Cottage holiday rentals in Lane County

This was the perfect place for us to slow down a little and catch up. We had been driving up the coast for about a week and were ready to relax when we got to Florence. We were located just 6miles south of Florence, an easy drive to restaurants and sights. We enjoyed the Sea Lion Caves, Dune Buggy rides(go on the fast one!), shopping, and great restaurants. The Pono Hukilau and 1258 Restobar were actually two of our Top 5 favorites from the whole trip from San Francisco to Corvallis, OR. The house was very clean, well stocked with towels, water in fridge, coffee to get started with, shower soap, shampoo, and conditioner(great quality!). Plenty of notes and instructions to answer questions that might come up. The neighborhood was quiet and very safe to walk. We only enjoyed the hot tub one night, it was very clean. Only walked out to the dock, didn’t go out on the water. Mainly because of our schedule and it was a little cool for us Floridians. Overall great place to stay & nice area.

Cute place. Had all the amenities. Loved the front deck for morning coffee. Enjoyed the hot tub in the evenngs. Perfect close walk to the beach! Hope to come back again.

Everything was absolutely as described. Private, clean and relaxing. Plenty of restaurants in the area to walk too. We had a lovely time.

Such a great location and stay experience. It was so peaceful. Had everything you could possibly want and need, from blankets to horseshoes. The house has a cool story, and a one of a kind location. We brought our dog and we're appreciative of the fully fenced yard and dog amenities, like treats and a leash. We will be back!

Our stay on the river was magical. The hot tub was amazing and I can't say enough about the sounds of the river and gorgeous surroundings. For the summer months, make sure to note that the listing indicates there is no air conditioning. We stayed during an abnormaly hot time (high 90s outside, house was 94 degrees inside when we checked in). With the single 1980s fan provided we had to figure out which windows and shades open/ shut throughout the day to keep the house as cool as possible (the bedroom on the lower level was our saving grace).

Sharon’s cottage is a true hidden gem. Nestled in a beautifully secluded spot, it’s the perfect retreat if you’re looking to escape the noise and reconnect with nature. The photos simply don’t do it justice; the cottage is more peaceful in person than they can possibly capture. One of the things I appreciated most was the absence of Wi-Fi and limited cell service—it gave me the chance to truly unplug and unwind. There is a TV with a small collection of DVDs, which was a lovely touch for a quiet evening in (I'd recommend bringing your own favorites if you have any). The cabin is also dog-friendly, which made it even more special. If you’re a fan of solitude & quiet mornings this place is a dream. All in all, this cottage is a perfect little sanctuary. There are 56 stairs from the house to the boathouse and every single one of them is worth it. Lynda’s boat house is amazing, it’s fun for sunny or rainy days, if you’re not sure of the weather while visiting 10 mile then this place is perfect because you can still be in the lake and have that experience from the indoors too. So fun for kids. The water on 10mile is not great from the pipes, not just at Lynda’s, we stay 10 mile a lot and this is just something about it, had a sulfur smell and taste. Lynda had good clean water there for us. Beds are not great, I heard from my friend that the bed in the guest house was good though. The two in the main house were difficult, I’m 36, I can do it but I also feel it. There is not shampoo or any of those types of amenities, there was a big bag of sample condition though, so be prepared to back your own cosmetics. She has a good amount of towels which is a necessity and was appreciated. The view was great,

What a peaceful and beautiful home to enjoy! It was a perfect fit for me and my parents with a bedroom downstairs for them and rooms upstairs for me and my friend. The additional bathroom is a short walk outside but is big and clean (and you get to see the bright stars as you take the 15 steps out the back door to get there!) We were in Eugene for the UO graduations, so we didn’t get to enjoy the many activities that are awaiting you at this great home, but loved the beauty of the property and tranquil setting.

Great location on the central coast.

Kurt’s carriage house was EXACTLY as advertised. The home was comfortable and perfect for mine and my wife’s weekend getaway in Eugene. It was extremely cozy and full of charm. The neighborhood was very private and very walkable for the entire weekend. We would stay again if we’re ever in Eugene in the future!

Stunning lake view from beautiful picture window. Watched a brilliant sunrise, ducks and an eagle from the window. The kids found a sweet little sledding hill that was the perfect size for them, made snowmen and had snowball fights. Beds were comfortable and cabin was warm. Kitchen was missing lids for the pots and basic staples. The general store was open. Would definitely visit again!

