Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Jamtland County

My daughter and boyfriend had a lovely stay. Thank you so much for your recommendations of a taxi and garage. We hope to be back in Sweden soon for more sled dog competitions.

We stayed 6 nights with Annica and Daniel, who are very friendly and hospitable people. The moment we arrived we felt ourselves at home. The cozy holiday home was fully furnished and equipped with all conveniences. We were allowed to use everything outside. It was allowed for our kids to play with the outdoor toys and sledges. Because Annica and Daniel were on holiday themselves, we saw each other a lot. They are very friendly and could give us tips about the area. Finally, we also celebrated New Year's Eve together at the frozen lake. Thank you again, for everything!

Stephan and Tanya's cottage is very cozy, clean and comfortably furnished. Perfect for relaxing for one or more days in a super beautiful environment. All amenities are available for a wonderful stay and the friendly hosts are always available for questions and tips. Supermarket is within walking distance. I can highly recommend this great cottage! The house was well above expectations, it was large, spacious, clean and you really felt at home. Katja is a fantastic host, incredibly helpful, was attentive to our stay so that we had it as good as possible. Recommend this accommodation, we are incredibly happy with everything and will definitely return.

Nice and spacious home with all amenities you need for short and longer stays. The beds are incredibly comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and laundry room has a washing machine and tumble dryer. TV in every room. Quiet place close to nature, shop and Østersund city center. Recommended!

Great stay and fantastic sauna by the river! Highly recommend?

We had a wonderful stay with our dog in the house of Anna. We felt immediately at home. The cosy living and the well equipped kitchen are far more spacious than the pictures. If you have the time do not stay here for one or two nights but more. We walked for hours and went every day out for a cross country hike and stated at the front door. Fully recommended! We’ll come back! Anna and her husband are really superhosts!

Edsåsen became a new favorite and our home exceeded our expectations!! The cozy cottage was decorated with great care, and perfect for 2 people. And we had to bring our four-foot friend, who loves the 5th season with sun and warmth and cooling snow. We followed the path behind the cabin and were soon up in the mountains via different snowmobile tracks. The cottage is equipped with everything you need even though it is not large and the view from the porch adorable. Our thoughtful host also reached out to make sure we arrived and found our way into the cabin. We would gladly come back!!

We visited this Home during May. total of 5 family and the House was beautiful outside and inside. all rooms and kitchen and living room are specious and exact the same as shown in Pictures. kitchen was equipped with plenty of utencils and stuff which can be useful and easy to manage. Rooms are having beautiful view from everywhere and properly arranged. however we need to take bedsheets, towels and bathroom essentials but overall it was all included. Jacuzzi was spot on, we all enjoyed. Instructions were clear and Host was responsive and We enjoyed every moment of stay there. we recommend this place to everyone. Book it if it is available as you will enjoy every bit of it. There were Kids stuff also which makes them happier. Although we didn't use Barbeque due to weather but it will be good to use in summer times. we will definitely visit this place again during Winter and enjoy even more. thanks for managing this beautiful Home.

It was a very nice holiday. The house and location are wonderful. Our hosts were just great, nothing left to be desired. We were helped with a problem with our car, as if you had known each other for a long time. I would recommend it, yes, absolutely.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Adrian's and Petra's for a couple of days. They were very friendly and made us an offer to take us on a sled dog tour with their own cute dogs. We had a blast. The house was nice and comfy. We will definitely come back.

We went their on ski vacation. 6-7 minutes drive to the slopes. Clean apartment with nice kitchen, TVs and sound system. Used the wood fired sauna every night. It was a bit hard to get it above 60C in the winter but still ok. Unfortunately the hot tub was broken when we visited.

Really happy! A fantastic cottage in a great location. Magical with the hot tub and the view! Better and nicer host than Gabriella, you have to look for. This cabin and host we highly recommend!

We rented the cottage for six nights (a family of 4). We had a great time in the cabin, which is spacious and homely and has everything you need. It is a few minutes to drive to Grövelfjäll and walking distance to Storsätra mountain hotel if you want to try their dinner. The area is quiet and there are beautiful views of the mountains. Grövelsjön's good opportunities for cross-country skiing are also easy to get to. We had an electric car and had good experience charging the car at Småbruket Västerbäcken as well as at Storsätra mountain hotel. Ulrika and Rikard were great hosts, through good information and communication. Highly recommend Ulrika and Richard's cottage!

A very clean and nice place. All there to feel good. Description very accurate. Inger is a very helpful landlord living few hundred meters away but not intrusive and very nice, with direct and clear communication. People with respect of nature and environment will be delighted by the place. In winter don’t miss out ski on lake, ice cold bath in the place dedicated for this purpose. Will be glad to return

Beautiful surroundings with the possibility of swimming in Storsjön. We were able to charge our electric car overnight! The cottage had everything you needed.

This was the perfect place to experience Swedish summers although it was getting cooler. Sunsets were wonderful and so was watching the rain and the mist over the lake sitting inside the warm cabin. Note that it really is back to basics with no heating or hot water and usb ports for charging phones. The cabin was equipped with everything you might need for cooking, although Sveg wasn't far away for eating out. I was the most relaxed I've been in a while.

We have rented the cabin before a few years ago and it's not the last time! It's so charming and we enjoy it so much! The simple thing is the lovely, we think ☺️ thank you for everything!

with Google Maps, we will arrive directly at the accommodation. Tibias is extremely friendly and explained the activities to do around the cottage at length. The accommodation is very clean, very simple, no great decor certainly, but with the essentials. We didn't miss anything. A kitchen, a toilet, a hot shower and a firm bedding and great for the back! After a long day of driving, we recovered well! Thank you and we will surely come back.

We visited Isabelle over Pentecost 2025 with 4 adults and our 10-year-old daughter for 5 nights. The house is located in a very quiet district of Vemdalen. Everything was available that is necessary for a relaxing holiday. Supermarkets within 10 minutes' drive. We will keep our first vacation in Sweden in good memory.
