It comfortably accommodates four people. The private veranda is equipped with a comfy table and umbrella... Great location on a typical square in the historic center that offers a quiet and particularly sunny atmosphere, a stone's throw from the market and the Temple of Apollo. In a few minutes walk you can reach the main streets of shops, restaurants and solariums. To make your stay as pleasant as possible you will find at your disposal a bathroom courtesy kit and one for the kitchen,linen, bath towels. Beach towels for rent for an additional fee. The house is equipped with air conditioning/heating, toaster, toaster, electric kettle, TV, vacuum cleaner, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, hair dryer. For children, a camping cot complete with a mattress and linen, a sterilizer and a bottle warmer, a bathtub and a high chair. Children's kit has an extra fee. This was my favorite place I stayed in Sicily. It's a short walk from some of the busier parts of Ortigia, but it was so quiet, even in the courtyard. There are regular shops in the neighborhood and the kitchen is well laid out and we were able to make a small dinner our first night and take it easy. It might be hard to tell from the pictures, but the courtyard really is private and open to the sky, a delightful place for morning coffee, and afternoon read, or a quiet nightcap. Our seven-year-old loved his sofa bed and watching TV to decompress after a long day of travel and seeing the sites. I can't say enough good things about Rita, who takes care of the apartment. She was helpful and engaging. We asked a bunch of questions about our arrival and her answers were timely and reassuring. She gave us clear instructions on how to get from the bus terminal to the apartment and gave us a warm welcome which set a pleasant tone for our trip.

My wife and I traveled to Ortigia with our daughter for her 25th birthday. This home checked all the boxes when we booked it. Location on the water, nice modern home, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. But, when we got there, it was so much more amazing than we could have imagined. The home is beautiful - on the water with a stunning rooftop deck and amazing sunsets. Its situated right in the heart of Ortigia next to Fountain Arethusa. Walk out the front door onto the cobble streets to restaurants, coffee bars, shops. Turn right and walk a few minutes to Castello Maniace. Turn left and walk a few minutes to the Piazza Duomo. Yolande was an amazing host. Communication was great. Answered all my questions and helped find us a driver for the week which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Our driver, Beppe, was born in Ortigia and taught us more about Sicily during our car rides than any guide we could have round. Grazie Yolande!

Such a beautiful gem of an apartment! I would fully recommend staying here! We stayed for three nights after we’d just got married in Sicily. The apartment is beautiful and just as it looks in the pictures - the roof terrace is a real bonus! It’s absolutely stunning & a great place to laze under the sun, relaxing in the day or to have an alfresco dinner in the evening. It also overlooks ruins which is super interesting. The location of the apartment is also great - a 2-3 minute walk from the lively fish market & a variety of great restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We loved this apartment in Ortigia! Perfect location right by a cute square with lots of restaurants/shopping and the whole island is walkable. The apartment is very modern, spacious, clean and looked just like the pictures. Would definitely recommend!
