Great stay with friends in Japan. A uniquely wonderful experience

The sea was right in front of me, and the environment was very good, and I had a fun time. The sea paths such as the aquarium were crowded in GW, so it was more crowded than expected until I went to a private lodging house, but it was very comfortable after entering Nishitosaki. I'd love to stay there again if I get the chance.

The host was very welcoming. We had breakfast and had great conversation. There was a huge party event that we were invited to which was fun. We all sung and shared amazing stories. Highly recommend!

Michi's accommodation is very nice, located in the heart of rice fields and tea fields. It was very nice to be away from the city and in a quiet place. The train station is a 20-minute walk, but Michi came to pick me up by car at the train station and even dropped me off when I left. He's very thoughtful. Thank you Michi for this stay.

Wow this place was amazing. If you’re looking for a surf village with class and great atmosphere, this is it! They had everything we could want, gym, surfboards, bikes, sauna and a cool little pizza bar that makes a decent steak. We rented the one bedroom unit East with loft and it is perfect. The decor is beautiful and comfortable. They thought of everything. Especially for foreigners who aren’t accustomed to Japanese homes, this place feels like home. This town one of my favorite surf towns in the world. You can’t beat the vibe and surrounding farms and restaurants. The hosts and owner Hashimoto and Masayuki are awesome people and make you feel like family. We can’t wait to go back.

Such a kind and thoughtful host! Shared local recommendations and help. Very peaceful and quiet. Rural - need to get any food or items in town before driving up. I visited Mt Futago and the beach before driving to Beppu about an hour away. Wouldn’t recommend for tall people as the bedroom upstairs has a low ceiling.

A quiet inn in the countryside. The sound of insects, cats and goats, greenery and flowers, and delicious and healthy dishes will heal you from your senses. It reminds me that I am a part of nature myself.

What a beautiful house, with the most amazing hosts (and the view just cannot be beat!). We absolutely loved our week at Shigeo’s house. It’s very well located, and the house had everything we needed. Shigeo has been so helpful our entire stay and goes above and beyond for his guests. We can’t wait to visit again!

Five stars isn’t enough, the perfect relaxing location! Surrounds are so beautiful and peaceful and the sauna/spa was the best part of our Japan trip. Muto was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed, from collecting us at the train station to taking us to the beach, as well as cooking delicious breakfasts and some of the best cakes we have ever eaten. The accomodation is of a luxury standard, but feels very intimate and cozy. Lying in the bath looking out into nature is a truly special experience that we will not forget.

Moe's place was perfect! Great location for reaching all the sights if Kanazawa, plus the annex was absolutely beautiful. You can tell Moe and her husband put their heart and soul into their home. The annex was super clean & tidy, as well as being peaceful and tranquil. Stunning courtyard garden too. To top it all off Moe was really helpful, kind and sweet natured. Thank you for such a lovely place to stay and the generous hospitality!

It was a beautiful room as pictured.It was fully equipped and equipped, so I thought it would be a waste to stay for one night.

We had a fantastic stay! . We especially enjoyed making use of the under-roof BBQ area — such a great way to unwind and dine. The kitchen was impressively well equipped, with a hotplate that made preparing our own meals a breeze. We walked from the nearest station to the MapleHouse as we wanted to hike. However, it is recommended to go by your own car or by taxi. The complimentary breakfast was a surprise to us. Very thoughtful touch and truly appreciated A warm thank you to our generous and attentive host for making our visit so comfortable and enjoyable!

Small studio perfectly equipped and very well located, 5-10 min walk from Shinjuku center I will go back there when I return to Tokyo at the end of my Japanese trip!

When we arrived, we realized that we were lucky to have found a wonderful family, kind, generous and welcoming, a family that knows how to live and knows how to make others live. Of all the Airbnbs from all over the world that we have done, this one wins the prize for the best and if we could give it one more ⭐️ star, it would be well deserved. We left with a heavy heart, sad to leave such a beautiful place and such beautiful people. We have found new Nakamas and we are pretty sure that our paths will cross sooner or later. See you soon.

This place is incredibly convenient, located just a short walk from Kyoto Station, making it easy to access all the essentials nearby. There are plenty of authentic restaurants and shops just around the corner, perfect for exploring Kyoto’s local flavors. The location also offers easy access to other popular Kyoto destinations. Inside, the space is clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully arranged – everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Rokus place for a few nights on route to Kagawa. It was a fantastic property for us to unwind as a family of 2 adults and three kids. The location was strategic as a launch pad to several hiking destinations, road trips, and rafting adventures. Would highly recommend this place. Our 6 year old loved exploring the garden with Rokus friendly son.

I had a comfortable 2-night stay in a beautifully renovated interior.I was very grateful to be able to use the washing machine and dryer as much as I wanted, and even after returning home, I had no laundry, and I thought it was good to stay at this inn. There was a supermarket and a tavern nearby, and it was nice to be able to walk around! Thank you.✨

Our stay at Shin's AirBnB was AMAZING and truly unforgettable. The home felt like a boutique hotel, beautifully designed with the eye of an architect—stylish, serene, and full of thoughtful details. What made it even more special was the host’s extraordinary kindness and generosity. Shin treated us like close family friends, picking us up from the airport, drove us to the island’s top spots, serving delicious homemade Japanese breakfasts, and even lending us snorkelling gear. Every need was met with care and warmth. Staying here elevated our first time in Ishigaki into something truly special. We left feeling not only refreshed, but deeply grateful. It was a good location, about a 15-minute drive from Izumo Taisha Shrine, and the train was very close. There are also toys, picture books, dishes, chairs, etc. for small children, so I recommend staying with children. The furniture and interior were also very stylish, and I had a comfortable stay as if I was staying in a hotel, including amenities. It was 0 years old, including adults and children, and a total of 15 people up to 60 years old, but everyone was very satisfied. The owner was also a very friendly and kind person. I'd love to stay again if I get the chance!
