We renovated a two-story storehouse built in the Edo period and turned it into a guest house. It's not very large, but it retains the atmosphere of a traditional earthen-walled storehouse, with thick beams and more. There's a kitchen on the first floor with an IH cooking heater.Fully air-conditioned on the 1st and 2nd floors for a comfortable stay.You can experience the sound insulation, the coolness of the summer, and the warmth of winter. There is a sauna facility about 5 minutes away by car, Anegawa Onsen is about 15 minutes away, and Kita-Omi no Yu is about 20 minutes away. There are many sightseeing spots unique to Nagahama, which are often the setting of history. In addition to the area around Lake Biwa, Japan's oldest railway station building, Nagahama Railway Square, Yanmar Museum where children can play, Kurobai Square, and other activities other than history. You can also enjoy gourmet dishes such as Omi beef, duck cuisine, grilled mackerel with somen noodles, udon noodles with tofu, and salads with bread, duck, and small ayu fish.

We received such a consultation, and we remodeled the nearly 100-year-old house with the desire to preserve it for future generations. Welcome to [3Re: Kura], a private inn that has been reborn into a comfortable space while retaining the good qualities of an old house. [Re Origine (Use what you can and don't destroy more than you need)] [Re Make (reuse and rebirth)] [Re Meaning (Redefining the value of the countryside)] Based on the concept of the three Re's, we strive to create new value while cherishing our roots. We are trying to see if we can make use of the house with a warehouse. My imagination is running wild, thinking of turning the warehouse into a theater room. The warehouse has a BBQ set, outdoor chairs, outdoor tables, fire pits, etc. You can enjoy a tent sauna and BBQ in the large garden. Please inquire when booking if you are interested. * Notes * Due to regional characteristics, there is a large number of Japanese rhinoceros beetles from late March to early April and from November to early December. It may be unpleasant for those who are staying at that time. Please acknowledge it beforehand.

Our guesthouse is located at the foot of Mt. Inari, offering a quiet environment where you can wake up to the sound of birdsong, so it's a little distance from the station. The nearest stations are Ryukoku-daimae Fukakusa Station on the Keihan Railway (1.3 km, 17-minute walk) and Inari Station on the JR Line (1.5 km, 20-minute walk). We have started a free pick-up service upon arrival at Kyoto Station. The meeting point at Kyoto Station is about a 4-minute walk from the station. Of course, we will also provide transportation to Kyoto Station after check-out. We do not offer transportation services to tourist attractions, so if you wish to travel by car, please use Uber Taxi. It will arrive quickly and is convenient. However, we will flexibly provide free transportation to the nearest station on a daily basis, so please rest assured.
