Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Kiel Canal

A truly wonderful experience of being able to stay in a so called Idyllic "Reethaus", kind of region traditional if you ask me. The house and apartment within are wonderfully positioned in a peacefull street on the outskirts of village, having plain fields in sight. Plenty of country side roads and outdoor space to explore, right out of doorstep. Bakery and groceries are within walking distance or a short ride with car. Apartment itself is well equiped, even for an extended stay. It has enough storage drawers for clothes and personal belongings. Kitchen offers all a person could wish for. Bathroom is pleasantly decorated and feels fresh and new. Bedroom has a large and comfortable bed. Free outside parking is always available. From day one, hosts were amazing and communication was always on point. They were also kind enough to adapt to one day late arrival, due to my flight delays. Returning up North, with no hesitation at all, I would once more choose my stay with Julius and Svea.

We had a great time at Birte‘s place! The house is located in a beautiful and quiet location. The garden with direct access to the water and many sheep was our highlight :) we would definitely come back and can recommend to anyone looking for a place to wind down and enjoy nature!

I had a fantastic stay in this apartment! It is not only beautifully furnished and clean, but also perfectly equipped. I was even able to bake here undisturbed for the wooden wedding of friends. Absolutely recommended.

The lüttje Huus is a dream. It is located in the middle of the old town, all shops and activities in the city are within walking distance. The small square in the courtyard is nice to sit outside and inside it is very cozy. A treat for people who like wooden furniture! Everything you need. Only bed linen must be brought.

A very well-equipped house, where nothing is missing, if you have no objection to the old-fashioned style. But what is already clearly visible in the photos. We especially liked the garden and the children's toys.

One of the most beautiful apartments on Airbnb we've been allowed to stay in so far. Absolutely clean, tastefully decorated, spacious, a very well-equipped kitchen, large bathroom, a washing machine in the basement, beautiful view of nature (there was even a deer in the garden), there is a fireplace for cold days, a beautiful terrace and a garden, we were more than thrilled and immediately felt really comfortable. I can only highly recommend the house! We did very nice hikes in the area from there. A very nice clean beach in Mommark can be reached by car in just under 10 minutes, the nearest major cities are also not far away by car. The house made us really happy, also because our dog was warmly welcome there. I can only give the best rating here!

"Dat Au Huus" is simply worth every cent. It is very lovingly renovated and equipped with everything you need. There's nothing missing. You feel very comfortable right away. Everything is very, very clean and well maintained. You have a lot of space and the garden and the terrace are also a dream. Communication with Sonja is very friendly, uncomplicated and fast. Exemplary! And their homemade welcome curd cheese balls were very tasty. 👍 We give everything to stars, and definitely recommend this accommodation! Thanks for the nice days.

Jara's place is beautiful, quiet and corresponds to the description. You are on your own and surrounded by the beautiful nature. Jara was accessible at all times and allowed us a flexible check-in. Through the instructions she put together, we were able to orient ourselves well and plan activities. Even with a dog, it is a dream, as you can walk directly from the house.

We felt at home in this accommodation from the first moment. The view of the well-kept garden with the pool is a real highlight - holiday feeling guaranteed! You can reach the city center in a reasonable time by bus and tram. Our tip: We bought the ticket via the HVV app. All in all, a wonderful and stylish accommodation that we would like to book again when we are in Hamburg. The check-in worked wonderfully without problems, the sauna was fabulous as well as the pool. quiet environment Parking in front of the property wonderful, restaurant just around the corner not far into the city. We felt super comfortable and would definitely use it again and recommend it to others.

We were on our way back from our vacation and booked an overnight stay with Nadine. A sweet guest house in a quiet location. Spotless, modern and equipped with everything you need. Also for our dog Zelda, water bowls, treats and a dog bed were included. Communication with Nadine was also smooth. She was always available and very helpful. An absolutely great house that is well maintained. Sauna and swimming pool are very easy to use. Beautiful footpaths in the surrounding area and by bike or car the cities of the surrounding area. However, the contact is not via Holidu, but via the very friendly and helpful owner. We have been to many holiday houses, this is probably hard to beat.

I'm here for the second time and I'm super satisfied again. Top location, the apartment is well equipped, central and yet quiet. I'd be happy to come back anytime. Thank you 🙂

It was a fantastic accommodation, no human soul there, whether dog or human we could move freely. Everything was clean and everything you need was there. We felt very comfortable. The hot tub was the absolute highlight:-))) Will definitely be back

This location is beautiful and relaxing. I will miss it as I continue onward with my travels. One thing I would have done different is to purchase a week long pass for the Ferry ride. My travels include using the Ferry daily but that is not the case for everyone. Also schedule additional time for travel using the Ferry because you may not get on the Ferry boat immediately due to the amount of cars waiting. I would anticipate an additional half hour for travel. I loved hearing the birds in the morning and even heard a Cuckoo bird. Fun. I would consider staying there again.

We were 2 families with 4 children and had a wonderful time. The property has plenty of space. The quiet location is great for relaxing and the children love the well-kept play barn. Everything is in great condition and very well maintained. We will be happy to come back!

We had a great week with our two sons (2.5 and 5 years old)! The accommodation is highly recommended, super nice apartment, lots of play options for the kids, indoors and outdoors and a super nice hostess. The area is very quiet, which means you need a car, but that is also clear from the description. For this, you can let the children play outside undisturbed and we also slept very well. Many nice getaways nearby.

We had a wonderful time at Anja and Max's and enjoyed our stay to the fullest! The children were particularly enthusiastic - the many great toys inside and outside provided a lot of fun and variety. We adults also got our money's worth: the cozy sauna was a real highlight and contributed to the perfect relaxation. We had a lovely extended weekend on the houseboat! The location was fantastic – quiet, right on the water, with beautiful views. The boat was very clean, well equipped and cozily furnished, with everything you need. We especially liked the small terrace, perfect for breakfast or the evening. An absolute recommendation for those who want to experience something different and relax! I'm sure we'll be back.

We enjoyed our stay for four with dog in the Norderdiekhuus. The location is fantastically beautiful, with plenty of peace and privacy, yet much is quickly and easily accessible. The house is very high quality and nothing was missing, so we didn't have to worry about anything during our time there. The living area and kitchens are more than high-quality, the terrace is inviting and the bedrooms have a great view of the beautiful nature. Each of us would recommend this accommodation without reservation.

We were enchanted from the very first moment!❤️My friend didn't know where we were going for our 10th anniversary until we arrived and was thrilled. A great cabin, an incredibly beautiful view and great amenities! We were able to switch off and enjoyed the peace and the time together very much. And the view of the pasture with my beloved Highland cows was simply beautiful...especially from a cozy bed. Dennis & Lena were always available, helpful and very friendly. Mikaela prepared her place at absolutely short notice so we could get in. That was already amazing. The place was quiet and nothing was missing. Just the right thing to do.

We made a stopover at Judith and Torben's on the way back from Denmark. Both very helpful and friendly people. It was a very nice experience for us. In the morning after getting up, you can look directly at the cowshed and the calves. A great environment with beautiful hiking trails that we could explore with our dog.
