Apartment holiday rentals in Kitty Hawk

Our stay at the Sit N' Duck was absolutely perfect! The residence is well laid out with amenities to make your stay as easy and care-free as possible. Mary and Larry provided everything we could have possibly needed, and the washer and dryer were a helpful additional touch. If we wanted a beach day, it was only a 2-minute walk to a very secluded and peaceful section of the beach with great views, the sound of the ocean, and pristine waves. We brought a small beach cart which was easily maneuvered out and down the beach access boardwalk, but if you're packing light it wouldn't be hard to carry everything for the short distance. Even in the rain, there are wonderful covered sitting areas to sit out and enjoy the rain as we read a book or just chatted. Additionally, there's no shortage of things to do nearby in a short drive up to Duck or down to Kitty Hawk or Kill Devil Hills. We couldn't have imagined a better trip to OBX and we look forward to hopefully staying again in the future!

Place was exactly we described. Great location and very nice home.

Very clean, well appointed and well located place. Host was very helpful and communicated often. Close and easy to beach, close to Wright Brothers monument. Easy access to shopping and restaurants. We would recommend and will stay again next time we are in the Outer Banks.

Our stay at Michaela’s rental was perfect. As a host, she went above and beyond, from her written reviews of places and restaurants to every little detail thought through and available within the rental. She was thoughtful, responsive and truly cares about her guests experience. As for her property, it is situated very close to the bay and a great walking / bike trail (paved) along the bay and on a quiet street. Hands down, one of our best experiences at an AirBnB rental and would definitely stay at one of her properties again.

Liz and Steve were phenomenal to deal with. The location was perfect, the place was beautiful, and it was very clean. Their communication with us was awesome as well. I will be looking to stay with them again!

This place is a GEM! The apartment was pristine. Decor was cute and offered a relaxing vibe. We loved the black out shades option. Top to bottom I can’t say enough. Rachel had every thing you can imagine you may need, down to a sewing kit. She thought of it all. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. The area was exceptionally quiet but we rode our bikes daily about 15-20 min up to Duck to local restaurants and shops. The back road will take you to the walking/bike trail and keep you off the Main Street. The beach is literally a one min drive to the parking area, which we loved having access to the private entrance. I also genuinely loved the soaps and toiletry samples. We’d stay again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I I had a wonderful stay! The place looked exactly like the photos—very clean, well-kept, and comfortable. The house was so cute and had everything I needed! Plenty of towels, clean bedroom! Mary and James helped with local recommendations and responded quickly! I was very pleased with my experience and would definitely stay here again if I’m ever in the area. Highly recommend!

Sam and Katy were wonderful hosts leaving nothing to be desired. Our stay was very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and the surroundings serene and beautiful. We rode our bikes around and saw a bit of wildlife. The pool was a dream, and so were the accommodations. We made use of the outdoor shower more than once! The large deck outside our door, furnished with cushiony furniture, overlooks the pool and the lovely backyard--a perfect spot for morning coffee. The king size bed and linens made for a very comfy night's sleep, and the full bathroom was equipped with plush bath towels. There were even pool towels, beach towels, chairs, umbrella and more for our use. There was wine in the wine fridge, coffee & Keurig, snacks and a sweet kitchenette for our use. This place is beautifully decorated, tastefully furnished, and amply appointed. We were a short drive from the beaches, fine dining and so many other attractions--the location is ideal. I highly recommend a stay here!

Woods and Waves was the perfect spot for our vacation. Christy is an excellent and responsive host who went above and beyond to meet our every need. The apartment is cozy and adorably outfitted. The beds were comfortable (plus the alcove beds were equipped with an excellent selection of books and reading pillows). Every amenity was taken care of - the kitchen was stocked with dishes and cookware as well as coffee and snacks, and there were ample paper products and detergents for the dishwasher and washer/dryer. Every beach need was anticipated (including chairs, umbrella, and a backpack cooler). And the pool is a magical lagoon paradise that is shaded in the late afternoon - perfect after a day of relaxing in the sun on the beach. Don't hesitate if you're considering Woods and Waves - you will not be disappointed!!

Great location! We frequented Chili Peppers Costal Grill, an 8 minute walk from Nadia's! Very convenient to the beach, and so nice having the beach chairs and cooler to take along. Quiet, friendly neighborhood. Definitely recommend!

It was a gorgeous apt. We loved being able to use the bikes and the space.

The New Deal was amazing! Worth the price for me and my wife. It was just what we needed. Walking distance to the beach (about 3 minutes, if that) and was located right by a public beach access with parking. He was very responsive and kept to himself, very private. 10/10 would recommend. Amazing stay!

We had a great stay. Everything was neat and clean. Comfortable. Lots of dishes to use. The pool was nice and the little walk to the beach was nice. Loved being able to sit on the balcony and see the ocean. 10/10!

The home was clean and instructions were very easy to follow. Since we were looking for a peaceful location on this trip, it fit the bill. The view was worth the cost. We knew there would be others around, as it was described accurately and clearly as a condo community. Supplies were very sufficient for us, and the owners were responsive. Enjoyed this trip!

Our stay at Erica’s Airbnb exceeded expectations. It was exactly as described—private, spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with thoughtful extras. The location was perfect: centrally located to everything, yet tucked away in a peaceful, quiet spot. It had everything we needed and more. Our favorite part was being able to walk right out the door and hike up Jockey’s Ridge to catch the sunset. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone vacationing in the area. Thank you, Erica!

Excellent location near the public beach in Kill Devil Hills. Everything in the house matches the description and photos perfectly. The cleanliness is outstanding, and the beds are soft and very comfortable. The house is well equipped with dishes, utensils, appliances, and cleaning and laundry supplies. Note that there is no dishwasher, as mentioned in the listing. Overall, we had a very positive experience and are truly grateful for the warm welcome.

To start off, this was mine and my boyfriend’s first time doing vacation by ourselves as we are only 18 years old. Christina was very polite, friendly, and personable upon meeting. On top of that, she was very responsive to any of our questions! It means a lot to us that she was so trusting in letting us stay at her suite despite the common assumptions among young adults behaviors. The suite itself was very cozy and perfect for two! The shower being spacious was such a pleasant surprise. The hot tub was cherry on top. Our favorite activity during the stay being the bikes she kindly lends to guests. The suite was very clean and the AC worked great. Close walk to the beach & any stores you have in mind! Would definitely come back again😁

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was exactly how it looked in the pictures. It was in a very convenient location close to restaurants, shops, & the beach. We would recommend to others and come again!

Absolutely phenomenal, 10 Star host!! Pat communicated with me throughout our booking and stay. During our stay we did have a few questions and she answered quickly. She has a convenient ice maker within the space and while we were there it broke. She immediately ordered a new one and was going to send Chuck to get us bags of ice until the new one arrived. We weren't worried about it but just the thought of them doing that was a plus! She met us at check-in and was very thorough explaining not just everything about the space but also a whole lot about the area, places to go, things to do and such. Both Pat and Chuck are extremely friendly and easy to talk to!! All the extras she included for us was absolutely amazing! She truly thinks about her guests and we could tell it's not just a money thing for them! Just as described, the beach is literally about 100 steps away and so totally enjoyable!! We will definitely be staying at Heathsville OBX in the near future! Thank you so, so much!

The location of this Airbnb was perfect and Gia the host provided ample recommendations and helpful information making our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. The accommodations were just like the pictures, very clean, and the hot tub was amazing. Would love to stay here again on our next visit to OBX.

Location was great and located a short distance to just about anything you could imagine. 10/10 would recommend and we will definitely be staying here again if we come back to the OBX.
