Holiday rentals with lake access in Hoogezand-Sappemeer

A beautiful, cozy house right on the canal, which was furnished with a lot of attention to detail and has everything you need. Communication was easy, friendly and fast. Even before arrival, Connie provided us with all the important information. Despite the bad weather, we (8 people) had enough space in the house. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely come again!

The exceptional house is very lonely. It has a lot of charm and very good amenities. Very tall people have to bend at the door very much so as not to bump their heads. Paasloo is a good location for excursions by bike or car. Great for people who want to be far away from the hustle and bustle.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was as described and Janna and Christof took great care of us. Would happily do it again!

We were there with 5 adults and a dog and everything worked out great. And that the bicycles could also be stored in the shed was good. We would definitely book again!

We had a great time in Dennis' super nice house. Everything is just right in this home. Beautiful layout of the house, perfectly equipped kitchen, great garden, comfortable beds, lots of activities (table tennis, billiards, darts...) and everything is clean. The house simply impressed us. The location is also great. Close to the supermarket and beautiful hiking and cycling trails in the area. The communication with Dennis was perfect. He was super responsive to messages. We can 100% recommend this place and will definitely be back.

We will be at Karina's Cottage twice. It was wonderful again. Nice on the outskirts of the forest with fenced garden. The cottage has all the comforts and everything looks clean and tidy. Our children were also happy with the playhouse! Really a top place to stay!

We stayed with 5 friends between the ages of 25 - 30 for a long weekend in this beautiful house. The house exactly matches the description and pictures, the two house owners were very kind and accommodating without being intrusive. They even provided us with eggs from their own chickens. The house is situated in a village with a small supermarket and a drugstore and a small "vending machine village shop", everything is within walking distance. By car, several larger villages, with a variety of different restaurants, sights and various activities, can be reached in less than half an hour. Our goal was to have a nice time with our friends and our expectations were more than met, we highly recommend the place to anyone! Thanks for the stay!

Great place, very clean and cozy, you felt right at home in the chalet. The location was a bit secluded and you had to drive longer for things to do/shopping because there was not much going on there. Unfortunately, prices are only a little too expensive for all the possibilities. Overall, we still had a great few days together & thank you Nicole for the uncomplicated conversation. ☀️❤️

Robert is a very kind host. The accommodation looks cozy, is clean and with a lovely large garden on the lake. Breakfast was various good! Glad we could leave the trailer for the surfboard until after the competitions in the garden. In short, a very nice place to spend time.

I love Giethoorn very much! Because of the super host Marjolein, Marco and their villa. They are very nice people and helpful. The villa is convenient, clean, tidy, well equipped and have a nice view. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely few days at Jan's place. The apartment offers everything you could ever need. In the village there is everything you need. Emmen is also easy to reach. It's nice to have peace and quiet for a while if you're used to big city noise!

Beautiful place in surprising location. Ideal as a base to discover Eastermar and the rest of Friesland. Marten and his family are super welcoming and helpful. The location and the apartments are pearls in the cap. The whole family is working hard to make this place even more beautiful. Thank you Jorrit for the fresh egg and the nice tour, you're doing well! We're going back to Eastermar in a while.

Martha was a wonderful host. Thw breakfast was the best we had in all of our Airbnbs across Europe. It was also great to explore the dutch countryside and get out of thd big cities.

To our lovely host Diet. She was excellent and very responsive. At the beginning it was little confusing about getting there but when we arrived it was very easy to find. It was excellent and peaceful for our family stay. We were aloud to use bikes so that helped us a lot for good shopping. Canoe rides were excellent. I think we cannot picked better spot for us. Neighbours were super friendly and welcomed us with smiles and fantastic attitude. We will for sure come back. 😊 Diet- thank you for having us 😊

We spent almost two wonderful weeks at this accommodation with four adults and an 8-month-old baby. The house was spotlessly clean and exceptionally well-equipped – we didn’t miss a thing. We felt comfortable and at home from the very beginning. The location is perfect: close to Groningen and not far from the sea, offering a great mix of activities and relaxation. Whether you want to explore the area or just unwind, this place has it all. We highly recommend it and would gladly come back anytime!

Highly recommend! Staying at this Airbnb was just amazing! The place was exactly as described in the pictures – clean, stylishly decorated and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. By bike or car you can quickly get to Groningen, where you can do numerous activities! Our highlight was the hot tub, which was used diligently. We would come back.

A beautiful temporary home away from home! We were lucky enough to spend Christmas in Dina's tiny house. It was even more beautiful than expected, completely quiet and private....but with all the amenities we wanted. The sauna was a dream, especially in the cold, wet weather. Dina is a very likeable host and we were very happy to have decided on Ellertshaar. For us, one of the most beautiful Christmas we had. Dear Diana, Thank you so much, we will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful time at the Waldhaus! We particularly liked the terrace - we were able to spend many cozy hours there and enjoy the tranquility of nature. We immediately felt comfortable and were able to unwind wonderfully. We will be happy to come back!

Niels & Anniek were great hosts. Always helpful & quick to respond. Their place is perfect, so peaceful & relaxing with all the facilities you need. Nature on your door step. Only a short walk to the bus stop & a short bus ride if you need the bright lights of Groningen… I would definitely stay again.
