The guest house is very cozy and stylish with many details, such as furniture, windows, etc., which have been designed and built in individual production and with a lot of love for detail. Lovingly and with care, we have furnished our thatched cottage - in the hope that you and your family and / or friends will feel at home! A newly covered, local thatched roof, the restoration of the old dormer and a careful approach to the expansion in order to preserve as much as possible - that was important to us and characterizes this unique building. Unfortunately, we are not suitable for party groups!

"Blockhütte" Quellental in wonderful surroundings

Welcome to our little log cabin! The accommodation is part of our Quellental forest estate in Odderade, Dithmarschen district and is located in the middle of a forest clearing, nestled in a picturesque pond area. Our forestry operation is part of the largest forest area on the North Sea coast, the Riesewohld. Here, 700 hectares of partly uncultivated, natural forest invite you to linger and explore.

Vacation in a historic farmhouse

This historic building is a typical North German farmhouse and is located on the edge of a small village with unobstructed views of the hilly countryside. Our 2-hectare natural property is adjacent to our own meadow behind the house, with many cozy spots under trees and by the stream. We renovated the cottage with natural materials and furnished it comfortably, e.g. with a fireplace and small sauna.

Relax in this unique and beautifully located place. Here you can actively explore nature on forest walks and bike tours, swimming in the nearby lake, or relaxing in the hammock in the large fruit tree garden, by the crackling campfire under the stars. If it gets cold and uncomfortable, a sauna house is also available on request.
