Holiday rentals with a sauna in Idyllwild-Pine Cove

I don't usually get Airbnb's but this place caught my eye. The place was just like the photos and a super nice and quiet atmosphere! The free EV charging was a welcomed plus! Would recommend to stay!

We had a fantastic stay at the Monkey Tree Hotel by AvantStay! The room was exactly as described—spacious, well-stocked, and perfect for our quick trip to Palm Springs. We especially enjoyed the pool, sauna, and hot tub. Overall, our experience was pretty seamless, and we’d definitely stay here again!

We had the absolute best time at the Monkey Tree. It was a great peaceful location, right smack of the middle of everything. Easy to get to a 5 min drive to downtown Palm Springs, and about 30min away from Palm Desert. The pool area was lovely! Nothing but a wonderful stay. Thank you

Great place to stay that is local to a lot of cool spots. Room was exactly what we needed. We did not use the shared amenities but many other people were so it looked lively. Would stay again!

Awesome vacation rental. Had everything you could need within walking distance. Beautiful views. Jeff was very responsive and helpful with check-in and answered all questions we had. Hopefully we can come visit again soon!

Cool stay! Very enjoyable experience. It was a little odd not having a shower curtain in the bathroom in front of a large window, BUT it was a private patio so no one can see in. Other than that it was wonderful!

We truly enjoyed the beautiful home & peaceful stay. Even if the home only had one TV, we were able to keep it on at night to reduce the loud wind, rattling the bedroom windows and screen doors. AC worked perfectly & The two full bathrooms were large and extremely convenient, the community felt safe and having a kind gate security was definitely helpful and felt stress free. Co/Host & Host were amazing and accommodating to our extra day and late check out & always prompt communication. Would recommend this property & would love to stay here again. If you have never stayed in a desert home or are used to staying in resorts/hotels in the deserts, you may want to bring headphones/earbuds to sleep, desert winds can get loud at night if not prepared or sensitive to loud whistling or rattling noises.

This place was the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. Pleasantly surprised how spacious the rooms were. My family enjoyed themselves very much. We would most definitely stay again.

Kara was the best host during our group’s stay for Coachella—super responsive, flexible and friendly. The grounds of the country club are absolutely gorgeous with a pool and jacuzzi right by, plus a golf cart if you want to drive around. The place is spacious and clean with great amenities, plenty of glasses for drinks and a well stocked kitchen for cooking. We were able to easily get Ubers to the shuttle stops and back. This was a lovely peaceful retreat to return to each night. Would highly recommend!

Great location near airport and shopping center. Great communication with host. Nice quiet, safe complex with pool & Jacuzzi. Ground floor unit fully equipped with anything you might need on vacation. Unit meticulously clean. Host on hand to welcome guests and walk through use of unit features. Nice welcoming snack basket and bathroom vanity well stocked. Very reasonably priced compared to other similar properties. Great host; very personable; takes great pride in his property. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to the Greater Palm Springs area.

Beautiful place and great location

We really enjoyed our family trip using Pablo’s place. Kids enjoyed the pool and pickleball courts every day. Easy to get in and out of and not far from restaurants and stores.

We were in the desert for a wedding with our son and daughter in law. Dan and Whitney’s place was perfect for two couples! The two bedrooms and bathrooms were on opposite sides of the living space giving plenty of privacy. We spent most of our time out and about enjoying the beautiful grounds and eating at local restaurants. The one hiccup we had was due to user error ( hot water in shower) but Dan and Whitney got right back and sent help immediately! There is a PAC Man game in the living room that my son had lots of fun with also. We would recommend staying in Whitney and Dan’s place in La Quinta Villas if your travels take you there.

Daniel was a great host! He was very personable and helpful - greeting us personally upon arrival - and always accessible. The Cottage was very cozy and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. There were plenty of fresh linens and towels. It was a great place to relax and chill! We would definitely recommend it!

I can’t say enough good things about this incredible Airbnb in Joshua Tree. Tucked away in a beautifully secluded spot, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The tranquility and stillness of the desert were exactly what we needed. The home itself was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail was clearly designed with care, from the cold plunge & suana to the well-stocked kitchen. It felt like a true sanctuary. If you’re looking for a serene retreat to unwind, recharge, and soak in the beauty of the desert, this is the place. I’m already dreaming about my next visit!

Cant say enough about how relaxing the outdoor amenities (hot tub, sauna, fire pit, hammock) are, especially at sunset. The casita was spotless and comfortable. Will definitely return.

We came as a group of four friends, plus one very happy pup, and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was a dream to cook in, and every detail made it feel like a true getaway. The outdoor space was a favorite, especially for our dog who loved exploring the yard. We also really appreciated how quiet and peaceful the neighborhood was, while still being close to great spots in town. Check-in was a breeze and the hosts were incredibly responsive and kind. It was honestly one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. We’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommend.

This was our second time staying at this gem of a property. It's truly a special place -- a soul-replenishing oasis in the desert. And its location is perfect. Walkable to Pappy & Harriet's and Pionertown's mane street, yet just far enough away that you don't see or hear any of what's going on there. The view from the pool is gorgeous. The privacy screening around the property is incredibly well thought out. The hosts are perfectly responsive and helpful. We will definitely come back again!

We loved staying here! The home itself is beautiful and the amenities are great. Loved the cowboy pool (perfect for our 4 year old), sauna and chiminea. Beds are super comfy and the living space was very functional. We stayed as a family but I could see it being the perfect spot for a couples trip. The neighborhood itself is nothing to write home about but the house feels so secluded and peaceful enough that it really doesn't matter. Location wise, if we were planning to spend multiple days in the park, I may have preferred a spot in Joshua Tree, but for one day of hiking, the extra drive time was no big deal. And we did love how close it was to Pioneertown. Overall awesome stay and would definitely recommend!

This was our second time at Timothy & Lora's place in Yucca Valley, and we will never stay elsewhere when we visit Joshua Tree! It is a beautiful, private home and the hot tub, sauna, and cowboy pool really take it over the top. I also appreciate being in an AirBnB that is thoughtfully decorated, which really improves the experience and makes you feel right at home. The hosts were thoughtful, kind, and very responsive. We'll be back, thanks again!
