Welcome to Omma Frieda's apartment in the beautiful health resort of Holzhausen-Externsteine in the Teutoburg Forest. With hiking trails on one side and a wide view of the beautiful Lippe mountains, the apartment offers all possibilities: hiking, cycling, culture and much more. The R1 long-distance cycle route, the E1 European long-distance footpath, the Hermannshöhenweg and the Römer-Lippe route are all nearby. Whether you have small, big or no plans - you are welcome here!

Forest parlor

Private guest apartment near Detmold (7 km). Two steps lead over the terrace to the separate entrance of our apartment and from there you have a magnificent view over the beautiful "Lipperland". A private bathroom with shower and a kitchenette with good basic equipment are available. From here there is a good connection to the bus, hiking and cycling trail network in Detmold and the surrounding area. The forest begins right behind the house, you can start hiking straight away.

The apartment, located in the former cowstables, consists of a 40-square-meter room that includes a kitchenette and a separate shower and toilet. Thanks to the three floor-to-ceiling south-facing windows, it is pleasantly bright, and the underfloor heating. The bathroom features a walk-in shower, a towel warmer, a large sink, and a toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a two-burner stove, a sink, and a refrigerator. Dishes, cutlery, and pots are provided for two people.

My mono Teuto

NEW: Right next to "Mono" is another house, "Nest in the Forest." You can also visit. Or both… “Mono” is a trailer that was converted decades ago. In the course of a complete renovation, it received a timber frame skeleton all around in 2020 (new roof, new insulation, etc.) and thus a first floor. Size: 3.20 by 13 meters. It is called "Mono" because its exterior, like every room inside, is mainly determined by one color.
