This was a very nice weekend getaway. Quite, felt safe, Very well stocked, very clean, we really enjoyed our stay.

My wife and i were here for a short getaway. Wanted a private and quiet place and Phillip’s cabin is just that! Enjoyed the outdoors and peaceful surroundings they developed on this property. Cabin was great. A ton of attention to detail when this place was built. All around perfect quick getaway for my wife and i. Definitely recommend Phillip’s cabin if you want to get away from the day to day life and unplug.

This is the perfect getaway from life for the weekend! So cozy, relaxing and peaceful. Good for the soul. 10/10 recommend.

It’s was a great little get away! Gloria was very responsive with all our questions. The date we had originally booked for, the area was due to get some major flooding. When we voiced our concerns, Gloria was very understanding and let us change our weekend. The cabin was very cozy. The deck to the side of the cabin was nice for reading in the morning. It wasn’t too far from hiking trails. Gloria even let us know of an event happening in the town near the cabin. Which we did venture over too and did a little exploring! Overall, it was a great get away.

We took a well needed weekend away and the cabin was perfect. We did a little antiquing but spent alot of time at the cabin. We took advantage of the pellet grill and had everything we needed to cook meals. The king size bed and pillows in the master bedroom were very comfortable. The gaming table was a pleasant surprise and fun to use. Jennifer was quick with a response and very helpful when our GPS lead us in circles. Thank you for sharing your place with us. Given the opportunity, we would come again.

Beautiful cabin with all the comforts of home. Owner was responsive, friendly and helpful. The town and surrounding area are gorgeous if you want to explore, and there are great restaurants everywhere. Would 100% stay here again.

Great family get away with small kids! Very clean! We loved the play n pack and air mattress provided with extra linens.

The cabin was as described. It sits on a nice scenic lot and has a nice pergola by the spillway of Lake Centralia. Host was proactive with a couple fire logs due to storms the day before which made lighting the fire easy and enjoyable. Clean comfortable hot tub with privacy fence. Just a short drive to local amenities.

Enjoyed watching the sunset, listening to summer sounds, and stargazing. Thanks!

My fiancé and I enjoyed staying at the cabin. It was nice to be staying in a cabin and having a little get away while visiting family in Waterloo. Rika responded very quickly and is very communicative which I love that. Overall, we love it and will want to come back and stay at the cabin when visiting family.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Lynda's cabin. It's right on Matanzas Beach, minutes from Havana. The pictures don't do it justice! The cabin felt much larger than expected. Lynda has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully stocked kitchen and BBQ grill. The views are gorgeous, and sitting on the deck or by the firepit during sunset is not to be missed. There are some great restaurants / bars in Havana, including Babe's, Stag Tap, Lulu's, and Riverside Grill. And of course Peaches for ice cream. Lynda was very helpful & checked on us to make sure we got in & had everything we needed. I would love to stay at the cabin again!

Our stay was perfect! Staying at the cabin was peaceful and just what my family and I needed. We had a wonderful time and loved being able to just be together as a family in nature. If anyone wants a peaceful stay with great hosts this place is where you want to stay! We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, well-cared-for cabin in remote setting -- prefect for relaxing. A couple of sweet visiting dogs were a fun surprise for animal lovers. We would go again.

The place was better then expected! Beautiful home out in the country... out problems were phones went in and out when trying to find the house so write down direction.. its easy to find then.. also because im old and crazy we locked ourselfs out.. never lock the bottom lock ugh.. anyways adrin was the best! so nice to be out in the country and saw the strawberry moon!

I really loved how cute these loft cabins were. I appreciated the view and the convenience of having a place so close to the palisades. The price was solid too. I'm thankful for the dogs being able to stay with us in the cabin.

Perfect for a weekend stay near Starved Rock Park. Spacious living and sleeping areas, clean house and nice complex for families and dogs. Would go back again.

The cabin was bigger and more beautiful than you could possibly imagine from the pictures. The fish in the lake are ample and me and my friends had a wonderful time catching them. Animals were not an issue and we felt safe in the area. Plentiful amenities and more than enough towels for a group of 5 people showering every day. The hostess we met at check in was incredibly kind and friendly. She helped us feel welcome and at home. The cabin itself feels well constructed and roomy, space was very much not an issue. The kitchen worked great and really allowed me to explore my inner chef and we were provided with lots of charcoal and firewood for outside cooking. I would HIGHLY recommend this listing for anybody considering staying at this cabin and my memories made here will be unforgettable.

The cabin was awesome, and the setting was beautiful. Caught four bass within the first five minutes of fishing right off the shore behind the cabin. The basement and Deck space were great aswell.

Great cabin nicely done and so clean. Had relaxing time overlooking the river. Highly recommend!

Very quiet, very relaxing stay. Nice, cozy quarters with both front porch and back deck to stretch out. My family of four fit in perfectly. A nice weekend getaway to recharge. Definitely considering going again.

The River Cabin is great to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, or great if you are looking to relax for a weekend. House was very well kept, nice touch having a Traeger grill. One minor thing to note is backyard was overgrown and fire pit was not in ideal shape. Small inconvenience but would have been nice to have better access too. Would definitely stay here again !

Wonderful place that we were happy to come back to! The views of the fields behind really provide an opportunity to breathe and unplug. There is no Wi-Fi, but my phone worked great as a hotspot a couple of times that I needed it. This place is such a hidden gem, I'm sure we will be back!

An amazing house with a fantastic view! We loved staying in a cool old log cabin with an awesome sunroom and deck to enjoy the view. This is a great location to explore the Shawnee forest trails and relax a bit. Our kids loved exploring the muddy river banks in front of the house. The ice cream and local meats at the Riverside Mercantile were great and a fun short walk into town. Highly recommend!

We had a peaceful couple of days. Loved the paddleboards for exploring the lake(s).
