museums (medicine and museum for concrete art). Audi AG works for a short time. The guest is welcomed and guided, help possible at any time from neighboring rooms.

Located on the second floor on the southern side of the valley, the apartment is enthroned over the rooftops of the historic Westenvorstadt. In front of the historic Jurahaus, the Kapellbach spring ripples, where plenty of rainbow trout romp in the fresh spring water. Locals refer to the Kapellbuck-Idyll as the Little Venice of the Altmühl Valley. Cafes, restaurants, public parking and the island bath are in the immediate vicinity.

Hofstetten Castle / Ingerle Hermitage

Here you walk in the footsteps of the builder Johann Euchar Schenk von Castell. History can be experienced up close.
