Cottage holiday rentals in Jamtland County

We spent the end of year holidays in Maria's cottage and do not regret our choice for a single moment. The location is idyllic, by the lake and close to many hiking trails. The cottage is comfortable and very well decorated, large enough for a family of 4. The accommodation has a direct view of the lake, we were able to observe the beautiful sunrises. The sauna is very simple to use, perfect for winter evenings. The environment is very quiet and peaceful. To go shopping or for activities you have to take the car, the roads can be a bit surprising when you're not used to them. Maria is a very friendly, responsive and considerate host. We had a great time during this stay.

We spent seven wonderful days at the property. Mats was very helpful and had valuable tips for things to do in the region. We felt very comfortable at the place!

We had an amazing Easter holiday break in Marinca's cottage. They welcomed us in the home warmly, suggested local touristic activities. The house is simply beautiful kitchenware was quite complete for anything. There were too much snow at this time of the year, so hottub and sauna were so much fun! They work with wood fire; costing more effort to run but quite enjoying as it gives the old style feeling!

The cottage and place next to the lake with the possibility of swimming sauna and fishing with the mountains like a painting in the background made us have a wonderful Easter. We also had good weather. Highly recommended.

It was a very nice holiday. The house and location are wonderful. Our hosts were just great, nothing left to be desired. We were helped with a problem with our car, as if you had known each other for a long time. I would recommend it, yes, absolutely.

We stayed here for four nights over the sports holiday as a family with three children and dog and had a great time! The house is beautifully located overlooking a lake in a quiet and private location, perfect for relaxing and dog walking. The place was homely, well equipped, tidy and practical. We especially appreciated the wood-fired sauna on the farm! Carola was nice and helpful and responded quickly to our questions. Perfect as a base for skiing in Vemdalen even if it's a bit of a drive. We are very satisfied and highly recommend this home!

Close to nature cabin, where we wake up with birds chirping and can enjoy peace and silence, but at the same time with shops, cross country tracks and the slalom slope a few kilometers by car from there. Good bed, good equipment, porch facing south, sauna...we didn't miss anything! Cozy landlords who are easy to communicate with! We would like to return to Timmerstugan, which we imagine is a good starting point for hiking trips also in summer and autumn.

Affordable accommodation with a good location for skiing in Härjedalen.

A great place. There's everything you need. We found nice hiking trails in the mountains around. Communication with Lisa was easy and quick. I can only recommend her cabin.

Beautiful cabin, quiet, private, no neighbors and a lake right outside the front door. The forest in the area invites you to explore, in winter you can walk over the ice and feel close to nature. Exactly what I was looking for in Sweden 😊 Alexandra was very friendly and made sure nothing is missing. Will definitely come back here if I come back to Sweden! 💚

Beautiful cabin with lake and mountain views. The location is really peaceful in the forest but close to the village with a small convenience store. Åre is 30 min drive so easily accessible to go skiing in winter. Jens is a great host. He took care that our arrival went in the best conditions and gave us a good instruction on how to use the accommodation and how to leave it before leaving. We loved our week-long stay.

Really cozy little cabin that suited our family perfectly. Clean and fresh with smart functional solutions. There was everything we needed and then some. Örjan was easy and quick to communicate with. We highly recommend this place.

A great place to stay and experience everything Järvsö has to offer. A very spacious villa with two floors and a lot of land around. We were 8(5 adults and 3 kids). The place is spacious enough for much more as Joakim has advertised. The kids had a lots of space to run around and play, both inside and outside the villa. It is very close to the main tourist locations with a car. Joakim and Mia were very friendly and nice to us during our visit and were non-intrusive. They live in the house next this one. Questions during the stay was mainly communicated through the air bnb app itself and they are very quick to respond. We visited by end of May. The weather was not the best due to rain. The best time would be July. We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Järsvo. The place is very beautiful. Extra notes: You need a car to reach the place. The road the leads to the home does not have any street lights so I don't know how it would be during winter.