The listing for Jessica's place was brand new when I found it and I was a little nervous since it had no reviews, but was willing to take a chance and book it due to its proximity to Hayward. Could not have been happier with the outcome. This is a sweet little AirBnB that comes with secure off-street parking, a huge plus if you're coming for a track event - leave your car parked and just walk the 1.5 blocks to Hayward! The whole unit is brand new and Jessica and owner Mary were so very helpful and truly went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and requests. The unit is bright and airy - which is lovely; just don't forget your sleep mask if you sleep best in a dark environment. High quality linens and towels, good water pressure, and a nice complement of toiletries. They even had still and sparkling waters stocked in the fridge for us which was a treat. Thanks for a great stay!

This little cabin was amazing! I loved the back deck/ porch and the chairs on the lawn that overlooked the gorgeous river that ran behind the house. As a woman who travels solo a lot my number one priority while looking for a place to stay is ‘how safe do I feel here’, and I felt very safe at this cabin. I’d you’re outdoorsy like me you’ll love that the cabin is an easy 30-60 minute drive to some pretty incredible waterfalls and hiking trails, which was the main reason why I came to the area, but after a day of hiking and exploring, this cabin was a great and quiet place to come back to relax. If you’re in the Cottage Grove/ Dorena area I would highly recommend staying here instead of a hotel, the nights were so quiet and the stars were amazing! I hope to go back to the area sometime in the future and when I do I hope this little cabin is available!

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful location on a working farm. We were invited to pick sweet, ripe cherries from the trees behind the cottage which was a really nice touch. The garden is really pretty and the porch is colorful and comfortable. We ate in both nights just so we could enjoy the cottage a little longer. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive. We stayed here due to the proximity to Hayward Field at University of Oregon. It was about a 30 minute drive. Not bad at all and worth it for the setting.

Wonderful to stay here. Nice area with beautiful views and close to lots of fun activities. Short walk to the beach, the deck views are incredible! Lovely, little place that is cozy when you need it, but invites you to go explore outside. Love the octopus theme! Would love to return again.

The house was amazing and clean! I guarantee to you want wake up to better views!!! I went for work, but I’m going back up in vacation that’s how cool this place was!

Dee’s charming cottage provided the perfect getaway retreat. The cottage was absolutely immaculate. The kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked and sparkling clean. The cozy ambience was lovely, and even more spacious than we imagined. There were plenty of blankets and pillows for our cool and rainy stay. The view of the river was stunning, and we fell blissfully asleep to the soothing sounds of the rushing water. Dee prepared delicious homemade scones for our arrival, which was such a thoughtful gesture on her part. Her communication was timely and cordial from booking to checkout. We highly recommend this attentive host and her hidden gem of a cottage.

Wonderful get-away spot, nice, relaxing, and quiet. Wandering all the garden paths was magical. Being situated above the marine layer was really interesting. It can get very windy but it's beautiful. The host was nearby in a house down the hill and we had a nice chat/coffee the morning we left. The house is on the small side - perfect for 2 but really not ideal for more. The bathroom is open to the bedroom but there is a door between the bedroom and living room. Kitchen had everything we needed with a huge fridge. Would definitely return.

Cozy Gem for sure. Shanna’s BnB is adorable, well stocked, private, and comfortable. I wanted to stay on for days to enjoy the private porch and patio lined with flowers. Every exchange was easy and helpful. Definitely recommend!!

The Cocoon cottage was such absolutely perfect, everything is so beautifully detailed and cozy. You can tell how much thought was put into everything. I really wasn’t ready to leave the next day, I only booked one night but next time I’m definitely booking more. By the time i left though, I felt rejuvenated, after taking a bath overlooking the river, sitting in the sauna in a robe, having s’mores by the fire, cooking a meal in the cozy kitchen and having tea outside while I read my book, I felt so refreshed. It’s definitely an experience we’ll never forget. Everything was also very easy to use, we were worried about starting up the sauna because we had never done it before but just following the instructions she had made it very smooth. Thank you so much for the experience! Hopefully one day we can check out the other vacation homes she has too :)
