Kid-friendly holiday rentals in La Couarde-sur-Mer

We had a lovely stay at this place. We discovered La Couarde, which we really liked (central square on the island, caterers, covered market with few stalls but quality, kindness of the people we met ...). We were a little far from the center on foot but we didn't mind (25 minute walk). The residence where the accommodation is located is very pleasant and has all the amenities (tennis court, ping pong table in a covered place, small green space...) Only thing a little inconvenient to the noise from the road to Ars. The interior of the accommodation was very nice and cozy, with a large comfortable sofa and a large table, the bedding was fine and all the kitchenware was there. Communication with our host was discreet

Beautiful rental tastefully arranged. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the quiet of the neighborhood. The presence of the jacuzzi is a plus👍.

An excellent stay in La Couarde in this accommodation Clean, very well decorated, very well equipped, very comfortable, with a pleasant and well-equipped outdoor space and close to the city center, the tourist office and shuttles for the whole island (ideal when you come without a car) Some suggestions: - offer a map of the island and shuttle schedules (we left some) - Make the operating instructions for the household appliances available: a little complicated with the coffee maker...😊

Very good stay, the apartment was clean, with the essentials upon our arrival, well arranged and very nice. It is close to the beach and shops. At this time (May) the neighborhood remains relatively quiet. The terrace is not opposite and well oriented, the swimming pool of the residence is heated and the room by bike appreciable. Our interactions with Alice and Salima were very pleasant and efficient, thank you so much! A good place to remember.

We had a pleasant short stay at Dorothée and Franck's. We particularly appreciated the location: in the center of the village of La Couarde and quiet. The place has a lot of charm and has been tastefully furnished. It is indeed not suitable for infants or people with reduced mobility, but it was clearly stated. Our teens loved the cabin under the rooftop side.

Great stay in this beautiful house! Well located, everything is in compliance, nothing to report! Only downside: the top bunk beds creak a lot when you move at night.

We were warmly welcomed by Sylvie, who was very available and gave good advice to discover the activities and beaches of the surroundings. She allowed us to arrive at the time that suited us, which greatly facilitated our installation. The apartment is impeccable: clean, well maintained and pleasant to live in. It offers a partial view of the sea, which adds to the charm of the stay. I highly recommend this address for a successful stay in peace.

A very central and comfortable apartment on the first floor. The location at the market and close to good coffee shops and restaurants is perfect. The kitchen is well equipped, a nice shower and use of a plug in fan for hot evenings. The second bedroom is smaller but we didn’t use this. Baby facilities of a cot, changing table etc also very useful. Thank you Clotilde!

I would not hesitate to recommend staying here. The house is immaculate, ideally position closed to the town, market, shops car parking and bike rental which are all walkable. The house is very tastefully furnished and the kitchen has everything we needed during our stay. The bed was super comfortable and very big. The host provided an excellent digital reference book prior to arrival with details of everything we needed to know. Our trip to the Ile de Re was the highlight of our recent French holiday. The island is beautiful and best explored by bicycle (imo) as some of the beauty cannot be seen from the roads, such as oyster bars overlooking the sea along one of the bike paths. Definitely worth going. Thank you Kevin for a wonderful stay. You could not have been more helpful.

Excellent location: The accommodation is very clean and functional. Dominique is welcoming and accommodating. Special mention to the bedding of great comfort. Ideally located, the residence is very pleasant, Saint Martin en Ré is a charming village. I highly recommend it.

Corinne is such an amazing and responsive host, and her place was exactly what we needed. Would 100% recommend. A bit about the apartment: it looked exactly as described, comfortable and clean. Its location probably can’t be better since it was right by the pier of Saint-Martin, a very charming and calm village. Now, the real stars were the hosts. Corinne herself was very responsive and proactive and even though she wasn’t there at check-in, she arranged for a family member to not only be there and greet us, but also drive us from the La Rochelle train station to the island. She also called the bus company to confirm our bus time upon departure and was kind enough to allow a later check in so we had a place to leave our belongings while waiting for our train. Overall, amazing hosts. Thank you!

Ideally located, this accommodation is perfect for discovering the island of Ré and its beautiful landscapes by bike (rental right next door, friendly). The little extra is the sauna. Beautiful decoration, well-equipped. Good communication with the host who gives good advice. Parking right across.

We had a great stay in the accommodation offered by Christophe!! The host is charming and the apartment is even better than in the photos. Idyllic stay on the island of Ré thanks to this impeccable and ideally located studio. Elisabeth is a caring host who does not hesitate to give valuable advice and good tips. The studio is very well equipped and very clean. Ideally located on the port of Saint-Martin, we are however quiet even with the windows open, and its location makes it very easy to access the bike paths to explore the whole island. Thank you Elisabeth for your hospitality, we will definitely be back!!!!

Excellent stay in Arnaud's apartment. Very well received by Fadia. The location is perfect for going to La Rochelle in 10 minutes on foot by the sea.

We spent 2 incredible days in the heart of the Île de Ré. We were able to book the accommodation at the last minute, which allowed us to leave unexpectedly :)
