Naturhaus Altmühltal

Our nature house consists entirely of natural building materials and uses the synergy effects of radiant heat and solar energy. The untreated wood is constructed according to the system of Bio-Solar-Haus, whereby no paint or other preservatives were processed. The solid wood floors throughout the house are oiled. In addition to natural wood such as stone pine and oak, other natural materials such as natural stone from the region (Jura marble) have been processed. The construction of the Bio-Solar house allows a natural air circulation and thus dispenses with the disadvantages of ventilation systems. There are no convection formed due to a built-ceiling and wall radiant heating.Through the house-in-house system (without vapor barrier), the water vapor can diffuse freely to the outside, causing no condensation and mold. Given the low heating energy demand in the house and the use of solar radiation, no fossil fuels are needed. Solar energy is the main energy source, only in winter can be heated if necessary with the wood stove. Service we are happy to bring you fresh, crispy and wholesome bread rolls from a BIO-bakery from our region.

I rent out a nice little apartment in the basement, about 38 m² and fully equipped. Stammham is located in Upper Bavaria, about 12 km north of Ingolstadt/Audi, 5 minutes by car to the A9, Munich 55 minutes, Regensburg approx. 1 hour, Nuremberg 55 minutes, Ingolstadt Village 10 minutes, to the Danube Gorge approx. 30 minutes and to the Altmühltal Nature Park about 13 minutes. We have a Netto supermarket, restaurants, butchers, bakers, a doctor and a Raiffeisenbank in the village.

The small apartment is stylish and lovingly furnished and is located in a beautiful, quiet environment. Ideal for short hikes or walks. Everything was very clean. The terrace with a view of the garden is also particularly beautiful. Peter is a very likeable host and can give good tips about the stay. He was always approachable, very pleasant and friendly. All in all, a great place to feel really comfortable on vacation!

We had a very nice weekend in the apartment with our two children. If you love history, you've come to the right place, the historic tower has a lot to tell. The apartment is very spacious, but beware: sometimes you have to duck your head. Thick walls ensure pleasantly cool temperatures. Everything is there in the kitchen, including drinks & snacks. The children loved the whirlpool bathtub, there was even a selection of bath foam. Bring games & paper yourself, although the internal apartment phone is the best toy anyway. The area is enchanting, Greding is a very pretty and well-kept place. Around the corner there are two bakeries, several inns, an ice cream parlor, swimming pool, playground. And in 15 minutes you are in the Altmühltal Dino Park near Denkendorf, which we can highly recommend. The communication with Patrick was excellent, thank you for letting us be your guests!

We enjoyed an extended WE here. A really nice place to stay. Cozily decorated and very well equipped. With everything you need and more, even with the "little things" - even spices we found in abundance in the kitchen. Great and nice contact with Regina , she was always accessible for questions. The guest folder with tips for bakers, food, shopping, etc. was there as well as all the information about the apartment. So we were able to get started right away. The location is great, very quiet and with beautiful views over the lake. And yet centrally located for activities such as climbing (Hohenglücksteig / Norissteig) , cycling tours through the Oberpfälzer Seenland (four lakes or Schwarzachtal cycle path) or a trip to Donaustauf or Regensburg, which we also made everything extensive. So the 3 days were actually too short.... All in all, a (secret) tip for the region.
