Absolutely amazing spot & even better hosts. My husband and I came to Iceland for a vow renewal after having to change our wedding plans due to COVID 5 years ago (we originally planned an elopement in Iceland), and Anthony went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time, and we did! Overall, this was an absolutely outstanding stay. Every single thing we needed was managed quickly & Anthony went beyond anything we could have asked to take care of us. Plus, the airbnb itself was so charming. Definitely recommend if looking for a quaint port town close the Reykjavik! I wouldn’t come here for a more isolated experience or to get away from the hustle of Reykjavik, but I think the port town was a great alternative to staying in Reykjavik itself.

What a unique, wonderful place! We only had a one night here but it was perfect, and we could have happily stayed much longer. The space is open floor plan, very spacious, and full of fun "extras." Everything was clean, the blackout curtains were great (essential here in June), we were thankful for access to laundry, communication was quick and helpful, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-supplied, and everything was as expected -- or better! Thanks so much for letting us stay here, Esther and family.

Our stay at Skeid2 was simply perfect—surrounded by stunning scenery and packed with everything you could possibly need for a cozy escape. Fantastic experience! One tiny mishap: we lost the main door key (oops!). But the hosts? Absolute legends. They handled it with such grace, didn’t even charge us, and just smiled it off. Talk about hospitality! It felt less like a rental and more like a warm welcome from old friends. Highly recommended if you're chasing peace, views, and good vibes.

What an amazing place. The cottage is located in a beautigful fjord with an uncredibld view towards the sea and mountains partly covered in snow. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest. Highly recommend staying in this beautiful cottage as it is a great spot to chill, relax and have a great time with family and friends. We will be back. Thank you so much guys! A beautiful place at a beautiful and peaceful location easily accessible to Reykjavik and Thingvellir onwards to Strokkur. The house is clean, and as described. Unnur is easily accessible and respond to queries promptly.

I stay in a magical place in front of the lake with a breathtaking view. The house was very clean, very quiet, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Super location, as well as communication with hosts. Follow the instructions of the host carefully to get to the place, not very easy to reach with Google maps. Highly recommended! The barn house was beautifully built and decorated with spectacular views. The skylight windows were perfect for watching for the northern lights. The kitchen had all the basics and some extras like a nespresso machine and pods. We enjoyed cooking there and using the hot tub. The washer and dryer were super helpful. It was a great launching place for the Golden Circle. Stokkseyri is a cute little town with a great local pool. The turf house across the street was fun to explore as was the beach on the other side of the turf wall. It is very near Bakkahestar for highly recommended Icelandic horse rides with a local couple on the beach in Eyrarbakki. Nearby Selfoss has anything you need including an amazing fish market Fiskbud Suderlands for great prices on fresh caught local fish. Kristinn was very responsive and we loved our stay!

This place is truely amazing! It is surrounded by nature and the view is outstanding. We would love to come back one day and would happily recommend it to others!

Not only the place itself, but the entire environment was wonderful. There was also a lot of helpful information after booking, for example which car rental is good. Communication was flawless. We would definitely choose this location again.

It was easy to arrive at the stay. The apartment was beautiful and clean. The drying washing machine was the highlight of the accommodation. A safe and peaceful atmosphere throughout our trip.

Thordis has a beautiful apartment in a lovely neighborhood.The place was immaculate upon arrival. A highlight for us each morning was watching the seals congregate on a little island in the sea, which we could see from the back yard. Thordis was a great communicator and super helpful when we asked advice about the places we wanted to visit. We would definitely book her place again!

The guesthouse was very cozy and comfortable! Everything was clean and the beds were very comfy. Being able to walk around and enjoy the grounds this morning gave us a great start to our day. We could not have asked for a better host or stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb during our pre-wedding shoot in Iceland, and it truly added to the magic of the whole experience. The place was spotless and incredibly spacious — exactly what we needed to relax and get ready between shoots. Welcoming and cosy place, as soon as we arrived we found everything very clean and tidy, kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare something to eat, very clean bathroom, room equipped with Smart TV and vacuum cleaner. The owner of the house is always available for any eventuality. If I were to return to Iceland I would gladly book another stay with him.

The Airbnb was easily accessible and well equipped with washing machine, dryer and fully equipped kitchen. There was also a designated parking spot for your vehicle. Magnus was responsive and extremely helpful in answering any queries. Would recommend this place

Beautiful apartment at a new development, easily reachable by car. We found everything we needed here as a couple visiting Iceland for the first time. The place is very clean and modern, and is a cosy and comfortable base while exploring the stunning country.

WOW! what an amazing place to stay!!!! I have endless things to say about our experience here. the views and surroundings were immaculate. so peaceful and such a wonderful way to wake up in the mornings. everything was so clean and the rooms / beds were so comfortable. the bonus was the little spa area, the facilities were so clean and amazing. plenty of room to change, bathroom, showers, sauna. and the outdoor waterfall hot tubs were perfect temperature while it was cold outside. I would 100% stay here again!
