Audrey’s Abode is truly something special. This isn’t just a cabin—it’s an actual log cabin, full of rustic charm and timeless craftsmanship. The moment we stepped inside, we felt tucked away in a peaceful world of its own, surrounded by countryside serenity. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, from the cozy quilts to the vintage touches like the stained-glass window and heritage decor. The kitchen had a perfect view of the open fields, and we loved watching the morning light stretch across the farm from the sink window. But the real magic happened at night. The stars were absolutely gorgeous. With zero light pollution, the night sky lit up in a way that took our breath away—constellations stretching from horizon to horizon. We spent a long time just staring up in awe. This stay was a beautiful reminder to slow down, breathe deep, and enjoy life’s quiet moments. Thank you, Audrey, for sharing such a soul-soothing place with us.

The cottage was lovely with much care to all guest needs. The location was very lovely in the forest. We hope to make it to the winery in the future but didn’t have time this trip.

As soon as we walked in, the house felt like home. The house was very clean as well as towels and linens. Being the house was built long ago, it had charming features. We had a rainy day and had a blast staying in and playing ping pong and air hockey! Elaine was a great host. We ate at Fire on Fifth and Jorge’s Margaritas & grill. Thoroughly enjoyed both restaurants. Thank you Elaine!

Cozy home in a walkable area! I found it comfortable and an easy drive to local parks, like Starved Rock. My RAV4 pulled into the steep drive without issue and local trains weren't disturbing. Would return!

My daughter and new husband stayed here after they got married and said it was wonderful. We would recommend this place for you to stay at.

My wife and i were here for a short getaway. Wanted a private and quiet place and Phillip’s cabin is just that! Enjoyed the outdoors and peaceful surroundings they developed on this property. Cabin was great. A ton of attention to detail when this place was built. All around perfect quick getaway for my wife and i. Definitely recommend Phillip’s cabin if you want to get away from the day to day life and unplug.

The loft bedroom was a little tight for an old couple but we enjoyed our stay and the tiny house was as described. Thank you Joni!

We were in town for a college intro visit and the U was within a short walk...awesome. Cute (my wife's word), clean and a fenced in yard which really came in handy since we had a last minute addition of taking our dog. I would definitely recommend if you need to be close to the campus! This was our second visit here and it was just as wonderful as the first! Everything is clean and welcoming, private, safe, and secure, and has everything you'd need whether you're staying a day, a week, or more! We enjoyed staying at Samantha’s place! The cabin was very clean, the scenery was beautiful and we loved the hot tub. The bed was very comfortable and it was surprisingly quiet outside. The food at the restaurant was amazing as well and we loved the atmosphere. The tub in the cabin comfortably fit my husband and I both and the lighting was perfect. The hot water lasted a long time when I took a shower and the bathroom was very comfortable. We will definitely be staying again!

The cabin was exactly as described and pictured in the listing! My dog loved exploring the gravel road and private beach. I enjoyed unwinding from my hectic work schedule, and diving into the books I brought with me to read. I ended up taking a day trip to Hannibal, MO and stopped in Navoo on the way back and definitely want to plan another trip without my dog in tow so I can take more time exploring. Rebecca was quick to respond to any questions I had about the area and with recommendations for places to eat. Her neighbor was there when we arrived and was charming and full of tips for both myself and my dog as well.

Stayed for three nights and had a lovely time. Neighborhood is quiet/pretty and close to Elizabeth/Galena. Everything was clean and had everything we needed, would definitely recommend or stay again!

It’s was a great little get away! Gloria was very responsive with all our questions. The date we had originally booked for, the area was due to get some major flooding. When we voiced our concerns, Gloria was very understanding and let us change our weekend. The cabin was very cozy. The deck to the side of the cabin was nice for reading in the morning. It wasn’t too far from hiking trails. Gloria even let us know of an event happening in the town near the cabin. Which we did venture over too and did a little exploring! Overall, it was a great get away.

Had a wonderful quick stop!! The sound to the river next door was so relaxing! Definitely would return!!

Beautiful, private but still close to many wineries and trails for hiking. Lots of wildlife around and beautiful views. Jacob was responsive to questions and would stay again!

Stayed here for a little weekend getaway & it was perfect! Danika was a great host & was helpful with anything we needed! We had such a great time & plan to come back in the future! Highly recommend if you want the camping experience without all of the extra stress!
