Great place for family. We, family with two kids(6 and 4) booked the house to go skiing in Winterberg. Location is great, short drive to winterberg. With great towns and restaurants in-between. We got a bigger house with three bedrooms. Most of the time we were skiing,so used the house for sleeping and breakfast. The house was functional and had everything we needed. In the morning, when getting ready, the kids could play outside at the playground, which was great. Also great scenery. WiFi and mobile data was non-existing; which was great for quality family time, however didn't allow us to plan the upcoming days. So we did this on the road. Friendly host and beautiful surroundings.

The place was exactly as described. However, this also means that there is no basic equipment in the kitchen in contrast to normal Airbnbs.

Fantastic location and accommodation for a sporty weekend in Sauerland. It was spacious, clean and equipped with every comfort!

A successful vacation from arrival to departure. Very nice hosts who fulfill all wishes if you have like us :-) Very quiet location, almost in the forest and the garden has rightly been awarded by the B.U.N.D.. Just right for extremely stressed people like me, e.g. Nearby attractions are a short time away by car. The location is ideal, almost central. The set-up of the apartment is well described. Everything you need on vacation is there and leaves nothing to be desired. Conclusion: Highly recommended!

Great communication with the nice landlady on site. Accommodation is as described and looks as shown in the photos. For this price, it's really unbeatable. You can easily get to Willingen and Winterberg, but also to other, quieter places in the Sauerland. In my opinion, a car is necessary for the accommodation, as you live quite far away.

We had a great stay. The house is very nice and the open fireplace is really the best for spending the cold winter evenings. The ski slopes of Winterberg are just a few minutes away, but there are plenty of other things to do in the surrounding area. We simply loved it.

Very friendly host! Beautiful and spacious house. We would definitely recommend it and would love to come back with the large group. Everything is child- and dog-friendly, modern and bright. The only thing that could have been better would have been if our need for rooms had been asked in advance (we were guests in a very variable constellation: parents with up to three children, but also individuals). We thought that the booking amount would include ALL bedrooms. However, we could have easily booked additional rooms - spontaneously and on site. Thank you for the stay, dear Paul

We celebrated a round birthday with 20 people. The place was ideal for that. It has everything you need for the accommodation and meals of a larger group. The rooms are good and everything works in the kitchen. The large common area is perfect for shared food and long game nights. The area offers a number of activities for young and old and in the nearby Winterberg you will find plenty of shops, restaurants and supermarkets. We enjoyed the stay and can recommend the accommodation.

Located on the edge of the forest, with a large lounge with a fireplace and views of ponds, meadows and forest, the Forest Lodge was an ideal place for us - 5 people with a dog - an ideal place for a reunion over the turn of the year. A nice place for a few days in quiet surroundings that invites you to walks, chats by the fireplace, reading at one of the large windows, cooking and eating together. Sincere thanks for the well thought out hospitality!

We felt very comfortable in the forest house. The house has a lot of charm and offers plenty of space, which should also be very suitable for large groups.

The landlords are incredibly helpful and friendly. Offer for private horse and farm tour. Farewell gifts for the younger children. Every request /request was implemented immediately. The apartment really offers a lot in a very quiet and lonely environment. Game corners, lots of toilets and large bedrooms offer a great ambiance for a trip for all ages. Keep it up...

We are very satisfied. The house looks as described, it was all sparkling clean and spacious enough for 11 people. We will be happy to come back.

We are absolutely thrilled with this fantastic apartment and felt completely comfortable. The apartment is very stylish, cozy and furnished to a high standard. The decoration is very tasteful and accentuated, even self-painted pictures of the owner were to be admired! The kitchen is equipped with everything and more that you can imagine or would not expect. Loving details are hidden throughout the house to give guests a pleasant stay. The upper (huge) bedroom has a fantastic panoramic view of the Möhnesee. Last but not least, the location of the apartment is simply priceless. The outdoor area with terrace, small garden and barbecue area is also extremely stylish, cozy and very well maintained. Everything is very inviting for cozy get-togethers and/or relaxation. The contact with the owner was extremely friendly, fast and uncomplicated - everything perfect. We will be happy to come back! We, seven adults and seven children had a wonderful weekend in Benjamin's house, the house of about 300 years old really has its charms, with associated sounds and everything. The host really deserves congratulations on hospitality and helpfulness. If you were with something and approached him, he always responded immediately and was also very helpful. There is also plenty to do in the area of the house. In about half an hour, you'll be in a zoo or amusement park such as Moviepark Germany. At the house itself there is also a beautiful large garden in which you can sit outside and there is also plenty of parking.
