Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Illinois River

What an absolute gem of a stay. The property is impeccably maintained and so beautiful. The guests house that we stayed in was so comfortable and very clean. The bed is quite possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. The pool and the hot tub are perfect. The doggo’s are super sweet and lovable. Danielle and the rest of the team are all very smart and a pleasure to talk with. We will definitely be referring the place to our friends and will be back ourselves every year as long as it’s available.

Linda’s place was absolutely amazing. We were visiting for a funeral and she messaged us letting us know we could check in early, had a book with all the information about the place and included local menus that we didn’t end up using but it was a nice touch and plenty of snacks set out for us. The one time I did need to contact Linda during our stay she responded within minutes and was very nice about everything. Will definitely book there again if we ever have the need to go back up there.

Only stayed one night but Anthony very accommodating. Enjoyed the friendly small town vibe and neighborhood. Peaceful. Thanks again!

Can't recommend this place enough. Serene surroundings overlooking the river; watching the barges float by and fish jump was the perfect way to relax. Between the deck, patio, and lower patio, there was always a place to sit and take in the view. Bed was EXTREMELY comfortable, and location was 15-20 minutes from anything you could need in Peoria. Can't wait to return!

We had a great stay at this cozy cottage! It was super clean and comfortable and well stocked. We really appreciate being able to stay there with our 2 pups. The fenced in yard was great for them to stretch their legs after a long day in the car. Will definitely stay here again!

Very tidy and cozy house. Super nice and helpful hosts. Everything is beyond my expectation. Due to the dust storm, it took me much longer time and finally arrived near midnight. Andy & Lynn waited and helped me. I'm very grateful. Arthur is also a nice town. I wish I could stay longer.

I don’t think I can put in words, what you are getting when you stay here and at that price too! Plenty of space, water and snacks and a huge yard for the kids to run around on. The direction Priscilla gave were needed as Apple Maps took me to not the right house, google maps was spot on but with her directions, we were right as rain. We were only there for one night but it seems like there is enough to do in the town that I could see us coming back for some more time. We would recommend this place to anyone! Thanks again!

I absolutely LOVE this home. I've stayed in dozens of vacation rentals and this is one of my absolute favorites. It's simple but has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The home is quiet and comfortable, and the view from the front room picture window is amazing. I travel to Springfield IL 2-3 times each year and I always try to book this place.

Amazing place! So much bigger than we anticipated and really great value. The host had recommendations for places to go and local restaurants. Very nice and responsive.

this was the perfect Airbnb for my friend, and I when we went into town and saw REO Speedwagon. Barb went above and beyond and even had snacks in the room for us and everything else to make us comfortable and feel welcome. She met us there on our arrival and was so friendly and helpful! her place was very clean and on the outside there was a nice area to sit and enjoy the evening and morning with beautiful flowers and nice atmosphere! Barb went above and beyond to make us feel at home and to be helpful in anyway she could. Great stay at this peaceful property on Lisbon Road. The house was clean, spacious, and had all the essentials for a comfortable visit. The rural setting was quiet and relaxing, yet still close enough to town for convenience. The host was friendly and responsive, making check-in easy and stress-free. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet getaway near Morris!

We stayed here for two weeks while waiting to get into our home after relocating here for a new employer.

She was amazing. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. She had cleaned the hot tub after the last customers left and since it wouldn’t be ready by our check-in, she knocked off $25! She toured the space and explained everything in detail. Told us of some things to do and where to go. Plenty of clean towels, plenty of pillows, blankets. 10/10 would def recommend. Will prob book for a second time in the future!!

Had a great stay in this lovely home! Just as described in the listing. Now knowing the location and proximity to the marina, restaurant, beach, may have chosen a different location in the community, but overall enjoyed the house and amenities the community had to offer. We did rent a golf cart last minute, and unfortunately had issues with the battery dying and had to push it back to the unit. Some friendly people in the area saw our trouble and came to help. The office was very responsive with our issue and offered other solutions which we were very happy with. The only suggestion we would have would be more chairs available to sit outside. Given the number of people the house could accommodate, outside seating was very limited. The only negative we encountered were ants in the kitchen (something sticky in the cabinet that they were after) and an area in front hallway near the main floor bathroom. Would definitely consider a repeat visit for a family gathering at some po
