I am a San Diego local, but my family was coming to town and we needed more space. I picked this place because I knew my sister and brother-in-law would love being able to walk to all the restaurants and brewery nearby and my 6 year old nephew would get a lot of use out of the pool. The place exceeded my expectations, it was perfect for everyone. We spent a lot of time in the backyard swimming or playing board games, and my Mom got a lot of use out of the hot tub. Communication with the host was excellent and the place was comfortable and clean. The only downside is my family might visit too often now!

Our host John provides a beautifully decorated home in a quiet, central neighborhood. The setup is exceptional, with both a heated pool and hot tub, and the experience felt like staying in a boutique hotel. He thoughtfully includes amenities like toothbrushes, makeup remover wipes, cotton pads, and more — the attention to detail really impressed us. We absolutely loved our time in La Jolla, and John’s local tips were spot-on. We’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend booking with him.

We had an incredible stay at Miguel’s Airbnb! The highlight was definitely the pool – it was sparkling clean and well-maintained. Everything was exactly as described, and Miguel was a fantastic host, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, private and hassle-free getaway!

We loved our stay, Bruce was so friendly and very accommodating. We had quite a large group stay there, 2 of my kiddos included- Bruce had a little bucket of toys to play with for them which was such a nice surprise. The house was clean and everything in working order. While we were there, most of our time was spent outside in the beautiful backyard where there was such a great vibe! We’d for sure stay here again next time we’re in San Diego!

We have stayed in many different types of homes both good and bad. But, I’ve gotta say “This one has been BY FAR, THE BEST”!! The view as well as the house is absolutely amazing. The design of the home is gorgeous. The house was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. I must mention the squatty potties and bidet’s in the bathrooms… SUPERB!! Before booking my reservation, I asked Van if I could have my family and friends (about 10 people) come over after a graduation ceremony and he said yes. He even accommodated us with extra tables and chairs. My friends and family all loved the place. Van always replied to my messages no matter the time of day or night. There was a hiccup with the fire alarms in the house which was completely out of Van’s control, but he handled it well. He personally appeared to resolve the issue. Meeting Van in person did not disappoint. He is as nice in person as he is in messages. We are definitely going to come back.

The place was clean and well-kept. The 5 rooms had comfortable beds and individual A/C units, adding to the comfort. The backyard was great for hosting. The only minor criticism was the lack of instructions for the fire pit. I managed to turn it on successfully; it produced a strong fire, perfect for cozy nights. There was adequate seating for everyone. Inside, the house felt clean, including the bathrooms. The living room had a large couch and the dining area had a large table, accommodating our group's size. A small improvement would be to hang the towels in the bathrooms to avoid a scavenger hunt. The wifi was down upon arrival and never regained function despite troubleshooting, but my cellular service (T-mobile) was sufficient. The host was very communicative and responsive throughout my stay. I didn’t receive dining recommendations, but it was easy to find places to eat.

If you have a family with children this is the PERFECT place! Not only are there plenty of toys and board games to keep the kids entertained, there is also a pool and jacuzzi. This rental even had toothbrushes and toothpaste along with sunscreen and aloe in case you forgot.

This was my first experience in an Airbnb and I could not have been more pleased. This home is clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a week-long stay! Some of the many highlights: Parking is dedicated and convenient. Kitchen well stocked with a full-sized fridge. There is so much room between the kitchen, living/bedroom and the bathroom/bathroom area! Recliners and bed were super comfortable. TV was easy to use and seemed to have a ton of channels, plus apps like YouTube. Water pressure in the shower was *fantastic* (also the shower head situated high on the wall, great for tall guests). Fast internet connection. Quiet neighborhood. I kept the windows and door open all day while I was there. Lovely patio with a table and large umbrella. Very nice and communicative owners! Most importantly, I felt very safe as a solo traveler. I feel lucky I had the opportunity to stay here and would 100% do so again!

Perfect! Derek and Brooke really have such a wonderful place and it’s so close to a very eventful downtown La Mesa. We dined there each night and attended the local Farmer’s markets. The home is so peaceful and had everything we needed. It’s just enough space for 2 - 4 people. (This trip was only me and my mom) They gave ample instructions and it was very easy to lock up when we left and easy to enter. We also appreciated being able to park directly in front of the unit on the street. The neighborhood is so lovely, you’ll wish you lived on this street! I’m definitely going to rebook this space next time I’m in town.

There were a few small issues — when we moved the sofa bed, we found quite a bit of trash underneath, as well as under other furniture and behind trash cans. I have small children and wanted to make sure nothing was left behind, so it was noticeable during our quick check. Other than that, everything was peWe felt very comfortable in the home. We stayed at Zeina and Mo's place for one week with our East Coast and West Coast children and grands--6 adults and 6 children in all from ages 2-12. We could not have been more pleased. The house was meticulously clean and was spacious enough for all. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to prepare meals at home. An added plus was an outdoor grill under a cabana like space with a table for 6 and outdoor counter to provide additional seating. The pool is larger than it appears in the pictures on the web site. The whole outdoor space was clean and welcoming and proved to be a center piece of our stay. There were plentiful and soft towels for bathing and the pool. Zeina and Mo were promptly responsive to any questions or concerns we had. We left with many fond memories of our week together, in large part due to to how comfortable and pleasant we felt about our stay was at Zeina and Mo's house.

The place itself was clean, stylish, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The parking was really nice to have. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. It’s clear they take great pride in their property. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in. This place is so cute! It was close to everything AC works great. The bed was super comfy and the massage chair was a huge bonus! Will be going back if available next time I’m in town! Ty

The host welcomed us with a sign, I enjoyed the night there. I’m a small petite person so I slept on the coach and it’s so comfortable. I recommend for anyone who doesn’t mind a small setting. My siblings and I felt safe and secured during our stay! I recommend!

Kaios place was perfect for our event. Not a thing I would change about this place. Great donut shops, coffee spots, ceviche spots as stones throw away. Peaceful, quiet, stress free place.
