Too little space to describe how much we loved The Spring House. I needed a little getaway after a busy year of teaching and this was just the thing. Ilse made check-in super easy and was so accommodating with our schedules. The scenery was BEAUTIFUL, nestled on their little farm and though we were close to their farmhouse it felt so secluded and private. Waking up to birdsong and coffee on the porch will be a lifelong memory. I hope to come back soon and have already been raving about this spot to all my friends ✨🦋

Words cannot describe the feeling of pure calm that comes over you when you arrive. This place is truly a treasure hidden in the woods. Once you cross the creek you leave the world and all your cares behind. The host pays attention to all the little details and it shows. We have stayed at quite a few places but this one is on our return list. We look forward to sliding up for a long weekend in the late fall or early winter. (Tip- be sure to spend 15 min reading the welcome package it is time well spent).

The Tiny House Suite was exactly as described... and a little extra. For a tiny house, it had many nice touches that made it seem very homey, and provided everything that we needed. Our little 7-year old slept on the sleeper, and enjoyed her Tiny House, which she still talks about. The next time we're in Lynchburg, we will definitely book this place again. For the price, it was a good value!

This place was as advertised and a perfect peaceful getaway with cows within yards of the cabin. Wil was also a very gracious host and made our stay well worth it.

Patricia was an amazing hostess. Very gracious made it a home away from home. It was hard to leave for our concert nearby. Very relaxing cabin,we even slept very well there. Normally we don’t sleep well when we are away from home.

This place was exactly what we needed to get away for the weekend. Elise went above and beyond with her list of nearby recommendations and property details. We met her twice and she was so kind, and we were lucky to meet her sweet dog George and sweet barn cat Mosby. We cannot wait to come back!

We had a lovely stay! The home is in a beautifully updated old house that still maintains its historic charm. Everything felt clean and thoughtfully cared for. It was peaceful and quiet, with pretty, farm-like views out the windows—great for relaxing. I also appreciated that it was just a quick 10-minute drive to grocery stores, restaurants, and even a 24-hour gym. One big plus for me: there were plenty of towels and pillows, which I always find makes a huge difference in comfort. Would absolutely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay here. Hands down the best air bnb we’ve stayed in. The goats, donkeys, cows & chickens were so cute and the property was stunning. I highly recommend staying here for a relaxing getaway. :)

My husband and I spent the weekend in Bassett to attend an event at Fairy Stone State Park. Tamara and Luis’s cottage was the perfect respite. The property is absolutely beautiful and all of the summer flowers were in bloom. Our beagle, Molly, loved meeting, Buddy, Tamara and Luis’s lab doodle. I highly recommend this location for anyone who wants a quiet, beautiful, soulful time away from the busyness of life.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Bungalow! The home is well appointed and just as described. It’s even better than the photos! We had a quick overnight girls trip and it was the perfect spot to stay after visiting the wineries nearby. The location was perfect- it’s close to all the best wineries, including Veritas. The beds and linens were so comfortable, the kitchen is gorgeous and we loved spending our evening chilling around the fire pit. Also loved sipping coffee on the front porch swing with a lovely view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and eating breakfast on the back deck. The home had everything we needed and the hosts were super communicative and helpful. Do not hesitate booking this incredible home!!! 10/10!

This is our second year in a row that we stayed here for our annual family retreat (me, my wife and adult children with their partners). We loved it the first time and it was every bit as good the second. The house is in a beautiful peaceful setting tucked away in the woods with a mountain view. We spent most of our time during the day out on the decks, which were very comfortable with plenty of seating, outdoor couches and tables. We also took advantage of the fire pit. The house is actually much larger in size than how it looks . There is a good-sized living room with huge couch and large TV. Everyone had private rooms, which were very clean and comfortable with excellent furnishings. The kitchen was fully supplied for our cooking needs. Whenever we had a question Breanna was very quick to respond. If you're looking for a true getaway, I highly recommend staying here.

My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful time staying at the Jefferson cottage The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The host, Steve, was incredibly responsive and made check-in super easy. The location was perfect, close to everything but still nice, quiet and so peaceful. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an incredibly beautiful getaway. ❤️ Thank you for the great hospitality!

We had an amazing stay, Jeff and Bridgett’s property really is a slice of heaven! We loved being able to relax on property and explore local vineyards and antique markets! Ended up having the perfect honeymoon!

Beautiful home in nature and felt so peaceful! We loved staying here with our family as a getaway and couldn’t have asked for a better location. Lots of beautiful birds, butterflies and flowers during the time we went. We loved it and would stay again!

A spot we chose to stay to check out Shenandoah National Park, that ended up being the main attraction. Coming from the Philadelphia area this is a perfect place to genuinely relax. We loved just hanging out and watching the cows graze, playing with the farm dog Bo and looking out at the grand mountain views from the AirBnB/backyard. Lorene’s place was 5+STARS🌟 Private but close to the event we were attending. Beautiful property, lots of walking trails, pet friendly, beautifully furnished and stocked with all the necessities…it felt like I was visiting my grandmas house 💖 Loved everything about the house but the sunroom was the cherry on top. Lorene and her husband were very friendly and we really enjoyed talking “history” with them. Highly recommend 🙂

We enjoyed our stay at Cedar Nook as it was a great location for us to explore the local area, and it had a great view. Cedar Nook has all the amenities to complement anyone's stay. The place was well stocked with snacks, fruit, eggs, bread, etc. Ferne met us upon arrival, gave us a quick tour of the cottage, and communicated with us before our arrival. She was a gracious host!

We really enjoyed our stay on the farm after a long hike in Shenandoah NP. We were greeted by the pups and loved the hot tub to relax. Wish we would have had more time.

Our family had an amazing time at the farm! Marylouise and her daughter are the sweetest people and they provided a fantastic experience! We needed a place to truly disconnect and their property was perfect! My wife fell in love with all of the animals, especially the dogs that watch over the grounds and the lamb that sneaks out of her pen. Marylouise introduced us to all her animals, we appreciated her personal tour! We are so grateful for the hospitality and the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful home. All of the furnishings are meticulously decorated with antique gems, the whole house is a work of art. Marie Louise is a very talented oil painter and we loved all of her art around the property. We had such a great time, we will definitely be back!
