Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in La Jolla, San Diego

We met Rachel by chance at check-in. She greeted us very kindly and immediately showed us the entrance. The accommodation matches the pictures with many small details. Great location, as only a few minutes' walk to Little Italy ( great restaurants ), the harbor and Balboa Park. The only points of criticism (are, however, personal concerns and matters of opinion): The mattress was too uncomfortable for us, as a hollow forms when lying down for a long time. In addition, you could not open a window to ventilate, which was difficult because the entire accommodation is open and you cannot close off any area separately. ( Odor from eating and bathroom steam ) Also, it was a bit dark in the accommodation as not much daylight comes in. Partly very loud due to the opposite highway and the landing planes. We felt very comfortable and would stay here again.

Staying at wade’s was amazing. I felt comfortable in the neighborhood and in the retreat as well! Quiet and peaceful, bed was so comfortable I slept like a rock. Would highly recommend staying at Wade’s retreats!

Comfortable place, great location. Kai was super helpful, accommodating, and responsive to questions. The bikes were a big plus. Would stay there again.

Jessica’s place is great! Views are amazing. Place is clean. Location was perfect. And parking wasn’t too bad if you’re strategic with return times. Would recommend 12/10 times.

This was the perfect spot in SD! Ideal location to be able to get to a bunch of neighborhoods, sandwiched between Pacific Beach and La Jolla. Gorgeous space and super comfortable for a solo traveler or small family. I absolutely loved my stay here!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy studio in Solana Beach! Highlights include the unbeatable location—just steps from Fletcher Cove Park (with beach access, picnic areas and sunsets), a few blocks from the train station and Cedros Design District (home to boutiques, cafes and the famous Belly Up music venue), and near great restaurants like Claire’s, Pizza Port, Pillbox, Lofty Coffee, Chief’s Burgers, Gelato 101 and Rustic Root. While there’s no nearby grocery store, CVS is walkable and Instacart worked well. Don’t miss the Sunday farmers market! The studio, though cozy, was well-equipped with a full kitchen, comfy bed, spacious bathroom and access to laundry and patios (the upper one has ocean views!). Our hosts were incredibly communicative and caring. Highly recommend these cute lofts for anyone wanting a true local experience in Solana Beach!!!

Seriously one of the best AirBnb’s I’ve stayed in. Amazing location. Can walk to the bays and to groceries and eateries. Very well equipped. Spacious. Bed was so comfortable too! Thank you so much for sharing your space!

We had a lovely Memorial Day weekend at Richard's place!! Very cute cottage that was clean, bright, and had all the amenities. We loved that he included a wagon, beach chairs, umbrella, and beach toys for us to use. The beach was an easy few blocks away and took about 10 to 15 minutes to get to. Restaurants are within walking distance too. There were also plenty of bikes and helmets available to use and my family was able to enjoy a lovely ride in the neighborhood. Richard was very responsive, helpful, and kind. We enjoyed ourselves and look forward to going back!!

This was my first time searching and booking a place to stay using Airbnb and I found a winner! The house was bright, clean, spacious and comfortable. I loved the open kitchen/living room, having two full bathrooms, and two bedrooms on either side of the living room. The outdoor patio and seating areas were lovely. I felt comfortable and cared for, and was appreciative of Shawn’s communication and consideration.

This was an absolutely unforgettable place. Anthony and his wife, Shannon, were perfect hosts. They left a binder with plenty of great recommendations of places around the area to check out, and on our first night when we were out shopping for groceries, they were more than happy to provide some essentials (cooking oil, spices, etc.)! The place itself feels so cozy and was an excellent little getaway. I ended up proposing to my girlfriend (now fiancée) here, and Anthony and Shannon left us so gorgeous flowers and a note as a congratulations. I really can’t speak higher of this place. It’s so welcoming and you really can’t find nicer, more respectful hosts. TLDR: easily the best stay in San Diego! You’re going to love it!

The location is unbeatable!! Neighbors were friendly and we felt so safe! We loved the upstairs perch and the common area that was outside!

Lisa and Menotti have a beautiful beach escape that was perfect for our small group celebrating a birthday. The sliding door and balcony were beautiful and such a nice feature to let in the beach breeze. The house was pristine, comfortable, and so well designed. All amenities you would need. The hosts were super responsive and helpful and accommodated a late check out which allowed us to wake up early and check out low tide in the morning! Definitely will stay again.

We loved Max's place. Big open room concept and walkable to many restaurants in the neighborhood. Loved the outdoor area as well.

I stayed at Laura's place with my wife and a 2-year-old. It was very pleasant stay within walkable distance from Windansea beach and 5-min drive to La Jolla downtown. It felt like home while we were there. Would highly recommend the place to anyone planning to stay in La Jolla!

We stayed at Sunny Jim’s last week and the location was perfect. It was a very short walk to La Jolla Cove and the Children’s Pool. We noticed parking at these places was awful and we were so thankful we didn’t have to hunt for a parking spot. Instead, we just walked! We were also able to visit Sunny Jim’s Sea Cave (located downstairs) for free. The line gets really long in the afternoon so we went right when they opened and basically had the place to ourselves. The house was nice and had enough beds for a family of 5 to sleep comfortably. The soaker tub was great at the end of a long day and the shower with the rain head and other sprayers was great too. The bathroom off the kitchen was smaller so we almost always used the primary bathroom for bathing. The back porch had a great view of the ocean and you could get a small peak of some sea lions. My 9 year old and I laughed that we went to bed and woke up to the distant sound of sea lions barking every day.

Clean, relaxing and right on the ocean! We LOVED our stay and would love to come back again. Great communication and staff too!

We had a wonderful stay at Kim’s place in San Diego! The condo was clean, centrally located and very spacious. The gated garage was awesome, and we loved staying on an upper floor with great views. We arrived very late in the night, and Kim was kind enough to stay awake to meet us with the keys and codes. We had a great time staying there during the long weekend!

We loved are stay! Easy to walk to grocery market, beach and restaurants.

Overall, a good stay. The Airbnb accommodated my needs, and I did not need to make any additional requests. A walkable neighborhood with different convenient stores and coffee shops. Molly was good with communication.

Tony’s listing was exactly as described in photos & writeup. Very clean & on point. Responds quickly & gave us a heads up prior about a Marathon going on so we could plan travel accordingly. Located in area where you can walk to local restaurants & bars. If traveling to San Diego again, I will most certainly book this place again.

Perfect rental for our needs. Close to family we needed to visit. Close to the beach. Close to Nautilus and La Jolla Blvd for easy commuting. Very ample and easy-to-use parking. Very private as well.

We had a fabulous time at Anissa’s place. The apartment was perfectly located with an amazing view of the ocean from the living room. The restaurants are within 15-20 min walking distance and we liked the fact that the windansea area is more residential and less touristy. The apartment does require blinds to be used for privacy as it is right on the road within eye level and these need some repair.
