Waterfront holiday rentals in Kitty Hawk

Our stay at Eric's exceeded expectations. Truly a beautiful house, spotlessly clean, well appointed. Eric was a great communicator from the time I made my reservation to the time I left the house, quickly answering all questions, giving recommendations and dealing with a small problem we had promptly. I would say that this house is one of the rare places on Airb&b that looks *better* than the pictures. Thank you so much!

We had a great three night stay, my three adult children and I. The beach was surprisingly almost ours to ourselves. For an older traditional OBX house, it was well updated and very well appointed. The central floor plan is very open. I love it when you can be in the kitchen cooking while talking to everybody in the living area and those around the dinner table at the same time. Awesome view of the ocean off the back deck. We sat in the hot tub and still see the ocean. Im sometimes leary of hot tubs at the beach, a lot of times they are not well maintained. Danielle's was spotless and the water chemistry was perfect and safe. There was absolutely nothing we needed or any place where we needed to go that was not within a 5-minute drive. All of my family are fisherman. if you like to fish, there's not a better place to stay. getting from the house to the beach to surf fish takes less than a minute. we walked up to the OBX Pier several times to fish, probably less than a 5 minute walk.

Perfect location, clean and comfortable.

The condo was very charming with new appointments and has a beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed sunrise each morning and the sound of the waves crashing each night. The kitchen was well equipped and had sufficient space for the two of us. It was also nice to have both a full and half bath as well as a door between the sink area and toilet/shower in the full bath. Having several options for coffee with espresso, drip, and a Keurig was a big plus A few observations we want to share. It would be very tight to fit 6 people in the place but you could comfortably have two couples or a couple with two kids with the second pair on the sleeper sofa. Overall it was a great stay for our anniversary weekend!!!

This was a second time staying at Salty Shenanigans and we had another fantastic stay! Beautiful upgrades were made this year to the unit. Condo is super clean and includes all of the amenities. Cost is worth having the ability to walk to the pool, beach and back again without getting in the car. Our 3 year old loves the splash pad and zero entry pool.

I booked this location for our 2 year anniversary and it was an incredible stay. The view was perfect and the house was everything we needed for a few days stay. Gene was incredibly kind and even allowed us to check in early which worked out perfectly for us. The listing was just as described and honestly much more head space in the main room than we originally thought. The internet was great which was incredibly useful for our remote work. Couldn't recommend a better stay in the OBX for the price and location.

Incredible location and views (of sunrises and sunsets); great for kids! There was a problem with the storm door that Katie herself came by to fix when maintenance was unavailable on a holiday weekend :) The place was clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the pool was great (opening weekend and very clean). The only thing to note is that this might not be a great place for you if you're sensitive to noise - there was a wedding at one of the huge houses one night under a tent and we could hear every song they played, as well as footsteps from the people staying above us. This isn't a make or break for us, and we would stay at Katie's place again in a heartbeat.

Rebecca is a great host. We felt right at home and the place is lovely. The entire condo was shining clean. It was a nice touch to have shampoos etc and towels ready. The walk in shower was a delight. The kitchen was well stocked and made it easy to cook. Yes overall the kitchen served our needs. We found the beds to be the best ever and we stay on ObX annually for 40 years!! Definitely great sleep. Thanks for a great week.

I really appreciated the communication I had with Dave as we definitely walked to the local grill next-door and had an amazing dinner! I thought it was a great location, could see the ocean and sunrises and public access to the beach was just a short walk! It was great. Thanks Dave!

Had a wonderful stay! Perfect for a small family. Katie was very easy to communicate with she answered all my questions in a timely manner. Will definitely be back.
